1. Start from Expedia’s official customer-service page
Go directly to Expedia Customer Service: How to Contact Expedia or open support through Expedia’s official app. Confirm that you are on Expedia’s site or app before sharing booking or payment information. Expedia specifically warns that fake phone numbers appear in search ads and on misleading webpages.
Expedia describes three main routes: phone, chat, and booking management. The page does not publish one universal phone number; it asks questions first and then directs you to the suitable agent and number.
2. Sign in for help with a particular booking
Open the Help Center and sign in if your question concerns a specific itinerary or account. Expedia says sign-in enables customized help. This is useful when support needs to be connected to a trip rather than handled as a general question.

3. Choose the Help Center topic that matches the issue
The Help Center organizes support by travel product and account concern. Select the closest match so you can review the relevant guidance before choosing a contact route.

- Account, Privacy, or Security

- Loyalty & Rewards
4. Use Manage booking for a change or adjustment
If you need to change or adjust a booking, Expedia’s “Do it yourself” route is Manage booking. Expedia describes it as a step-by-step process for eligible booking changes. Follow the options shown for your itinerary; if the change you need is not offered or you need help interpreting the terms, move to chat or the phone flow.

5. Use chat for guided help
Choose “Chat with us” on Expedia’s customer-service page to begin with its Virtual Agent. Expedia says the Virtual Agent can answer questions and help manage a trip, and can connect you to a human when needed. Chat is a useful option if you want guided help but do not need to begin with a phone call.
6. Follow the phone prompts if you want to speak with an agent
Select “Reach us by phone” from Expedia’s official customer-service page and answer the questions it presents. Expedia says those details help route you to the right agent and phone number, so avoid using a number copied from an unrelated site. Expedia states that customer-service agents are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; this is Expedia’s service statement, not an independently verified availability measure.

7. For a refund or cancellation, check the booking-specific guidance first
Open “Refunds & Charges” in the Help Center and choose the relevant refund or cancellation topic. Expedia links to refund basics and cancellation help for flights, hotels, and vacation rentals. Whether a refund is available depends on the booking terms and circumstances, so do not assume that cancelling automatically results in a refund.

Expedia says it will never ask for your password or one-time passcode, a wire transfer, or a gift card as payment for a trip. It says credit-card information is requested at checkout. If a person claiming to be support asks for a password, code, wire transfer, or gift card, stop the conversation and verify the request through Expedia’s official site or app before proceeding.
