The Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition launched at $399.99 in the US, with Xbox naming Meta.com and Best Buy as US retailers and Argos and EE in the UK. Xbox said quantities were “extremely limited,” so those are launch channels—not confirmation of stock today. Check the retailer’s live listing and seller before buying. The bundle adds a controller, Elite Strap and subscription trials to the standard Quest 3S, but whether it is a better bargain depends on whether you will use those extras.
Where to look for the Quest 3S Xbox Edition
In its June 24, 2025 launch announcement, Xbox named these retailers:
- United States: Meta.com and Best Buy.
- United Kingdom: Argos and EE.
Xbox described quantities as “extremely limited.” That launch notice does not establish current inventory, current prices, or availability in other countries. Check the retailer’s own live product page for stock, price, delivery region and seller; a marketplace resale offer is not the same as official retailer inventory. The launch list should not be read as proof that the edition was exclusive to the US: Xbox named UK retailers too.
What the $399.99 launch bundle included
The Xbox Edition was a 128GB Quest 3S in Xbox Carbon Black and Velocity Green, bundled with:

Xbox set the US launch price at $399.99. The listed subscription periods are trials, not proof of a permanent subscription or of what a buyer will pay afterward. Check the offer terms, eligibility and recurring-billing details before redeeming. Best Buy’s listing also describes the bundle contents, but that does not confirm its present stock or price.
Is it a better bargain than the standard Quest 3S?
Meta announced the standard Quest 3S starting at $299.99 in September 2024. Compared with those two announced launch prices, the Xbox Edition cost $100 more. That is a launch-price comparison, not a guaranteed saving or a comparison of current local prices.

| At launch | Standard Meta Quest 3S | Quest 3S Xbox Edition |
|---|---|---|
| Announced price | $299.99 starting price, announced by Meta in September 2024. | $399.99, announced by Xbox on June 24, 2025. |
| Storage and styling | Standard Quest 3S; Meta’s cited announcement does not specify a storage configuration in this comparison. | 128GB, Xbox Carbon Black and Velocity Green. |
| Included bundle extras | The cited standard-model announcement does not establish the Xbox Edition’s bundle extras. | Xbox Wireless Controller, Meta Quest Elite Strap, and three months each of Meta Horizon+ and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. |
The extra $100 may make sense if you would otherwise buy the included controller and strap, value the colorway, and use both trial subscriptions under their terms. It is less compelling if you already own a compatible controller, do not want the strap or subscriptions, or prefer the standard model’s lower launch price. The available launch-price comparison does not establish today’s prices, resale values, or that buying these items separately at full list price is the best alternative.

No. Xbox lists Quest 3S, Quest 3, Quest Pro and Quest 2 as supported headsets for Xbox Cloud Gaming. The Xbox Edition’s appeal is its hardware bundle, styling and included trial—not exclusive access to cloud gaming. Xbox says users need a Quest headset, compatible controller, the Xbox app, high-speed internet and an active Game Pass subscription for most cloud games.

What to check before you pay
- Confirm the exact model: look for “Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition 128GB.” A standard Quest 3S is a different product and does not include the Xbox Edition bundle described above.
- Check the seller and region: use a retailer’s own listing, confirm it ships to your location, and distinguish official stock from third-party resale.
- Compare today’s total cost: compare current local prices rather than relying on the 2024 and 2025 US launch prices. Account for delivery, taxes and any return conditions shown by the seller.
- Read trial terms: verify eligibility, redemption deadlines and any recurring charge after the included subscription periods.
- Value only extras you will use: the controller, Elite Strap, subscription trials and limited-edition styling are what make the bundle different; cloud gaming also works on other supported Quest headsets.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
