There is no verified list of golf skirts selected or endorsed by professional golfers in the available evidence. A useful alternative is MyGolfSpy’s 2026 account of five skorts its author, a scratch golfer and former teaching professional, wore through a summer of golf. These are her personal picks—not tour-player recommendations or a universal ranking.
Five golf skorts from a golfer’s wear test
MyGolfSpy author Brittany Olizarowicz said these five skorts remained in her rotation after a summer of golf. She wore a size small in each, so her fit observations should not be treated as a guarantee for other body types. Product details and prices below are as reported in the cited 2026 articles; check current retailer listings for availability and pricing.
1. Sun Day Red Icon Skort
Olizarowicz chose the Navy Blazer color and described it as versatile and still looking new after the summer. The brand lists a 15-inch back length. Features include built-in shorts, a phone pocket, a zippered back pocket, and high-stretch, high-recovery performance fabric. This is a practical option if you want a valuables pocket as well as a place for your phone. Source: MyGolfSpy, August 31, 2026.
2. Fairway & Greene Carrie Skort
This is the more polished-looking option in the author’s rotation. MyGolfSpy reports a 15.5-inch length for size small and describes the fabric as moisture-wicking stretch with UPF 50+ protection. The author liked its added weight for early fall and spring, making it a consideration for cooler shoulder-season rounds rather than only hot-weather golf. The UPF figure is a reported apparel specification, not independent test data. Source: MyGolfSpy, August 31, 2026.

3. Greyson 15-inch Phoenix Skirt
The Phoenix is a shorter, closer-fitting, mid-rise performance skirt with an athletic look. The author said it held up through hot rounds. MyGolfSpy reported a price of $110 at publication in August 2026; treat that as a historical price, not a current quote. Source: MyGolfSpy, August 31, 2026.
4. AndersonOrd Ultimate Skort
This was the author’s most-worn piece during the summer, including for golf, practice, pickleball, and beach wear. Its drawstring waist and casual styling make it the most crossover-oriented pick in this group. MyGolfSpy reported $85 for the Dutch Canal colorway at publication in August 2026; confirm the current price and color availability before buying. Source: MyGolfSpy, August 31, 2026.
5. Zero Restriction Skye Performance Skort
The author wore the white version through summer and said it still looked good. The product is described as moisture-wicking stretch with UPF 50+, a cooling feel, attached shorts, and side pockets. MyGolfSpy reported a price of $145 in August 2026. As with any light-colored skirt, consider how the fabric and lining look in the lighting and conditions where you expect to wear it. The Galvin Green Marielle has an 18-inch length, front pockets, stretchy quick-drying VENTIL8 PLUS fabric, and sun protection. The guide notes that the inner shorts do not have pockets. The Abacus Victoria is 17 inches long, with built-in shorts, deep side pockets, a zipped back pocket, and reported UPF 50+ protection. The guide describes its feel as soft and flowy. Both are longer options than the 15-inch designs listed in the sources, though how long a hem looks depends on your height and where the waistband sits.
For a pleated look: Under Armour Drive Pleated Women’s Skort
The guide describes it as lightweight, moisture-wicking, and equipped with deep pockets. Its reviewer found that the full-circle pleats caught the wind and interfered with putting, and that the built-in shorts were short. Those are reviewer observations, but they point to a useful fitting-room check: walk, bend, and take a putting stance before deciding a pleated style works for you.

For a shorter cut: Under Armour Drive Jacquard and FootJoy Aerial
The Under Armour Drive Jacquard is listed at 15 inches, with built-in shorts that have silicone grip. The reviewer found the shorts’ pockets less accessible than exterior pockets. The FootJoy Aerial has a fitted, short cut, built-in modesty shorts, front and back pockets, moisture-wicking fabric, and four-way stretch; its reviewer reported unrestricted swing movement.
For an A-line silhouette: PXG Saturday Pocket Skirt
This model has an A-line shape, side pockets, back box pleats, and breathable fabric. Golf Monthly notes that the gray inner shorts may show beneath the short outer skirt. The back pleat carries the embroidered line, “No one is perfect, except for a woman who plays golf.”

How to choose a golf skirt with built-in shorts
Check length and fit on your body
The named models with stated measurements range from 15 to 18 inches in the cited guides; the Carrie is listed at 15.5 inches in size small. Do not assume that a number alone tells you where the hem will fall. Check whether the brand measures the front, back, or another point, consult the size chart, and account for your height and waistband position. If you want a long golf skirt, compare the actual garment measurement and fit notes rather than relying on the product name.
Rank #4
Look at the shorts, not just the skirt
Confirm that the garment has built-in shorts if that coverage matters to you, then check their length and whether they stay put when you walk, bend, and swing. Pocket placement matters too: some skorts put pockets on the inner shorts, while others use the outer skirt. The Jacquard reviewer’s accessibility concern illustrates why an advertised pocket may not be convenient in practice.
Match pockets to what you carry
Decide whether you need an easy-to-reach phone pocket, exterior pockets for tees or a ball marker, or a zippered pocket for valuables. The Sun Day Red Icon, for example, is described with both a phone pocket and a zippered back pocket. Do not assume that every golf skort with pockets has the same number, size, or location of pockets.
Consider weather and fabric claims
Stretch, moisture management, quick drying, and UPF claims can help narrow choices for hot or sunny rounds. Treat UPF and fabric descriptions as product specifications reported by the brand or guide, not as independent laboratory findings in these articles. For cooler spring or fall rounds, a heavier-feeling fabric may be preferable to a very lightweight one.

Test pleats and swing comfort
A pleated skirt’s movement may be part of its appeal, but wind can change how it behaves on the course. If possible, test a few golf-specific movements—walking, bending, addressing a ball, and putting—while wearing the skort. The buying guide’s review of the Drive Pleated model specifically flags wind movement as a drawback.
Verify the club’s dress code
Club rules vary. Golf Digest’s May 22, 2026 search-result text gives examples of private clubs that expect skirts to extend past the fingertips when arms hang at the sides, and a few that require knee length; those are examples, not a universal standard. Ask your host or contact the club directly before relying on a particular hem length. Source: Golf Digest, May 22, 2026.

A skort combines a skirt and shorts, typically with shorts attached underneath. The term is used for garments in sports including golf and tennis. In golf, construction and pocket placement differ by model, so check the product details rather than assuming every skort provides the same coverage or storage. Source: Golf Monthly, May 28, 2026.
