Tracking a new NFT project is easy. Deciding whether its activity represents genuine demand, a short-lived mint rush, wash trading, or a paid listing is much harder.
The tools below cover four different jobs: finding upcoming mints, measuring marketplace momentum, investigating wallets, and creating custom alerts. No “trending” list is universal. Rankings may be based on sales volume, transaction count, recent acceleration, mint activity, wallet behavior, or editorial curation.
Use these services as research and monitoring tools—not as proof that a project is authentic, profitable, or suitable for your risk tolerance. Before connecting a wallet, verify the official website, contract address, chain, mint price, supply, royalty terms, and transaction permissions.
How to choose an NFT tracking tool
Start with the question you are trying to answer:

When reviewing a project, compare several measures. A high floor price with only a handful of transactions is weaker evidence than activity involving many buyers and sellers, rising holder counts, and consistent volume across more than one marketplace.

1. OpenSea Stats
Best for: Broad collection discovery across supported chains.
Go to OpenSea sidebar → Collections or Tokens under Stats. In Collections, you can filter by category, chain, floor price, top offer, verification status, branded collection page, and metadata storage type.
Select Trending to find collections with recent activity spikes and sustained activity. Use Top for cumulative volume and sales instead. Open a collection and choose Analytics to compare volume, sales, floor price, average price, listings, and floor-price changes over 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, 1 year, or all time.
OpenSea volume can include SeaDrop minting as well as secondary sales, so it may not be directly comparable with a dashboard counting only secondary-market trades. A new token may also require searching by contract address before it appears in search or statistics. Activity alone does not verify authenticity; check the project’s official website and social accounts.

2. OpenSea Drops
Best for: Upcoming and live drops hosted on OpenSea.
OpenSea’s left-hand menu contains Drops. A drop page may show the creator, social links, mint schedule, sample images, live mints, and secondary sales. You can sign up for email reminders or add the event, including presale dates, to a calendar.
This is a curated discovery service, not a complete launch directory. Creating a Drop does not guarantee calendar placement. Upcoming allowlisted mints are shown when the creator is verified, while other projects generally need to be featured. Also, if inventory sells out while your transaction is processing, the mint can fail even though you still pay network gas.
3. Magic Eden Mint Terminal
Best for: Monitoring live and trending mints across supported EVM networks.

- Choose a blockchain and select Trending to find collections with the highest real-time minting activity.
- Switch to Live Feed to watch recent mints as they happen.
- Use filters for holders, mint price, mint status, edition type, platform, percentage minted, and total supply.
- On a collection page, review the floor price, last secondary purchase, highest offer, and live activity stream. Select the star to add the collection to a watchlist; watchlisted collections appear under the homepage’s watchlist tab.
The watchlist applies to NFT collections, not every asset type on the platform.

Blur’s Trending and Top tables show floor price, one-day and seven-day changes, one-day and seven-day volume, owners, and supply. Use Activity to inspect recent marketplace actions and compare short-term floor movement with owner counts.
Blur is marketplace-centric. A collection can be busy on OpenSea or another venue while looking quiet on Blur. For that reason, cross-check unusual movements with OpenSea, CryptoSlam, or Reservoir rather than treating a Blur ranking as a complete market view.

