Palace Elite Membership: Is It Worth It? How to Evaluate the Cost

Palace Elite’s value depends on your contract and travel plans. Compare full membership costs with equivalent nonmember bookings, and value Resort Credit only after its service fee and restrictions.

Palace Elite may be worth considering if you regularly stay at eligible Palace Resorts and your contract makes those stays cost less overall than comparable nonmember bookings. There is no public, universal membership price or substantiated average-savings figure, so the answer depends on your written offer, how often you travel, and the benefits you will actually use.

What Palace Elite membership offers

Palace Elite describes itself as a Palace Resorts vacation club. The Palace Company lists Diamond and Residence membership levels and advertises a best-price guarantee, exclusive promotions, access to superior room categories, and dedicated web and call-center service. The member site also advertises airport transportation, room upgrades, choice accommodations, and spa access. These are advertised benefits, not assurances that every member or reservation qualifies; check the terms that apply to your tier and booking.

The official member page describes airport transportation as a service for members and adds, “Restrictions may apply.” Confirm whether it applies to your membership and itinerary before assigning it a dollar value.

How much does Palace Elite cost?

The public pages reviewed do not state a standard membership price or a typical total cost. Your written offer and contract are the relevant sources for the purchase price and any financing charges, recurring fees, term, booking or night entitlements, and restrictions. The website terms, last updated November 26, 2021, are not a substitute for the terms of an individual membership contract.

Do not estimate the cost from the advertised benefits or assume that all members have the same pricing. Ask for the full contract and an itemized account of costs before deciding.

How to calculate whether it is worth it

  1. Write down the full membership cost. Include the purchase price, financing charges, recurring charges, and any other costs stated in your contract. Note the contract term and any included booking or night entitlements.
  2. Compare equivalent stays. For the same resort, room category, occupancy, dates, cancellation conditions, and meal plan, compare the actual member total with a nonmember quote. Palace Elite’s posted website terms say rates vary with hotel capacity and travel season and direct users to current booking conditions.
  3. Count only benefits you expect to use. Check your eligibility and the reservation-specific rules for transportation, upgrades, room access, promotions, and other benefits. Value a benefit at what it would realistically save you—not at a marketing description or an assumed cash equivalent.
  4. Test the plan against changes. Review the contract’s provisions for cancellation, transfer, financing, booking, and changes to benefits. Consider whether the value still works if you travel less often, need different dates, or cannot get the room or availability you want.

A practical comparison is the total cost of membership and your expected eligible stays over the contract term versus the cost of the same expected stays booked without membership. Subtract only the realistic value of benefits you will use and qualify for. Public information does not provide the prices needed to calculate a universal break-even point.

How to value Palace Elite Resort Credit

The official promotion page lists these promotional Resort Credit amounts. They are offer terms shown on the page accessed October 8, 2026, not evidence of typical savings; availability and terms may change.

Stay length Promotional Resort Credit
3 nights $500 USD
4 nights $750 USD
5–7 nights $1,500 USD
10 or more nights $2,000 USD

The page says credit can be used for items including spa treatments, land and sea excursions, golf, and romantic dinners. It also states that a mandatory 16% service fee applies to products and services paid for with Resort Credit. That fee means the face amount is not equivalent to cash or an equal amount of savings. Estimate the value of purchases you would otherwise make, account for the fee, and check the offer’s other restrictions.

Eligibility varies by membership tier. The offer says Diamond and Residence members’ promotion applies to guests and referrals traveling with or without the member. For VIP and Regular members, referral credits do not apply when the referral travels without the member. The page directs members to their Palace Vacation Planner for details and notes that other terms may apply.

What the public information does—and does not—establish

The official pages describe advertised benefits and a specific Resort Credit promotion, but they do not establish a universal membership price, a verified average price, or typical member savings. No independent study or published typical-savings statistic is identified in the reviewed official material. The promotion’s stated amounts should not be treated as an independent measure of value.

For a decision, rely on your contract and date-specific booking comparisons, then confirm current promotion and benefit rules with Palace Elite. The public website’s posted terms may change and do not determine the provisions of an individual contract.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
