1PrimeOptions Review: Scam or Legit?

Avoid 1PrimeOptions. Spain’s securities regulator, the CNMV, warned on January 18, 2021, that 1primeoptions.com and Global Options Ltd. were not authorized to provide investment services. No evidence was found that the warning was withdrawn or that the platform later obtained recognized financial authorization. “Scam” is a practical risk conclusion, not a court finding.

The platform advertises binary-options-style trading, but its claimed Marshall Islands company registration and positive reviews do not establish that it is a regulated broker. Given the official warning and reported withdrawal complaints, do not deposit funds or upload identity documents.

What is 1PrimeOptions?

1PrimeOptions’ FAQ describes a binary-options-style product. A trader chooses whether an asset’s price will rise or fall and selects an expiry period. The platform advertises returns of up to 85% and more than 170 assets, including stocks, currencies, commodities, indices, and cryptocurrencies, according to its FAQ.

  • Call: a prediction that the asset price will rise.
  • Put: a prediction that the asset price will fall.
  • Expiry: the trade closes after the selected period.

The platform’s example says a $100 trade at a 72% profit rate could produce $172 if successful. That is not a 72% expected return: a losing trade can forfeit the stake, so the payout percentage must be assessed against the probability of winning. The SEC’s Investor.gov guidance describes risks reported by binary-options customers, including refused withdrawals, additional deposit demands, ignored communications, and identity-document collection.

Is 1PrimeOptions regulated?

The most important fact in this review is the official CNMV warning dated January 18, 2021. It identifies 1primeoptions.com and Global Options Ltd. as unauthorized to provide investment services covered by Spain’s Securities Market Law, including services involving foreign currencies. The Dutch regulator, the AFM, published a warning page on June 29, 2021 that links to the CNMV warning.

No current authorization from the FCA, SEC, CFTC, FINRA, or another comparable top-tier regulator was verified during this review. The SEC advises investors not to trade with, send money to, or provide personal information to a binary-options firm whose registration cannot be verified.

Global Options Ltd. and the Marshall Islands registration

1PrimeOptions identifies its operator as Global Options Ltd., allegedly incorporated in the Republic of the Marshall Islands under business-company number 118183.

A corporate registration is not a financial-services license. The Marshall Islands Registry provides corporate and registered-agent services and an entity-search function; those services do not establish authorization to offer securities, foreign exchange, derivatives, or binary options. The claimed registration does not overcome the CNMV’s finding that the company and website were unauthorized to provide the relevant investment services in Spain.

Deposits, withdrawals, and platform rules

According to 1PrimeOptions’ FAQ, deposits and withdrawals use Bitcoin, and account verification is required before withdrawals. These are the platform’s stated rules, not an independent guarantee that funds can be withdrawn.

Feature Platform’s stated rule
Minimum deposit $30
Minimum trade $1
Payment method Bitcoin only
Estimated deposit crediting Approximately 30 minutes to three hours
Suggested minimum withdrawal $15
Withdrawal processing 24–72 business hours, Monday through Friday, after user and wallet confirmation
Customer-service hours Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. GMT−5

The platform describes these withdrawal steps:

  1. Log in to the real account.
  2. Open the profile using “área segura del cliente.”
  3. Select “retiro de fondos.”
  4. Enter the amount and select “retirar.”
  5. Select “Continuar” in the confirmation box.
  6. Wait for an email requesting the destination Bitcoin wallet.

Its stated deposit process is:

  1. Log in to the real account and open “área segura del cliente.”
  2. Select “depositar,” enter the amount, and select “depositar.”
  3. Copy the displayed amount and wallet address into your Bitcoin wallet.

Bitcoin transactions sent to the wrong address generally cannot be reversed through a bank or card provider. The platform itself warns that an incorrect wallet address can result in funds being sent elsewhere.

KYC requirements and an inconsistency

The FAQ says users must submit at least one current identity document: a passport, national identity card, or driver’s license. After cumulative deposits exceed $1,000, it says users must also provide proof of residence, such as a bank statement or utility bill. The stated rules require documents to match the account holder’s name and have an issue or expiry date no more than six months old.

The FAQ also says, “We do not accept documents issued by the United States or Canada,” while its country selector includes both countries. A person may therefore be able to register or provide contact details but be unable to satisfy the platform’s stated verification rules.

The separate GlobalOptions KYC policy says withdrawals cannot be processed without requested documentation. It requests identity and residence documents and, where a credit card was used, a copy of the card with the CVV hidden. For an unregulated platform subject to a regulator warning, sending identity or financial documents adds privacy and identity-theft risks.