Best for: Solana NFT discovery and new-mint monitoring.
- Open Tensor and select Trending for current Solana collection momentum or New Mints for recently launched collections.
- Open a collection to inspect its floor, listings, bids, activity, and rarity information.
- Check how the collection is grouped: Tensor may identify it using a Metaplex Certified Collection ID, the first verified creator, or a hashlist.
The identification method can affect the displayed grouping and metadata. Confirm the creator and contract details through an official source before trading.
6. NFTGo
Best for: Short-interval sales momentum and on-chain collection analytics.
Use NFTGo → Discover → Trending. The dashboard can sort activity over intervals as short as five minutes and displays floor price, volume, sales, holders, unique-holder ratio, listed percentage, and a seven-day volume chart.
Other sections include Hot Mints, Sweeps, Whales Signals, Top Collections, Mint Analytics, Holder Analytics, Activity Analytics, Watchlist, Wash Trade Filter, and Alert.
Short windows can be distorted by one sweep or a few transactions. Check unique-holder ratio, listed percentage, holder count, and transaction history to see whether activity is broad-based.
7. CryptoSlam
Best for: Cross-chain sales rankings and market comparisons.
- Choose a period: 24 Hours, 7 Days, 30 Days, or All-Time.
- In NFT Rankings or Collection Rankings, filter by blockchain.
- Compare sales, transactions, buyers, and sellers.
- Open a collection page for historical sales volume, activity, rarity, top sales, top buyers, and top sellers where available.
Do not judge demand from sales volume alone. A project with high volume but few unique buyers and sellers deserves closer scrutiny, including the wash-trading information available on the page.

8. DappRadar NFT Rankings
Best for: Broad multi-chain rankings and collection-level data.
DappRadar’s NFT rankings cover chains including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Immutable X. Its navigation includes Rankings, Hot contracts, Alerts, and Portfolio.
Use it to compare floor price, average price, trading volume, sales volume, wallet activity, top sales, and chain-level activity. Older articles may refer to a standalone “NFT Explorer” for upcoming collections and latest mints. The current rankings pages are the safer reference point because product layouts change.
9. Nansen NFT Analytics
Best for: Studying smart-money wallets instead of relying only on marketplace volume.
Nansen’s NFT workflow includes NFT God Mode, NFT Trends & Indexes, NFT Wallet Profiler, smart-money filters, and alerts. A practical sequence is:
- Find a collection in NFT Trends & Indexes.
- Open it in NFT God Mode.
- Review Trades for current buying and selling.
- Check Balances or Balance & Changes for holder changes.
- Inspect Listings for smart-money listings and potential sell pressure.
- Use NFT Wallet Profiler for important wallets and set alerts where appropriate.
A balance increase is not automatically a purchase. Transfers, staking, airdrops, liquidity pools, and contract distributions can all change balances. Always inspect transaction history before interpreting wallet behavior.
10. Arkham Intelligence
Best for: Investigating wallets, entities, contracts, and related token activity.
Arkham lets you search tokens, addresses, and entities. Its interface includes Trending Insights, Trending Tokens, Exchange Flows, Recent Transfers, and transfer filters. You can investigate project wallets, linked entities, recent transfers, exchange activity, and wallet portfolios.

Use it after locating a project contract or wallet, and verify that the address is genuinely official before drawing conclusions. A similar-looking address or an unrelated wallet can produce a misleading investigation.
11. NFTCalendar.io
Best for: Upcoming and recently launched mints.
- Open NFTCalendar.io → Mints.
- Check Upcoming for scheduled launches and Ongoing minting for active projects.
- Use the latest-mints table’s collection name, first-mint date, latest mint time in UTC, unique minters, and total mints to compare activity.
Unique minters are particularly useful. A launch with 400 total mints from 12 wallets has a different risk profile from one with 400 mints from 300 wallets. Neither figure proves legitimacy, so verify the official mint URL and contract before connecting a wallet.

12. NFTDropList
Best for: Curated upcoming drops across several networks.
NFTDropList includes featured projects, upcoming drops, network categories, verified collections, mint schedules, and a creator-submission process. It advertises coverage for Binance Chain, Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Cardano, and Polkadot.

