WWE ranked second at $6.8 billion, while the remaining eight entries ranged from $2 billion to $120 million. These are Forbes estimates published on April 18, 2024—not current 2026 valuations or prices paid in transactions.
The list groups mixed martial arts, boxing and professional wrestling businesses. Those promotions differ in ownership, format, talent arrangements and distribution, so the ranking compares estimated business value rather than sporting quality. Forbes defines value here as enterprise value: equity value plus net debt.
Forbes’ 2024 ranking of the 10 most valuable combat sports promotions
The figures below are Forbes’ reported 2024 valuation estimates. Revenue figures refer to 2023 and retain Forbes’ estimated label where applicable. Valuation and revenue are different measures: enterprise value accounts for equity and net debt, while revenue is money generated by the business over a period.

Forbes’ figures and methodology are reported in its 2024 ranking. Forbes says it used public documents and interviews with industry and media experts and executives. Its Spanish-language edition provides the full data and methodology; the ranking figures should be understood as estimates, not audited appraisals.

How far ahead were UFC and WWE?
UFC and WWE were in a different valuation tier from the rest of the list. UFC’s estimate was $4.5 billion above WWE’s, and WWE’s was $4.8 billion above AEW, the third-ranked promotion. Forbes also reported that each of UFC and WWE generated more than $800 million in media-rights revenue—more than three times the combined total revenue of all the other promotions on the list. That comparison reflects the scale Forbes described, not a universal formula for valuing every promotion.
UFC and WWE were listed separately even though they had combined under TKO in 2023. TKO’s filing identifies them as its two operating businesses; a parent-company structure does not make the two brands a single entry in Forbes’ ranking. See TKO’s 2024 annual report filed with the SEC.

What the ranking says—and does not say—about value
Enterprise value is not revenue
Enterprise value is a valuation measure that includes equity plus net debt. Revenue is a measure of business activity over a period. For example, Forbes listed WWE’s 2023 revenue above UFC’s, but valued UFC substantially higher. A single year’s revenue does not by itself establish what a business is worth.
Distribution and media rights matter
Forbes points to media rights and distribution as important business factors in the gap between the leaders and the other promotions. TKO’s annual report describes media-rights renewals, international distribution, live events, sponsorships, licensing and merchandise as business drivers. TKO reported that UFC content reached more than 975 million households through 50 broadcast partners, in over 50 languages and more than 170 countries during the filing’s reporting period. Those are company-reported reach figures, not independent audience measurements.

The businesses are not interchangeable
The table spans different disciplines and operating models: wrestling promotions, boxing promoters, and organizations built around MMA or multiple combat sports. Forbes also notes ONE Championship’s distribution reach, PFL’s seasonal format and 2023 acquisition of Bellator, alongside the differing scale of boxing companies. These are contextual factors Forbes discusses; the ranking does not provide a common, independently verified valuation formula for comparing every promotion.
