The booking deadline was April 11, 2024, and travel was scheduled for May through December 2024. Both windows have passed, so these fares are not bookable now.
What the April 2024 sale offered
Airline Ratings reported that Qantas discounted Domestic Economy fares to more than 60 destinations, with advertised starting fares from $105 one-way. More than 30 routes were reported below $150. These were sale starting prices, not a promise that every flight or date on a route would be available at that price.
| Example route | Reported one-way starting fare |
|---|---|
| Launceston–Melbourne | $105 |
| Ballina–Sydney | $119 |
| Sydney–Gold Coast | $129 |
| Hobart–Melbourne | $135 |
| Brisbane–Hervey Bay | $139 |
| Maroochydore–Sydney | $149 |
Airline Ratings published those route examples on April 9, 2024; each is a one-way advertised starting fare, not a current quote or a guaranteed fare for every travel date. The sale was also reported to cover more than one million discounted seats, a promotional figure reported by PerthNow rather than an independent measure of savings.
When the sale ended and when travel was available
PerthNow reported that bookings closed at 9:59 p.m. AWST on April 11, 2024, unless the sale sold out sooner. The reported travel period ran from May through December 2024. As of October 8, 2026, both the booking period and travel window have ended.

Why availability could vary
The advertised prices applied to selected travel dates and days; PerthNow noted that sale fares might not be available on every flight or day and that blackout periods applied. The April 2024 report said the fares were available through Qantas.com and travel agents. The headline price was therefore a limited one-way starting fare, not a general fare for any itinerary.
What the reported fare inclusions were
For this April 2024 promotion, Airline Ratings reported that Qantas fares included checked baggage, complimentary food and beverages, free Wi-Fi on domestic aircraft, and seat selection. Those are inclusions reported for this sale at that time; they should not be assumed to describe every current Qantas fare or booking.

- Size and material: This 1/400 aircraft model is 6.30×5.71×1.85 inches in size, and the package is equipped with a display aircraft stand. The fuselage of the Airbus A380 Lufthansa aircraft model is made of high-quality resin, and the belly wings and tail are made of metal die-casting. The structure is sturdy and not easy to damage, and can be stored for a long time without fear of minor collisions.
- Prebuilt landing gear: The 1/400 aircraft model has added a new design of the landing gear part. The bracket part is restored and simulated according to the real aircraft, and the pulley part needs to be installed separately. There is a recessed card slot for installing the landing gear on the belly, which can be disassembled according to personal preference. The card slot tends to be invisible design, and removing the wheel will not affect the display of the aircraft model.
- Painting improvement: The aircraft model restores the appearance of a real aviation aircraft, and the surface is paint and UV coating. The problem of paint peeling has been optimized and it is not easy to fade. Compared with aircraft model stickers, it will look more real.
- Entertainment and collectibles: The newly added assembly wheel design adds fun and interactivity to the model. The airplane model A380 can be used as a desktop ornament, and is also suitable for model enthusiasts to collect, or as a creative gift for aviation fans, to meet the needs of different scenarios.
- Worry-free purchase: Because the wheels of this airplane model can be removed, you need to be careful not to eat it by mistake. QIYUMOKE airplane models pay attention to product quality issues. If there are any quality problems with the A380 model plane, we will solve it for you within 24 hours, and we are committed to making good models and improving customer satisfaction.
There was another 72-hour Qantas sale later in 2024
The April promotion is not the only Qantas sale that fits the headline. Qantas Newsroom announced a separate domestic promotion on November 12, 2024, with fares from $109 one-way to more than 60 destinations and travel through September 18, 2025. Airline Ratings also covered that November sale. Its starting fare and travel window belong to that later offer, not the April promotion. Without the original headline’s publication date, the two sales should not be conflated.
Neither promotion remains bookable: the November travel window also ended before October 8, 2026. For a present-day trip, check current fares directly rather than relying on either historical sale price.
