There is no reliable public ranking of the 10 highest-paid music acts in Las Vegas. The figures most often used to rank residencies are ticket grosses—not performers’ paychecks—and the available sources do not disclose comparable artist compensation. The clearest current finding is that the ten highest-grossing residencies tracked by Gambling.com had generated $2.03 billion across 2,025 shows as of its June 19, 2026 analysis, but its accessible article text does not name all ten acts or provide a complete ranked table.
Why “highest-paid” is not the same as “highest-grossing”
A residency’s gross is ticket revenue before venue, promoter, production and other costs, and before the artist’s contractual share. It does not reveal what a performer earned or took home. Contracts can allocate revenue and expenses differently, so box-office totals alone cannot establish who was paid the most.

Gambling.com’s June 2026 analysis and Casino.org’s March 2025 update report residency grosses, not a comparable set of artist compensation figures. Neither provides a verified ranking of performers’ take-home pay. Calling a gross-revenue list a ranking of “highest-paid” acts would therefore overstate what the numbers show.
What the available figures can establish
The best-supported comparison is about revenue generated by residencies, with important differences in source, date and scope. These figures are not a unified current leaderboard:
#1 Best Overall
- DION CELINE LIVE IN LAS VEGAS - A NEW DAY (2DVD)
| Act or residency | Reported ticket gross | Shows or tickets | What the figure means |
|---|---|---|---|
| Celine Dion, “A New Day…” | $385.1 million | 714 shows | Gambling.com reported this as the single-residency gross record in its June 2026 analysis. It is gross revenue, not Dion’s pay. Gambling.com |
| Celine Dion, both Las Vegas residencies | $681 million combined | 1,141 shows: 714 for “A New Day…” and 427 for “Celine” | Gambling.com’s combined figure covers two separate residencies; it should not be mistaken for one run or for performer compensation. Gambling.com |
| U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere | $244.5 million | 40 shows; 663,000 tickets | Billboard Boxscore reported this total from the residency’s September 29, 2023 opening through its March 2, 2024 close. Gambling.com separately reported an average gross of $6.11 million per show in its June 2026 analysis. Neither figure is U2’s payment per show. Billboard Boxscore; Gambling.com |
| Bruno Mars at Dolby Live | More than $197 million | 110 shows | Gambling.com reported this gross in its June 2026 analysis. Gambling.com |
| Garth Brooks, “Plus ONE” | More than $130 million | 72 shows | IQ Magazine reported this gross as of April 11, 2025, and placed the residency at number eight on its list at that time. IQ Magazine |
| Adele, “Weekends With Adele” | Approximately $200 million | About 100 shows | Casino.org’s 2025 figure is an estimate extrapolated from earlier sales data, not an official Billboard Boxscore total. Casino.org |
Why there is no defensible current top-ten pay ranking
The public lists measure different things
Casino.org’s dated ranking says nine of its ten entries were based on Billboard Boxscore, with Adele’s estimated total as the exception. Its list counts individual residencies, not unique artists: Celine Dion and Elton John each appear twice. IQ Magazine reported a separate ranking in April 2025, while Gambling.com’s June 2026 analysis supplies a combined top-ten gross but not a complete act-by-act list in the accessible article text.
The cutoffs and scope do not match
Residency totals change as shows are performed, and lists can differ in which runs they include and whether multiple residencies by one artist count separately. A precise ranking would need one consistent source, metric and reporting cutoff. Mixing these published lists would not produce a comparable top ten.
Rank #2
Gambling.com’s June 2026 analysis attributes to its director Dean Ryan the view that Sphere has reset expectations for residency economics, while noting U2’s reported $6 million-per-show gross, the Eagles’ reported $4.8 million average and Bruno Mars’s more than $197 million gross at a smaller venue. That is an interpretation of venue economics, not evidence of the artists’ contractual pay.

How to read residency earnings claims
- Check the metric: “gross,” “earned” or “box office” may refer to ticket revenue, not artist income.
- Check the reporting date: a cumulative figure can become outdated when a residency continues.
- Check the unit: a list may rank shows or residencies, allowing one act to appear more than once.
- Check whether a total is reported or estimated: Casino.org explicitly identifies Adele’s approximate figure as an estimate, unlike official Boxscore data.
- Do not infer a paycheck from a per-show gross: the gross precedes the contractual split and relevant costs.
