Watford’s estimated top 10 player wages for 2026–27
The figures below are SalaryLeaks estimates. Its table lists base weekly and annual pay separately from estimated annual bonuses. Annual salaries are rounded in places, so they should be read as approximations rather than exact totals.
| Rank | Player | Estimated weekly pay | Estimated annual pay | Estimated bonus per year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Imrân Louza | £30,000 | £1.6 million | £468,000 |
| 2 | Martín Payero | £20,000 | £1 million | £260,000 |
| 3 | Federico Ravaglia | £20,000 | £1 million | £260,000 |
| 4 | Marc Bola | £15,400 | £800,000 | £200,000 |
| 5 | Mattie Pollock | £12,500 | £650,000 | £78,000 |
| 6 | Jeremy Ngakia | £10,000 | £520,000 | £62,400 |
| 7 | Jérémy Petris | £9,600 | £500,000 | £75,000 |
| 8 | Nestory Irankunda | £9,600 | £500,000 | £75,000 |
| 9 | Kwadwo Baah | £9,600 | £500,000 | £60,000 |
| 10 | Vivaldo Semedo | £7,700 | £400,000 | £80,000 |
Louza leads the list by an estimated £10,000 a week over Payero and Ravaglia, who share second place. The figures are estimates for the players SalaryLeaks includes in its 2026–27 table, not an audited or necessarily complete club payroll. See SalaryLeaks’ Watford salary table and methodology.
How reliable are Watford player wage figures?
Individual player contracts are generally private. SalaryLeaks says comprehensive Championship salary data is rarely published and that many figures are informed estimates based on available reporting and club wage-bill information. It says a verification tick is used for figures reported by trusted journalists or reputable media; the displayed top-ten entries do not show such a marker for these players. The figures should therefore be treated as estimates, not confirmed contract terms.

Capology also labels its figures as estimates and says they are not official. Its 2026–27 Watford table differs from SalaryLeaks’ list, underscoring that salary databases may use different information, squad coverage or assumptions. The lists should not be averaged into a supposedly more precise answer. Read Capology’s Watford salary estimates.
Why Watford’s official wage bill is a different figure
Watford Association Football Club Limited’s accounts for the year ended 30 June 2025 report wages and salary costs of £28.1 million, compared with £33 million in 2023–24. The accounts also give a wages-to-revenue ratio of 108% for 2024–25, compared with 57% for 2023–24. These are historic, club-wide accounting figures—not a list of first-team salaries and not the total represented by this 2026–27 top ten. How the ranking changed from 2025–26
SalaryLeaks’ 2025–26 table ranked Moussa Sissoko first at an estimated £45,000 a week, with Louza and Tom Ince next at £30,000 a week. In its 2026–27 table, Louza is first and Sissoko and Ince are not listed. That is a difference between database season snapshots and listed squad coverage; it does not establish that a player’s contract was renegotiated or that Watford disclosed new wages. See SalaryLeaks’ 2025–26 Watford table.