What users report about withdrawals

Withdrawal problems are the most significant recurring complaint pattern in the current user-review material. The Trustpilot page displayed allegations of unprocessed or refused withdrawals, unanswered support emails, and delays after requests to change wallet addresses or account details. Examples included a July 14, 2026 complaint alleging an unprocessed withdrawal and a May 2026 complaint alleging initial refusal. These are user allegations, not independently adjudicated findings.

The platform’s stated process involves verification, a Bitcoin wallet confirmation, and a processing window of up to 72 business hours, excluding weekends. Those conditions do not guarantee withdrawal. The CFTC’s general warning describes patterns reported at unregistered binary-options websites, including fake account gains, withdrawal delays, additional-fee demands, and “double down” pitches to recover losses. Those descriptions do not prove that every tactic occurred at 1PrimeOptions.

Does the Trustpilot score prove legitimacy?

No. When checked, Trustpilot displayed approximately 1,625 reviews, a 4.8/5 score, 92% five-star reviews, and 2% one-star reviews. Trustpilot states that it does not fact-check review claims; it also showed that 1PrimeOptions had no recent history of asking customers for reviews. These figures describe the profile at the time checked, not licensing or safety.

A high review score cannot establish that the company holds a financial-services license, segregates or protects customer funds, executes trades fairly, is solvent, or lets all customers withdraw. Positive reviews do not cancel an official regulatory warning.

Other operational warning signs

The platform’s public pages are primarily in Spanish, although its registration form includes a broad international country list. The FAQ contains inconsistent or unfinished material, including duplicated country-payment entries. Its app page includes generic testimonial text using the name “Agatha Smith” and wording such as “That APP is awesome”; the page does not establish that this is a verified customer testimonial.

The app page describes installation as a web application through Microsoft Edge, not as evidence of independent software oversight, exchange access, or regulatory approval:

  1. Open the 1PrimeOptions login page.
  2. Click the settings icon in the upper-right corner.
  3. Select “aplicaciones.”
  4. Select “instalar aplicación.”
  5. Save it as “1PrimeOptions.”
  6. Click “INSTALAR.”

1PrimeOptions: final assessment

Question Finding
Does the website operate? Its public pages remain accessible.
What does it advertise? Binary-options-style Call/Put trades and other instruments.
Who does it name as operator? Global Options Ltd., Marshall Islands business number 118183.
Does that company number prove licensing? No. Corporate registration is not financial authorization.
Has a regulator warned about it? Yes. The CNMV warned on January 18, 2021 that it was unauthorized.
Are withdrawals guaranteed? No. The platform states a 24–72-business-hour process subject to verification and wallet confirmation.
Are withdrawal complaints present? Yes, including recent Trustpilot complaints, though they are not independently adjudicated.
Should consumers deposit or submit documents? No. The evidence warrants avoiding the platform.

1PrimeOptions should not be treated as a legitimate regulated broker. The CNMV warning carries more weight than the platform’s claims, offshore company number, or Trustpilot score. The combination of Bitcoin-only payments, identity-document requirements, inconsistent rules, and current withdrawal complaints makes the risk unjustified.

FAQ

Is 1PrimeOptions a legitimate broker?

The available evidence does not support calling it a legitimate regulated broker. The CNMV warned that 1primeoptions.com and Global Options Ltd. were unauthorized to provide investment services. Treat the platform as an unregulated, high-risk operation.

Is 1PrimeOptions a proven scam?

The regulatory warning and user allegations about withdrawals are not the same as a court’s final legal finding of fraud. From a consumer-risk perspective, however, the evidence is sufficient to recommend avoiding it.

Can I withdraw money from 1PrimeOptions?

The platform says withdrawals take 24–72 business hours after verification and Bitcoin-wallet confirmation. User reviews include allegations of delayed or refused withdrawals, and there is no independent guarantee that a customer will recover funds.

Does Marshall Islands registration mean Global Options Ltd. is regulated?

No. A corporate registration is not a license to provide forex, securities, derivatives, or binary-options services. The CNMV specifically found the company unauthorized for the relevant investment services in Spain.

Should I upload my passport or proof of address?

No. The platform requires identity documents and may require residence documents, but providing sensitive information to an unregulated platform creates unnecessary privacy and identity-theft risk.

What should I do if I already deposited money?

Do not send more money for a withdrawal, tax, insurance, verification, or recovery fee. Preserve transaction IDs, wallet addresses, emails, and screenshots. Contact the crypto exchange or payment provider used, and report the platform to your financial regulator and relevant consumer-protection or law-enforcement agency.
