Using the comparison article’s assumptions, $1,000 buys about 666.67 XRP at $1.50; if XRP reaches $3, that holding would be worth about $2,000 before fees and taxes. At AlphaPepe’s stated presale price of $0.03205, $1,000 implies about 31,201 ALPE tokens—but that larger token count does not show what they might be worth or whether a buyer could sell them. The XRP and ALPE figures are not equivalent market quotes: this comparison’s XRP price and $3 scenario are assumptions attributed to the October 3, 2026 TechBullion article, while ALPE’s price is a presale figure and no independent public-market price or completed exchange listing was established.
What does the $1,000 comparison actually calculate?
The arithmetic compares how many tokens the article’s stated prices would buy. It does not forecast either asset’s return. The source for the XRP and ALPE inputs below is TechBullion’s exact-title article, dated October 3, 2026; the figures are attributed to that article, not presented as independently verified live quotes.
| Asset | Price used | Tokens implied by $1,000 | What the comparison establishes |
|---|---|---|---|
| XRP | $1.50 reference price | About 666.67 XRP, before fees | At the article’s $3 scenario, those tokens would be worth about $2,000 before fees and taxes. |
| ALPE | $0.03205 stated presale price | About 31,201 ALPE, before fees | The article provides no comparable future sale price or resulting value; the token count alone establishes no return. |
How to read the XRP scenario
At the stated $1.50 starting price, $1,000 divided by $1.50 is approximately 666.67 XRP. Multiplying that quantity by $3 gives approximately $2,000. That would be a 100% increase in the holding’s gross value from the assumed purchase price, not a guaranteed outcome or a net return. Trading costs and taxes are excluded, and the $1.50 input and $3 scenario are not independently verified quotes or a probability-weighted price target.
What the ALPE token count means
Dividing $1,000 by the article’s $0.03205 presale price gives approximately 31,201 ALPE before fees. That is an arithmetic estimate based on the stated presale price. It does not supply a future price, prove there will be a liquid market, or show that a holder can exit at a particular value.

Why a larger token count does not mean ALPE goes further
A token’s unit price determines how many units a fixed amount buys; it does not by itself measure the investment’s value or likely performance. Comparing 31,201 ALPE with 666.67 XRP is like comparing counts without knowing what each unit can be sold for, where it trades, and whether buyers are available. The available evidence does not support a claim that ALPE will outperform XRP or that XRP will recover to $3.
For a meaningful market comparison, a reader needs independently observable prices at a stated exchange and time, plus information about trading volume, liquidity, costs, and practical ability to sell. A project’s presale price and a publicly traded asset’s exchange price are different kinds of evidence.

What is established about XRP, and what is not a price forecast?
XRP is the native token of the XRP Ledger; Ripple is a separate technology company. Ripple describes XRP as used for transactions on the ledger and as a bridge asset in its decentralized exchange. Those are Ripple’s descriptions of the asset and network, not a guarantee of demand or future price.
Ripple’s XRP overview, accessed October 3, 2026, reports more than 4 billion transactions processed and more than $1.7 trillion in value moved since 2012. These are company-published figures, not independently verified measurements in the available evidence. Network activity and value moved do not establish what XRP should be worth or whether it will reach $3.

Has AlphaPepe had an independently verified exchange debut?
AlphaPepe’s official website presents ALPE as a presale token, gives purchase instructions involving a Web3 wallet, publishes tokenomics, and claims exchange listing arrangements. Those are project statements. The available evidence did not independently confirm a live exchange venue, a public-market price, a completed listing, or the ability to sell ALPE on an exchange.
Before treating the presale figure as comparable to XRP’s market price, a buyer would need to verify the actual venue and trading pair, whether trading has begun, the observable price and timestamp, liquidity, and the terms affecting purchase and sale. The website’s tokenomics and listing claims have not been independently audited or corroborated here.

What the XRP court record does—and does not—say
An SEC-hosted Form 10-K summarizes the August 7, 2024 final judgment and the subsequent appeal outcome. It says the court imposed a civil penalty and enjoined Ripple from certain unregistered institutional sales. It also describes the court’s treatment of programmatic sales over digital-asset trading platforms as different from Ripple’s direct institutional sales: the court found those programmatic sales did not constitute unregistered securities sales. The filing says the parties dropped their respective appeals in August 2025, leaving those rulings intact.
This record is more specific than a blanket claim that every XRP sale has the same legal treatment, or that XRP is simply “legal” or “not a security” in every context. It also does not predict XRP’s price.

What to verify before comparing the investments
- Price evidence: Check the venue, trading pair, and timestamp for any claimed market price. Label presale pricing as a project or article statement unless it is independently observable.
- Trading and exit conditions: Confirm that trading is live, that there is liquidity, and that the relevant venue and token are available to you. A stated listing arrangement is not proof that trading has begun.
- Supply and distribution: Review total supply, allocations, vesting, and unlock terms in verifiable documentation. AlphaPepe publishes tokenomics on its site, but those claims have not been independently audited in the available evidence.
- Costs and downside: Account for transaction and network fees, taxes, and any restrictions on buying or selling. Crypto prices can fall sharply, and an investor can lose some or all of the amount invested.
The comparison is therefore useful for illustrating two different calculations—not for identifying which asset will deliver the better return. The XRP result depends on the assumed move from $1.50 to $3; the ALPE presale calculation has no independently established public-market price or equivalent exit scenario.
