Is Rajasthan Programmer registration still open?
No. The application window for the Programmer Exam 2024 recruitment has ended. Scroll reported that applications were accepted through the Rajasthan Recruitment Portal until July 4, 2024; that date is historical, not a current deadline. Its report also cited 352 posts, but the category-wise breakdown should be checked against the original recruitment advertisement and any corrigenda.
The portal is a unified service for Rajasthan government recruitment. Its workflow can include registration, an advertisement, application, admit card, examination, answer key, shortlist, document verification, result, recommendation and appointment or posting. The official portal’s current vacancy list is the appropriate place to check for openings now: Rajasthan Recruitment Portal.
How did candidates apply in 2024?
The following steps describe the process reported during the 2024 application period only; they do not mean the application form is still available. Scroll’s June 17, 2024 guide directed candidates to the Rajasthan Recruitment Portal to apply for the Programmer posts.

- Open the Rajasthan Recruitment Portal and locate the Programmer recruitment notice.
- Select “Apply Now” for the Programmer posts and complete the portal’s registration process.
- Fill in the application form and pay the fee shown in the applicable recruitment notice.
- Submit the application and retain a printout or copy for your records.
The original advertisement and any corrigenda—not a past news report or another recruitment’s terms—are the controlling sources for eligibility, age limits and relaxations, fees, reservation rules and category-wise vacancies. Those details should not be inferred from the 352-post headline.
What happened after applications closed?
Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) records show that the recruitment progressed beyond the application stage. Its previous-question-paper archive lists the Programmer Exam 2024 Paper-I and Paper-II, dated November 5, 2024. The RPSC results index lists a provisional eligibility-checking list and cutoff marks on February 1, 2025, followed by a main result and cutoff on June 23, 2025.
The Department of Information Technology and Communication (DOIT&C) Programmer Exam 2024 page also carries later appointment, posting and joining-related notices, including appointment or posting notices dated August 7 and October 30, 2025. Check the official records for the latest notice and any instructions that apply to an individual candidate.

Confirm that any study material matches the syllabus for the relevant exam cycle; a commercial book or coaching resource is not official merely because it covers Programmer topics.