Use it as a calendar and lead-generation source, not as an endorsement. The site allows creator submissions and describes a paid listing process. “Featured,” “verified,” or “listed” does not automatically mean a project has passed an independent contract audit or represents a sound investment.
13. MintGo
Best for: Watching fresh activity across EVM networks, Bitcoin, Solana, and TRON.
MintGo includes Upcoming Mints, search by collection name or address, network filters, Trending, New Mints, and Runners. Project pages can show mint progress, deployer, market data, and contract analysis.
- Search by address or collection name.
- Select New Mints for recently detected launches.
- Use Runners to inspect projects meeting the displayed activity threshold.
- Review mint progress, deployer, market data, and contract analysis on the project page.
Sections may show “Loading…” or “Waiting for new mints…” when no matching activity is available. That is not evidence that a chain has no new projects.
14. Reservoir Explorer and API
Best for: Developers and advanced users who want aggregated EVM market data.
Reservoir aggregates NFT metadata and market data from major marketplaces, including OpenSea, Blur, and X2Y2. Its marketplace interface includes Collections and Mints. Its API provides collection statistics, listings, offers, floor prices, sales volume, ownership data, metadata, and real-time floor-price and top-bid events across more than 30 EVM chains.
API access requires a key. The base URL is https://api.reservoir.tools/. Reservoir’s collection attribute exploration endpoint is GET https://api.reservoir.tools/collections/{collection}/attributes/explore/v4. According to Reservoir’s API documentation, it can return token counts, on-sale counts, sample images, and floor ask data; the default limit is 20 and the maximum limit is 5,000.
Reservoir is not a universal cross-chain index; Solana, Bitcoin, and other non-EVM projects require different data sources.

15. QuickNode QuickAlerts and Webhooks
Best for: Custom alerts for mints, transfers, contract events, and marketplace activity.
Icy.tools has shut down. Its developer API moved to QuickNode’s Graph API, and NFT alert users were directed toward QuickAlerts. Do not rely on old guides that describe Icy.tools as a currently operating NFT alert dashboard.
- In QuickNode, go to Dashboard → Webhooks → Create Webhook.
- Choose a chain and select a template or write a custom filter.
- Enter a destination URL, test the filter, and activate the webhook.
Supported uses include new NFT mints, NFT transfers, marketplace activity, wallet transfers, and smart-contract events. QuickNode’s Webhooks documentation describes retries for non-200 responses, gzip compression, and reorganization handling. QuickNode prices webhooks at 30 API credits per delivered payload, so monitor usage if you are running frequent alerts or a high-volume collection filter.
A practical NFT tracking stack for 2026
- Start with OpenSea Stats for a broad marketplace view.
- Use NFTGo to check whether recent momentum persists beyond one or two transactions.
- Compare CryptoSlam for cross-chain sales, buyers, sellers, and transactions.
- Check NFTCalendar.io or NFTDropList for scheduled launches, while treating calendar placement as curation rather than verification.
- Use Magic Eden Mint Terminal for live EVM mints and Tensor for Solana new mints.
- Investigate wallets with Nansen or Arkham when a project’s activity looks unusually concentrated.
- Use Reservoir or QuickNode only when you need aggregated data, event-driven alerts, or a custom monitoring workflow.
Before spending money, run a basic verification checklist:
- Copy the contract address from an official source and compare it character by character.
- Check the chain, total supply, mint price, wallet limits, and estimated network fee.
- Look for owner concentration and whether listings are increasing faster than holders.
- Compare unique buyers and sellers with total sales volume.
- Review the deployer’s history and contract permissions where possible.
- Never sign an unfamiliar approval or connect a valuable wallet simply because a project is trending.

What is the best tool for finding new NFT projects?

Can a trending NFT project still be a scam?
Yes. Trending rankings may reflect a short burst of sales, mint activity, marketplace coverage, or curated placement. Verify the official contract, website, mint URL, deployer, wallet permissions, and transaction details independently before committing funds.

No single dashboard can tell you whether an NFT project is a good purchase. Use OpenSea, Blur, NFTGo, CryptoSlam, or DappRadar to identify activity; use NFTCalendar.io, OpenSea Drops, NFTDropList, Magic Eden, Tensor, or MintGo to find launches; and use Nansen, Arkham, Reservoir, or QuickNode when you need deeper wallet or event analysis.
The strongest discovery signal is usually agreement across independent sources: sustained activity, multiple buyers and sellers, growing holders, reasonable listing behavior, and a verified contract. Treat every ranking as a prompt for due diligence—not a buy signal.
