Archive check: These were U.S. offers reported by Android Central on December 30, 2024, not a live 2026 shopping list. Prices, inventory, seller status and eligibility may have changed or disappeared. Use the roundup as historical context, and verify every current offer before paying.
The biggest apparent phone bargains had strings attached: the $299 Pixel 9 required a year of Mint Mobile service, while AT&T’s $5.99-per-month Razr Plus promotion required a new line and an eligible unlimited plan. Straight discounts on products such as the Galaxy A35, Garmin epix Pro and Sony WH-1000XM5 were easier to understand, but several items were already older generations.
The original roundup is archived at Android Central’s December 30, 2024 deal guide. The figures below are its reported prices, not verified current prices.

Phones: the headline prices were not equivalent
Pixel 9 at Mint Mobile
The reported $299 price applied to a Pixel 9 128GB purchased with a year of Mint Mobile service. Android Central described the combined phone-and-service cost as $479 after a 50%-off Unlimited-plan promotion. That is a service bundle, not an unlocked $299 phone. Plan duration, taxes, activation, port-in rules, trade-in conditions and cancellation terms must be checked on the current Mint listing at Mint Mobile’s device page. Google still maintains a Pixel 9 product page, but its existence does not confirm the old bundle: Google Pixel 9.
Buy if: you already want prepaid service for the required period and the current all-in total beats an unlocked alternative. Skip if: you need a phone-only price or may cancel service early.
Razr Plus (2024) through AT&T
The $5.99 monthly figure was reported under an AT&T promotion requiring a new line and eligible unlimited plan, with no trade-in stated. Monthly pricing can represent 24- or 36-month financing with bill credits rather than a reduced checkout price. Add taxes, activation, the recurring line charge and the remaining device balance if you leave before credits finish. The phone may also remain locked while financing or plan conditions apply.
Rank #2
- Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme (0.25 oz)
- Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream (0.30 oz)
- Shea Butter Hand Repair Creme (0.49 oz)
- Cotton gloves
Buy if: you genuinely need an additional AT&T line and will keep it through the credit schedule. Skip if: the new monthly service costs more than the phone savings.
Razr Plus (2023) at Amazon
The reported $549.99 price was a straightforward 256GB discount, but the model was already a generation old. Confirm whether inventory is new, refurbished or open-box, who the marketplace seller is, what U.S. warranty applies and how much software support remains.
Galaxy A35 5G
The 128GB Galaxy A35 was reported at $324.99. Verify the exact regional model, supported bands, eSIM or physical-SIM configuration, VoLTE/5G certification, storage and warranty. Android Central cited a four-year software-update commitment in its original coverage; confirm the current Samsung policy for the exact model before relying on that figure.

RedMagic 9S Pro
The reported $618 price targeted gaming buyers. RedMagic phones can have unusual band support, carrier-certification limitations, weaker cameras and less predictable U.S. after-sales service than mainstream models. Check your carrier’s compatibility database using the exact model number before ordering, and confirm where warranty repairs are handled.
Wearables: fit, phone compatibility and subscriptions decide value
Garmin epix Pro (Gen 2), 51mm
At a reported $749.99, the epix Pro made sense mainly for buyers who use advanced training metrics, maps and a large AMOLED display. A 51mm case is substantial; measure wrist fit and weigh battery expectations against newer Garmin models before buying.
Galaxy Watch 7, 40mm
The reported $239.99 price applied to the 40mm model. Check whether it is Wi-Fi/Bluetooth or LTE, which carrier supports LTE activation and whether your phone meets Samsung’s requirements. The full experience is designed for Android, especially Samsung phones; iPhone buyers should not assume compatibility.

Pixel Watch 3, 41mm
The reported $299.99 price did not remove the need to choose Wi-Fi or LTE and to account for Fitbit-related features or subscriptions. Compare the exact configuration on Google’s pages: Pixel Watch 3 product page and configuration page. Pixel and Fitbit users are the natural audience; iPhone owners should look elsewhere.

Galaxy Tab S9, 256GB
The reported $669.99 price was for a 256GB Tab S9. Confirm Wi-Fi versus cellular, whether an S Pen is included, keyboard compatibility and the remaining support period. Compare with newer Galaxy Tab generations; a large percentage discount can still be poor value if a successor offers materially longer support.
Pixel Tablet, 256GB
At a reported $379, the key question was configuration: tablet alone versus a package with the charging-speaker dock. Those are materially different values. Confirm storage, included dock, accessories, return policy and current software support before comparing it with newer tablets.

Meta Quest 3S, 256GB
The reported bundle included a $30 account credit, three months of Meta Quest+ and Batman: Arkham Shadow, plus a stated one-year warranty. Credits, subscriptions and games are not cash; they may require a Meta account, have redemption deadlines or renew at a charge. Check storage, play-space requirements, parental controls and required software updates.
Sony WH-1000XM5
The reported $298 price was more than $100 below the stated reference price. Compare current successor and Bose pricing, then verify seller, condition, warranty and return terms. A lower price on an older flagship is not automatically the best total value.
Jabra Elite 4 Active
The reported $69.99 price was attractive for an older sport earbud, but product availability, firmware support and replacement parts may be limited. Buy only when the listing clearly identifies condition, seller and U.S. warranty.
Razer Kishi V2 Pro
The reported $94.98 controller fits only phones whose USB-C port position, dimensions and camera bump clear the grips. Check case removal requirements, Android version, headphone-jack needs and support in each game you play.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Echo Dot
The reported $22.99 price was the simplest offer. It is useful for an Alexa household with compatible Wi-Fi smart-home devices, but requires an Amazon account and cloud-connected voice processing. Consider privacy preferences before treating it as an impulse buy.
How to check whether an old deal is safe to buy
- Open the retailer or manufacturer’s current product page; do not rely on an old link or search snippet.
- Match model number, storage, color, size and cellular/Wi-Fi variant.
- Identify whether the seller is first-party, marketplace, refurbished or open-box.
- Calculate checkout price plus tax, shipping, activation, membership or required service.
- For carrier offers, total every monthly line charge and device installment through the final bill credit.
- Read unlock, trade-in, cancellation, return and warranty terms.
- Check carrier bands and certification for phones and LTE watches.
- Confirm bundle redemption dates and any subscription renewal price.
- Compare the older model with its successor and current alternatives.
- Save the offer terms and promised price before submitting payment.
Risk-adjusted winners and skips
- Best straightforward discount candidate: Galaxy A35 5G, if the exact U.S. model and current support meet your needs.
- Best carrier-promotion candidate: Razr Plus (2024), only for someone already adding an AT&T line.
- Best fitness specialist: Garmin epix Pro for mapping and training, not casual smartwatch use.
- Best Android ecosystem watch: Galaxy Watch 7 for a compatible Android phone after choosing the correct size and LTE status.
- Best VR bundle candidate: Quest 3S, provided every bonus is still redeemable.
- Most misleading if presented without context: the Pixel 9 at $299 and Razr Plus at $5.99 per month, because required service and financing determine the real cost.
- Most compatibility-sensitive: RedMagic 9S Pro and Razer Kishi V2 Pro.
- Most likely to be clearance inventory: Razr Plus (2023), Jabra Elite 4 Active and Echo Dot.
For current promotions, use official pages such as Google Store offers, Google phones, Samsung, Meta Quest and the relevant manufacturer or carrier site. Do not assume a December 2024 price, seller or return policy survives into 2026.
