SoldBrick says the figures include shipping.
The five highest resale medians in this ranking
SoldBrick’s figures are a time-bounded snapshot: its eBay sold-comps data was refreshed in June 2026 and is regularly recomputed. Each number below is the best-condition headline median, not a record sale or a guaranteed price for a particular copy.

What “sold for” means here
Completed-sale medians, not listings or auction records
SoldBrick says it ranks completed eBay sales rather than asking prices or modeled book values. A median describes the middle of the relevant sold-price data; it does not mean that every copy sold for that amount, or that a seller will receive it. The figures include shipping. SoldBrick also says sellers may net roughly 13% less after eBay fees; that is its general guidance, not a universal fee schedule or a calculation of any seller’s proceeds.

Condition changes the comparison
The table uses SoldBrick’s headline median for its best-condition category. Its set pages divide sales into sealed, used-complete, and incomplete condition categories. A sealed copy, a complete used set, and an incomplete set are not interchangeable comparisons, so check the condition category and the actual contents before using a headline median to assess a specific set.
The scope excludes ultra-rare promotional sets
This is a ranking of tracked retail sets with enough genuine transactions to support a median. SoldBrick excludes employee gifts, convention exclusives, VIP-event sets, and one-off promotions because too few sales make their market values unreliable. Consequently, the table is not a definitive ranking of every LEGO product ever made or every rare set that has changed hands.

Resale leader versus the most expensive set LEGO sold at retail
“Most expensive” can refer to different markets. SoldBrick’s table compares secondhand transaction medians. A separate May 2026 retail-price ranking by Brick Fanatics identifies Death Star #75419 as the costliest released set in that ranking, at a US MSRP of $999.99; it also lists £899.99 in the UK and €999.99 in the euro zone. Those are original retail prices, not resale medians. See Brick Fanatics’ May 2026 ranking.
The LEGO Group’s product overview says Death Star #75419 has 9,023 pieces and was the largest LEGO Star Wars set when it launched in October 2025. That is product-size context, not evidence of its secondhand value or a source for its MSRP. The LEGO Group’s overview of its biggest sets also gives piece counts for other large models, including Sagrada Família at 12,060 pieces.

How to use these figures when valuing a set
- Match the exact set number and condition; a similarly named set or a different completeness category can have a different market.
- Use completed sales rather than active listing prices when estimating what buyers have paid.
- Treat the June 2026 medians as a dated market reference, not an appraisal, a current guaranteed offer, or seller take-home income.
- Decide which question you mean: resale median, original retail MSRP, or highest single transaction. They produce different rankings.
