The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board’s revised 2025–26 exam calendar was issued on 7 March 2025, replacing its 24 October 2024 schedule. Its examination dates and the timing for merit lists before document verification are marked tentative. The listed exam dates are in 2025 and have passed; candidates checking a vacancy now should use the latest recruitment-specific RSSB notice rather than treat this calendar as a current schedule.
What the revised RSSB exam calendar covers
The notice is headed “संशोधित परीक्षा कैलेंडर (समय-सारणी) वर्ष 2025-26” (revised examination calendar/schedule, year 2025–26). RSSB said it updated the earlier calendar to reflect partial changes to some examination dates and to include upcoming recruitment examinations. The notice is dated 7 March 2025 and signed by Secretary Bhag Chand Badhal. Read the official revised calendar (PDF).
The calendar is a planning document, not a guarantee that every listed date or milestone remained unchanged. It identifies each examination, whether it is CET or non-CET, a tentative examination date and mode, and tentative timing for publication of the merit list before document verification. Modes in the listed entries include offline, type test, and offline/TBT/CBT.
How to read the dates and exam details
- CET or non-CET: This indicates the route shown for the examination in the calendar; check the recruitment notification for eligibility and application rules.
- Tentative date: Treat the calendar date as provisional. Later notices for a particular recruitment may give a revised date or specific session information.
- Mode: The calendar’s mode entry is a planning detail. Follow the recruitment-specific instructions for the actual exam format and logistics.
- Merit-list timing: The pre-document-verification merit-list timing is also tentative, not a confirmed result date.
Why candidates should check later recruitment notices
RSSB’s recruitment-level notices can add details that a broad calendar does not provide and can correct information. For example, a 27 May 2025 notice for contractual examinations specified dates and sessions and explained that candidates could access provisional admit cards using an SSO ID or the Rajasthan recruitment portal. See the 27 May notice and admit-card instructions. An earlier notice was revised on 17 May to correct some examination-name details. See the 17 May revision.

How to check the status of your recruitment
- Open the official RSSB website and find the latest notice for your specific recruitment or examination.
- Compare the recruitment name and notice date with your application. Read any revision or corrigendum as well as the original notice.
- Follow the current notice’s instructions for exam date, session, mode, admit card, and candidate login. If it directs you to SSO or the Rajasthan recruitment portal, use the official portal route specified there.
- Check again near the examination: a broad calendar or an older admit-card notice may not reflect a later change.
