パナソニックグループは解散していません。2025年2月5日、パナソニック ホールディングスは、報道された再編の対象は傘下のパナソニック株式会社であり、グループを解散することはないと説明しました。その後、2026年4月1日に新しい事業会社の体制が発足しています。名前が同じ「パナソニック株式会社」でも、再編前の会社と再編後の会社は別の法人です。
「グループ解散」と「子会社の再編」は別の話
混乱のもとは、「パナソニックグループ」と「パナソニック株式会社」という、似た名前の異なる組織が報道の中で混同されたことです。グループ全体の親会社はパナソニック ホールディングス株式会社です。一方、パナソニック株式会社は同社傘下の事業会社の名称でした。
2025年2月5日、パナソニック ホールディングスは、前日の発表が傘下のパナソニック株式会社の再編に関するものだと訂正し、「パナソニックグループを解散することはありません」と明言しました。パナソニックブランドについても、グループにとって重要な資産だと説明しています。パナソニック ホールディングスの2025年2月5日付説明
2025年の説明から2026年の実施まで
- 2025年2月4日：パナソニック ホールディングスがグループ経営改革について説明しました。同日、テレビを含む課題事業について、売却や撤退は決定していないと発表しています。これは当日の決定状況を示す説明で、現在の事業継続を保証するものではありません。2025年2月4日付発表
- 2025年2月5日：同社が、グループ解散ではなく、パナソニック株式会社の再編についての発表だったと説明しました。
- 2025年7月30日：パナソニック ホールディングスが、2026年4月に予定するグループ体制と事業会社の人事を発表しました。
- 2025年11月27日：旧パナソニック株式会社の主要事業を3つの事業会社へ移したうえで、同社を2026年4月1日付でパナソニック ホールディングスに吸収合併する方針を発表しました。吸収合併に関する発表
- 2026年4月1日：事業移管と社名変更を経て、新しいパナソニック株式会社が発足しました。パナソニック エレクトリックワークス株式会社とパナソニック HVAC & CC株式会社も、新体制で事業を開始しています。
旧会社と新会社はどう違う？
2026年の変更を理解するには、同じ社名を持つ旧会社と新会社を区別する必要があります。

再編は社名の変更だけではなく、事業の移管を伴う体制変更です。2026年4月1日には、次の事業会社が新体制で発足しました。

2025年2月4日の発表では、テレビを含む課題事業について、売却や撤退は決定していないとされていました。ただし、これはその時点での状況です。後日または現在の事業判断を示すものとして読み替えることはできません。また、グループ解散が否定されたことは、各事業の所有者や組織が変わらなかったという意味でもありません。
