The RRB ALP CBT-1 city-intimation slips for the 2024 exam were scheduled to become available from 15 to 19 November 2024, depending on each candidate’s exam date. The CBT-1 exam itself took place from 25 to 29 November 2024, so this is a historical notice—not a current exam update. The Railway Recruitment Boards called the later admit card an “E-Call letter”; it was separate from the city and date intimation slip.
City intimation slip vs. RRB ALP e-call letter
The city-intimation slip told a candidate their exam city and date. The e-call letter was a separate document for the exam. Under the 2024 schedule, the city/date link was to activate 10 days before the exam, while e-call-letter downloads were to start four days before the exam date shown in that link. The schedule also associated the SC/ST travel authority with the city/date link.
RRB ALP CBT-1 dates and city-slip release schedule
The Railway Recruitment Boards’ 24 October 2024 revised schedule set CBT-1 for 25–29 November 2024. The 15 November notice gave these city-intimation activation dates:
| CBT-1 exam date | City-intimation activation date |
|---|---|
| 25 November 2024 | 15 November 2024 |
| 26 November 2024 | 16 November 2024 |
| 27 November 2024 | 17 November 2024 |
| 28 November 2024 | 18 November 2024 |
| 29 November 2024 | 19 November 2024 |
These are the original release dates in the RRB notice, not confirmation that candidate-specific links remain accessible today. Registered applicants were to receive an SMS and email at the contact details used in their applications when their city slip was activated.

How to download the RRB ALP city slip or e-call letter
- Open the official website of the regional RRB relevant to your application.
- Find the CEN 01/2024 ALP CBT-1 city-intimation or e-call-letter notice or link.
- Follow that RRB page’s on-screen instructions to access the relevant document.
- Save or print the document if you need a copy for your records.
The official RRB Chandigarh notices page listed both the CBT-1 city-intimation and e-call-letter links on 15 November 2024. The notice material does not specify login fields or establish a direct download address, so use the official regional page rather than a link shared by an unauthenticated source. It also does not establish an alternate retrieval route if an old link is no longer active.
What the 2024 notice told candidates
The RRB’s 15 November 2024 notice said a helpdesk link was provided with the city-intimation link. Its listed hours were Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The same notice advised applicants to check official RRB websites for recruitment updates and warned against touts promising jobs in exchange for illegal consideration.
The revised schedule also instructed candidates to undergo Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication at the exam centre before entry, bring their original Aadhaar card, and authenticate their Aadhaar through rrbapply.gov.in if they had not already done so. These were instructions for the 2024 cycle; check the relevant notice for any later recruitment cycle’s requirements.
