Six boxers appeared on Sportico’s 2024 list of the world’s 100 highest-paid athletes: Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, Canelo Alvarez, Anthony Joshua, Jake Paul and Naoya Inoue. The figures, reported by MMA Fighting on February 12, 2025, are estimated total earnings—not audited income—and include salary plus estimated endorsement and sponsorship income. The list is a 2024 edition, not a live ranking; Sportico’s 2025 list, reported in January 2026, included four boxers.
Which six boxers made Sportico’s 2024 top 100?
Here are the boxers’ overall positions and reported totals on Sportico’s 2024 earnings list, as relayed by MMA Fighting:

The totals and ranks are those reported by MMA Fighting for Sportico’s 2024 list; they should be read as estimates, not verified personal financial statements. MMA Fighting’s report says Sportico’s list combines salary with estimates for endorsements and sponsorships.
What the earnings figures do—and do not—mean
The amounts are reported total earnings estimates. They are not a guaranteed purse for a single bout, a measure of career earnings, or a disclosed audited breakdown of each athlete’s income. Because the cited report describes salary alongside estimated endorsement and sponsorship income, the totals combine more than fight pay.

Forbes published a separate 2025 list. Forbes Australia reported Fury at No. 3 with $146 million and specified a tracking period of May 1, 2024, to May 1, 2025. That is distinct from Sportico’s list and its reported figures. Differences in publisher and measurement period mean the Forbes amount should not be treated as a correction to Sportico’s 2024 figure or combined with Sportico’s totals. Forbes Australia’s 2025 list states its tracking period.
