Travel + Leisure’s 100-item Amazon Labor Day roundup covered travel and outdoor gear—not every category on Amazon. The list was updated September 2, 2025, after the sale window reported by 9to5Toys had ended on September 1. Its listed prices are historical offers, not current prices.
What the 2025 roundup covered
Travel + Leisure organized its 100 selections around travel and outdoor use. The sections included overall picks, deals under $50, women’s and men’s apparel and shoes, luggage and bags, travel accessories, travel technology, and hiking and camping gear. This was a curated shopping list, not a head-to-head product test or an exhaustive catalogue of Amazon’s Labor Day promotions.
A separate 9to5Toys report published August 31, 2025, described Amazon’s sale as running through Monday, September 1. The roundup itself was updated the following day.
Examples of prices recorded in the roundup
The following are product-level prices as Travel + Leisure reported them in 2025. Its article does not independently establish price history, present-day availability, or whether any offer remains active.

How to use an old deal roundup
- Check the current listing. Prices, stock, seller, and product configuration can change. The 2025 figures above should not be treated as live offers.
- Compare the exact item. For luggage, verify dimensions and whether the listing is for a carry-on or checked bag; for a tent, confirm its capacity and model. The historical roundup does not provide comparative capacity, durability, or performance testing.
- Judge the total cost. Review shipping, taxes, return terms, and any seller-specific conditions on the listing before buying.
- Evaluate the stated discount cautiously. The listed “original” prices are those reported by Travel + Leisure; they are not independent proof of typical market prices or savings.
Sources and scope
Travel + Leisure’s 2025 roundup is the source for the product categories and historical product prices. 9to5Toys’ August 31, 2025 report supports the reported sale window. Neither source establishes today’s prices or stock, and the roundup is editorial commerce coverage rather than independent testing.
