Polkastarter describes IDOs as project token distributions in exchange for funding, and its documentation covers fundraising formats beyond IDOs. The platforms differ in their documented sale mechanics and participant requirements; the available information does not establish a consistent, independent basis for comparing investment outcomes.
The evidence is also uneven: Polkastarter documents participant mechanics and publishes dated activity figures; DAO Maker’s current page presents its positioning and platform-displayed project data; DuckSTARTER’s surfaced participation instructions date to 2023; and “Launchpad” could refer to more than one service.

Polkastarter: the clearest documented participation mechanics
Polkastarter describes itself as a decentralized platform connecting projects with early community members. Its documentation says projects can create fixed-price token swap pools and describes fundraising beyond IDOs. The company’s year-end retrospective, published December 31, 2025 and updated August 6, 2026, reports 17 IDOs delivered during 2025. That is a company-published activity figure, not an independent audit or a measure of sale quality.

For participants, the documentation describes POLS Power as affecting the chance of access to IDOs and NFT sales. It counts POLS held in a wallet and staked POLS; allowlisting and KYC may also apply. DAO Maker: company positioning and platform-displayed history
DAO Maker currently presents itself with the headline “The Launchpad For Real Founders.” Its page displays historical project names, raise figures and ATH multiples. These are the company’s presentation and platform data; an ATH multiple is a historical peak figure, not a typical outcome, a realized return for every buyer or a forecast. The surfaced page does not fully specify current sale eligibility or participation procedures.

DuckSTARTER: instructions are dated
DuckSTARTER’s official support instructions, modified December 21, 2023, describe a flow requiring DD staking, KYC and a whitelist for each sale, with an exception for Champion-tier users. Because those instructions are dated, they should not be treated as proof that the same tiers, requirements or sale activity apply today. Confirm current operation and the rules for a specific sale before acquiring or staking a token for access.
“Launchpad”: identify the service before comparing it
“Launchpad” is not a sufficiently precise product name. Launchpad XYZ is one possible match: its terms identify an Ethereum platform operated by AQUTRON TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. That does not establish that Launchpad XYZ is the service intended by the title, or make its services directly comparable to the other three. Do not treat it as a confirmed fourth option without identifying the exact platform.

How to check eligibility for an IDO
There is no universal whitelist process across these platforms. Use the following checks for the specific sale you are considering:
- Identify the exact platform and sale. Use the platform’s official project or sale listing; do not rely on the generic word “Launchpad” or an old support page to establish that a sale is live.
- Read that sale’s current participation rules. Check whether it requires a platform token, staking, a particular tier, an application or allowlisting. For Polkastarter, POLS Power may affect access, but it does not by itself establish guaranteed allocation.
- Confirm verification and geographic eligibility. Check whether KYC is required and whether the sale excludes participants in your location. The available platform information does not establish one set of geographic rules that applies to all four.
- Check timing and allocation terms. Confirm the whitelist window, sale dates, how allocation is determined, accepted payment method and any claim or vesting schedule from the sale’s current official terms. Do not infer these details from another project’s sale.
- Recheck immediately before participating. Platform mechanics and sale conditions can change. If current rules or active status cannot be confirmed, do not assume that older instructions remain valid.
What the evidence does—and does not—say about performance and risk
The available figures are not a like-for-like performance comparison. Polkastarter’s 17 IDOs is a company-reported count for 2025. DAO Maker’s page displays project raises and ATH multiples, but those historical figures are not evidence of what a future participant will earn. No consistent independent publisher’s performance measure across all four platforms is established here.
Nor does a platform’s own description establish that it is safe. Project selection, sale format, participant eligibility and the evidence published by each service differ. Token-sale access is not a guarantee of liquidity, listing, or profit; a historical peak price does not establish that participants could sell at that price.
