Litepips is marketed as an Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 4 that trades XAU/USD—gold priced in U.S. dollars—on the H1 (one-hour) timeframe. Its “24/7” language describes the vendor’s monitoring claims, not proof of continuous forex-market availability, guaranteed uptime, or profitable results. The available coverage is promotional or contributor content, not an independent performance audit.
What Litepips is—and what its claims establish
Avenix Fzco presents Litepips as an automated trading tool for MetaTrader 4 users, focused on XAUUSD trading on the H1 timeframe. The exact-title GeekWire article described those same core details in October 2024; a later Avenix press release hosted by FXStreet also describes the product. FXStreet-hosted Avenix release (March 24, 2025); GeekWire contributor article (October 16, 2024).
The materials use terms such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, indicators, price-action analysis, pattern recognition, and adaptation. These are vendor descriptions; the sources do not provide an independently verified technical specification demonstrating how the strategy works. GeekWire identifies its article as contributor content and says its newsroom and editorial staff were not involved in creating it. The later FXStreet and GlobeNewswire items are company press releases, not independent tests.
What “24/7” means here
The FXStreet-hosted Avenix release calls Litepips’ monitoring “24/7” and “round-the-clock.” By contrast, an excerpt from Litepips’ official product page describes operation during standard 24/5 market hours. Neither claim establishes independently measured uptime or a service-level guarantee. The wording should not be read as saying that forex markets trade continuously every day: the sources reviewed do not establish that, and Litepips’ own excerpt uses a 24/5 description.

#1 Best Overall
Avenix’s release says the bot’s “24/7 market vigilance” eliminates missed opportunities due to time zones or trading fatigue. That is promotional language, not evidence that trades will be available, executed at a particular price, or profitable. Avenix’s statement, hosted by FXStreet.
Backtesting is not a verified live track record
The GeekWire contributor article says Litepips offers backtesting, performance reporting, and customizable stop-loss and take-profit settings. Those features, even if available as described, do not show how the EA performs in live trading. Backtesting evaluates a strategy against historical data; its results depend on the data, assumptions, costs, and test setup, and cannot establish future returns. Forward testing and independently verified live results answer different questions.

Babypips’ educational checklist—published as sponsored content—recommends evaluating trading bots for transparent logic, risk management, testing, customization, and verified performance. Those are useful due-diligence categories, not confirmation that Litepips meets them. Babypips, “5 Features Every Reliable Trading Bot Should Have”.
What to check before considering an EA
- Strategy transparency: Ask what rules trigger entries and exits, and what “AI” or adaptation means in operational terms.
- Risk controls: Confirm whether stop-loss and take-profit settings are configurable, how position size is determined, and what happens during adverse price moves or interruptions.
- Testing evidence: Request test assumptions and results, then distinguish historical backtests from forward tests and independently verified live performance.
- Execution conditions: Check broker compatibility, spreads, slippage, and whether the claimed operating schedule matches your setup. The reviewed materials do not establish a supported-broker list or uptime service level.
- Costs and terms: Verify the current price, license conditions, renewal or refund terms, and support commitments directly before paying.
- Regulatory context: Establish what company or service you are dealing with and whether any relevant authorization applies in your jurisdiction. The reviewed sources do not establish Litepips’ regulatory status.
These checks matter because an EA’s settings and marketing description do not remove trading risk. Automated execution can act consistently with its programmed rules, but that alone does not make those rules effective or appropriate for an individual account.
Claims that remain unverified
A Litepips-submitted GlobeNewswire release dated April 19, 2025, says that an estimated 92% of forex trades are executed by algorithms. The reviewed release does not identify the original study or dataset, so the figure should be treated as the company’s estimate rather than a verified market-wide statistic. The reviewed materials do not establish Litepips’ current price, license terms, vendor support commitments, independently audited profitability, regulatory authorization, or guaranteed uptime. Those details should be confirmed directly and assessed for your location and circumstances; their absence is not evidence that any particular term or status applies.
