There is no reliable, comparable top-eight ranking of the richest U.S. Big Brother contestants. Public figures are online estimates, not verified financial disclosures, and the few estimates available do not use a consistent basis. The clearest published figure in the available sources is Celebrity Net Worth’s $5 million estimate for season 2 winner Will Kirby, but that does not establish an official ranking.
Why a definitive richest-contestant ranking is not supportable
Neither the official Big Brother overview nor the estimates reviewed publish a comparable financial dataset for contestants. The official overview describes the competition and its prize, not contestants’ personal wealth. The published figures below come from secondary websites and should be read as claims by those publishers, not confirmed net worth.
Net worth, game winnings, career earnings, and household wealth are different measures. A prize is one potential source of income, while net worth reflects assets and liabilities across a person’s finances. A couple’s combined estimate cannot be compared directly with an individual estimate.
What published figures say about two contestants
| Person or household | Published figure | Source and what it measures |
|---|---|---|
| Will Kirby | $5 million | Celebrity Net Worth estimate, accessed in 2026; the site says its net-worth figures are estimates unless otherwise indicated. The page also reports that Kirby won Big Brother 2 and received a $500,000 prize. |
| Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas | $1.5 million combined | Celebrity Net Worth estimate, accessed in 2026. This is a couple’s combined figure, not Reilly’s individual net worth. |
| Rachel Reilly | $500,000 | GOBankingRates’ older reported estimate for Reilly. It differs from the later combined estimate above and should not be treated as a current, comparable individual figure. |
These figures do not support an ordered list of eight richest contestants. Kirby’s published estimate is the clearest individual figure among these examples, while the two Reilly estimates differ in both scope and value. The sources do not provide audited financial statements or a transparent, consistent calculation that would resolve the difference.

What the show’s prize tells you—and what it does not
The official Big Brother overview from Paramount Press Express / CBS Entertainment, dated June 2026, says: “Each week, someone will be voted out of the house, with the last remaining Houseguest receiving the grand prize of $750,000.” That is the season 28 grand prize, not a statement about any contestant’s present-day net worth.
Kirby’s reported $500,000 prize is a historical claim about his season 2 win, attributed to Celebrity Net Worth. It should not be conflated with the official season 28 prize: the figures relate to different seasons and sources, and neither alone establishes a winner’s current wealth.

- TRIVIA FOR EVERYONE: NEW! UPDATED FOR 2026. Unique to Amazon, we’ve created a game for both trivia and non-trivia people alike. We’ve taken feedback from people that both love and hate trivia, designing a game with classical general knowledge questions, like “How many hearts does an Octopus have?” and fun entertaining questions like “Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?” Questions are meticulously curated so subject matter is suitable for adults, teens, and families.
- 1500+ QUESTIONS: While most other Amazon quiz games have a paltry 400-500 questions, we supercharge the fun with over 1500 questions spanning an incredibly large array of topics! Trivia For Everyone contains 190 cards with 1520 questions, requires 2 or more players, and is suitable for those 14 years and older.
- 2 DIFFICULTIES: Unlike other Amazon trivia games that have one level of difficulty, we provide 2! Party Mode is for more accessible questions with lower difficulty and Expert Mode covers more obscure and challenging topics. Trivia for Everyone allows you to play the game the way you want to!
- 3 WAYS TO PLAY: Rather than just having one set way to play like most Amazon games, Trivia for Everyone includes three different modes of play. Free-For-All is designed for fast, competitive play. Question Master is more suited for relaxed play that can take place while socializing. Teams allows you to combine with your friends in a group to take out the competition.
- INNOVATIVE CARD DESIGN: Unlike other Amazon card games which use drab cards that spoil the answer for the reader, we’ve engineered beautiful multi-colored cards that don’t immediately give away the answer and allow for smooth play. It’s simple. Easier questions are in blue; their answers are on the other side of the card, also in blue. Harder questions are in red; their answers are on the other side of the card, also in red. No learning curve required!
Who counts as a contestant?
This title concerns contestants, or Houseguests, rather than everyone associated with the program. The official overview identifies Julie Chen Moonves as host, so she does not belong in a contestant ranking. Including a host in a list of contestants would change the scope of the comparison.

- Check the subject: Is the figure for one contestant or a couple?
- Check the date: An older estimate may not reflect later financial changes.
- Check the measure: A reported prize or career-income figure is not the same as net worth.
- Check the evidence: Unless a source explains its method and relies on verifiable disclosures, treat the number as an estimate rather than a confirmed balance sheet.
With those distinctions in mind, Will Kirby is a plausible answer to “Who is the richest Big Brother contestant?” only in the limited sense that Celebrity Net Worth publishes a $5 million estimate for him. The available figures cannot establish that he is definitively the richest, much less substantiate a top eight.
