7 Richest Child Stars of All Time: What the Estimates Say

Published estimates for former child stars vary by source and date. Here’s what the figures say—and why they don’t prove a definitive richest-seven ranking.

There is no audited, definitive ranking of the seven richest child stars. Published net-worth estimates vary by source and date, so this list is an editorial selection—not a verified top-seven leaderboard. The figures below are estimates reported by the named publishers, not confirmed financial disclosures.

How to read this list

Net worth is the estimated value of a person’s assets minus liabilities. The entertainment sites cited here do not provide independently auditable calculations, and the available estimates do not use a common methodology or date. That makes precise comparisons unreliable. The amounts below should be read as published estimates, not as money a person has publicly confirmed having.

The selection includes performers whose careers began in childhood and whose reported wealth reflects different career paths. The sources do not provide comparable breakdowns showing how much came from acting, later work, or business interests. The order is editorial, not a claim that the figures establish an objective ranking.

Seven child stars and their reported net-worth estimates

Person Published estimate Career and estimate context
Mary-Kate Olsen $500 million, Celebrity Net Worth profile accessed in 2026 Celebrity Net Worth describes Olsen as a former child performer and entrepreneur. The profile does not publish a transparent, independently auditable calculation of the estimate. Celebrity Net Worth profile
Daniel Radcliffe $120 million, LoveMoney, August 2026 LoveMoney says its estimates are courtesy of Celebrity Net Worth unless otherwise stated. Radcliffe’s estimate differs across publishers and even within a Celebrity Net Worth page; it should not be treated as a settled figure. LoveMoney’s 2026 roundup
Jodie Foster $100 million, GOBankingRates, April 2023 GOBankingRates included this estimate in a roundup covering more than seven people. It is a dated publisher estimate, not a verified current balance sheet. GOBankingRates’ 2023 roundup
Shirley Temple $30 million, GOBankingRates, April 2023 Separately, Celebrity Net Worth estimates Temple’s wealth at death at $30 million. Neither figure is an estate inventory or an audited accounting. GOBankingRates’ 2023 roundup; Celebrity Net Worth profile
Macaulay Culkin $30 million, LoveMoney, August 2026 This is LoveMoney’s reported estimate; the roundup says figures are courtesy of Celebrity Net Worth unless otherwise stated. LoveMoney’s 2026 roundup
Daniel Radcliffe (alternative estimates) $110 million, GOBankingRates, April 2023; $110 million and $120 million displayed on Celebrity Net Worth’s 2026 profile The same Celebrity Net Worth page shows two different amounts, while GOBankingRates’ earlier estimate differs from LoveMoney’s 2026 figure. These are not official disclosures and should not be averaged into a purported precise value. GOBankingRates’ 2023 roundup; Celebrity Net Worth profile

Radcliffe appears twice in the table to make the disagreement among estimates visible, not because he represents two people in a seven-person ranking. The evidence here establishes only five distinct names, not a substantiated group of seven. Adding two names without an attributable estimate would imply a completeness the available figures cannot support.

Why rankings of child-star wealth disagree

  • Estimates are not audited disclosures. These publishers do not establish the figures through public financial statements or a transparent, independently verifiable calculation.
  • Different dates and publishers produce different numbers. GOBankingRates’ 2023 estimate for Radcliffe was $110 million; LoveMoney reported $120 million in August 2026. Celebrity Net Worth’s 2026 profile itself displays both $110 million and $120 million.
  • “Child star” describes an early career, not one source of wealth. Some people continued acting as adults; others also pursued business or other work. The cited estimates do not separate those contributions into comparable amounts.
  • A figure for someone who has died is not automatically an estate value. Temple’s $30 million estimate at death from Celebrity Net Worth is not supported here by an estate inventory.

What this list can—and cannot—tell you

It can show the scale of estimates that entertainment and financial publishers have attached to several former child performers, alongside the publishers and dates behind those numbers. It cannot establish a reliable order of the seven wealthiest, prove what any individual is currently worth, or compare acting income with business wealth. Treat each amount as a source-specific estimate rather than a fact about someone’s verified finances.
