The five positive testimonials in a January 2025 TechBullion article about PureVision Trader are not independently authenticated, and the article does not substantiate a measurable five-star rating or its trading-performance claims. Since then, securities regulators in Alberta, Ontario and Québec have issued registration or authorization warnings about the identified Purevisiontrader/Pure Vision Trader. Those warnings are important, but they are not, by themselves, court findings of fraud.

What the “5-Star Testimonials” claim—and what is verified

TechBullion published “PureVision Trader Earns Canadian Trust: 5-Star Testimonials Flood In,” by Anamta Shehzadi, on January 17, 2025. The article presents five favorable accounts attributed to people identified by first name and surname initial. It describes them as Canadian clients and mentions usability, customer support, trading insights and results.

The article does not provide verifiable customer identities, a review-collection method, evidence that the accounts are genuine, or a verifiable aggregate star rating. It also makes claims about measurable results and positive reviews without substantiating them. Treat the testimonials and performance claims as statements in that promotional article, not as independently established customer experiences or proof of trading outcomes.

What Canadian regulators have warned

Regulator notices concern the identified Purevisiontrader or Pure Vision Trader and the websites named in the relevant notice. They address registration or authorization in specific jurisdictions; they do not establish that every business with a similar name is the same entity.

Jurisdiction Regulator notice What it says
Alberta Alberta Securities Commission caution-list entry, added March 4, 2025 Purevisiontrader is not registered to trade in or advise on securities or derivatives in Alberta. The entry lists websites associated with the entity and alternative business names, and advises investors to check registration.
Ontario Ontario Securities Commission alert listed by the Canadian Securities Administrators, dated August 21, 2025; CSA page last updated June 30, 2026 Pure Vision Trader, found at purevisiontrader.net and purevisionbot.com, is not registered in Ontario to engage in the business of trading in securities.
Québec Autorité des marchés financiers warning, published March 28, 2025 and updated August 1, 2025 Purevisiontrader is not registered with the AMF and is not authorized to solicit investors in Québec.

These are jurisdiction-specific regulator warnings about registration or authorization. The notices do not, on their own, amount to a court judgment that the entity committed fraud. For the same reason, the testimonials should not be treated as evidence that the service is registered, authorized, reliable or profitable.

How to check a trading platform before sending money

Registration is a key check, but it needs to match the service being offered. A company name alone may not identify the legal entity behind a website, and a registration in one place would not automatically establish authorization in another.

  1. Identify the exact entity and website. Record the legal business name, website address, and the name of the firm or person asking you to open an account. Compare them with the names and websites in the relevant regulator’s notice.
  2. Check the regulator for your province. Use the securities regulator’s official registration resources and alert or caution lists. The Alberta Securities Commission specifically advises investors to check registration; the CSA listing attributes the Ontario alert to the OSC, and Québec’s AMF issued its own warning.
  3. Confirm what the registration covers. Verify that the named entity is authorized for the activity it proposes, such as trading in securities or advising on them. Do not assume that a similarly named firm, an app, or registration for a different activity is equivalent.
  4. Evaluate testimonials separately. Look for independently verifiable reviewers, a clear explanation of how reviews were collected, and evidence supporting any stated performance figures. Positive anecdotes are not a substitute for registration checks or proof of returns.
  5. Pause if details do not match or a warning applies. Do not rely on a platform’s own claims to resolve a discrepancy with a regulator notice. Contact the relevant regulator through its official channels if you need to clarify whether a firm or website is covered.

What this means for prospective Canadian users

The TechBullion article’s headline presents trust and five-star testimonials as if they were established facts, but the article does not provide the evidence needed to verify either a measured rating or the trading claims. The later notices from Alberta, Ontario and Québec are a more concrete reason to check the exact entity, website and provincial rules before considering any interaction with the service. This is a consumer-safety assessment, not a finding that a court has determined fraud.
