Many agreements stay private, and the most entertaining examples often come from lawyers describing unnamed clients or from unconfirmed media reports. The examples below are ranked by how specifically they are documented—not presented as 15 proven contract terms.
What makes a celebrity prenup story credible?
A prenup is an agreement made before marriage. It is not the same as a postnup, a divorce settlement, or an attorney’s anecdote about a clause drafted for an unidentified client. Celebrity agreements are especially difficult to verify: the Associated Press reported that high-profile prenups often include confidentiality provisions, while The Knot notes that legal proceedings and agreements are commonly kept out of public view.
This list therefore distinguishes public comments, attorney recollections, and secondary reports. The underlying agreements for the celebrity-specific financial claims below are not supplied by the reporting, so those terms remain unverified.
Attorney-recalled lifestyle clauses
The first examples come from divorce attorneys interviewed by AP/CBS in December 2005 and CNN that same month. The attorneys described clauses they had encountered or drafted; the reporting does not establish that these belonged to named celebrities.

5. Required sex five to six times a week

Celebrity-specific clauses reported but not verified
The following claims were published by Celebrity Net Worth in 2017, but the article did not provide the agreements or court records supporting the specific terms. They should be treated as reported claims, not authenticated contract language.
13. Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan’s reported weekly date time
Evidence: secondary media report; agreement not supplied. Celebrity Net Worth reported that the couple’s prenup required a weekly date and 100 minutes of alone time. Neither a public copy of the agreement nor confirmation by the couple is identified in that report.
14. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s alleged sobriety incentive
Evidence: secondary media report; agreement not supplied. Celebrity Net Worth reported in 2017 that Urban could receive $600,000 per year in connection with staying sober. The figure and condition are unverified. The Standard repeated the alleged clause in 2025; Offit Kurman discussed it in January 2026 as a reported example, not as a court finding. The Standard said the divorce filing implied a prenup because each party would retain their own assets, but that inference does not verify this specific term.
15. Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake’s alleged infidelity payment
Evidence: secondary media report; agreement not supplied. Celebrity Net Worth reported a $500,000 amount associated with an alleged infidelity clause. The article does not supply contract text or a court record confirming that the clause existed.

Other widely repeated claims that do not make the verified list
Celebrity Net Worth also reported in 2017 that Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s agreement included $5 million per child, $10 million if the marriage ended before two years, and $1 million per year up to 15 years. The article did not provide the agreement, so those amounts are claims, not established terms. They are omitted from the numbered list rather than treated as confirmed facts.
What celebrities have said publicly about prenups
Public statements are stronger evidence of a person’s stated views than anonymous claims about private contract terms, but they do not prove the contents of an agreement. In February 2014, Gabrielle Union told Arsenio Hall, as quoted by The Knot: “The biggest difference between this and the last marriage will be a prenup—at my insistence.” She added, “It’s the wave of the future, protecting your stuff.” Dwyane Wade later described signing an agreement as a way to protect each partner’s own assets and work.
Are lifestyle clauses in prenups enforceable?
Not automatically. Felder told CNN, “The courts don’t enforce it, they don’t want to micromanage people’s lives, but yet people want to do it.” That is an attorney’s general observation, not a universal rule or ruling on any particular agreement. Whether a provision is enforceable depends on governing law and the facts. Offit Kurman’s January 2026 commentary likewise says conduct-based financial terms sit at the intersection of contract law, family law, and public policy and may draw court scrutiny; it is law-firm commentary, not a court decision.
A lifestyle clause can be attention-grabbing without being a dependable way to control a partner’s behavior. Anyone considering a prenup should get advice from a qualified family-law attorney in the relevant jurisdiction, especially before relying on a provision tied to personal conduct.
