最も簡単な構成は、WordPressにWooCommerceを追加し、PrintfulまたはPrintifyを接続する方法です。 WooCommerceが商品ページ、カート、決済、注文を管理し、PODサービスが注文後の印刷、梱包、発送を行います。初期在庫は不要ですが、ドメイン、サーバー、決済手数料、製造費、送料、税金、返品費用までゼロになるわけではありません。
この記事では、準備から接続、商品公開、価格計算、税・送料設定、テスト注文、トラブル対応までを順番に説明します。
プリントオンデマンドの仕組み
顧客が商品を購入すると、注文情報がWooCommerceからPrintfulまたはPrintifyへ同期されます。POD事業者が商品を製造・梱包・発送し、あなたは販売価格と各費用の差額を受け取ります。
流れは次のとおりです。
- 顧客がWordPressサイトで注文する
- WooCommerceが決済と注文情報を受け付ける
- PrintfulまたはPrintifyへ注文が同期される
- POD事業者が印刷、梱包、発送する
- 販売価格から製造費、送料、決済手数料、税金などを差し引く
WooCommerce自体は印刷会社でも配送会社でもありません。ブランド設計、商品説明、価格、顧客対応、返品・返金、集客は販売者の仕事です。

PrintifyのWooCommerce連携とPrintfulの公式連携を使うと、手作業を減らせます。
始める前に用意するもの
- 独自ドメイン、SSL対応のホスティング、自己ホスティング型WordPress
- WooCommerceとEC対応テーマ
- PrintfulまたはPrintifyのアカウント
- 販売するデザインと商品画像
- 決済事業者のアカウント（地域により本人確認や銀行口座登録が必要）
- 送料、税金、返品・返金ルール
プラグインを自由に追加できる環境が必要です。無料のWordPress.comブログと、プラグインを導入できる自己ホスティング型WordPressは同じではありません。
1. WooCommerceをインストールして基本設定を行う
- WordPress管理画面で「プラグイン」→「新規追加」を開き、WooCommerceをインストールして有効化します。
- セットアップウィザードでストア所在地、通貨、販売地域、商品タイプを入力します。公式の流れはWooCommerceセットアップウィザードで確認できます。
- 次の画面を確認します。
WooCommerce > Settings > General：所在地、通貨、販売地域WooCommerce > Settings > Products：商品と在庫WooCommerce > Settings > Payments：決済WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping：配送ゾーンと方法WooCommerce > Settings > Tax：税率と表示WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy：アカウントと個人情報WooCommerce > Settings > Emails：注文メール
プラグインやテーマによって追加タブが表示されることがあります。設定項目の概要はWooCommerce設定ガイドを参照してください。
2. PrintfulとPrintifyのどちらを選ぶか

Printfulは平均フルフィルメント時間を2〜5日と案内していますが、商品、繁忙期、配送先で変動します。納期の保証値として表示しないでください。PrintifyはWooCommerce用プラグインを無料と案内していますが、製造費や送料は別に発生します。

3. PrintfulをWooCommerceに接続する
- Printfulアカウントを作成し、WordPressにPrintful連携プラグインを追加します。公式プラグインはWordPress.orgで確認できます。
- 管理画面のPrintfulタブでConnectをクリックし、アクセスを承認します。
- PrintfulダッシュボードのStores > Add productで商品を選びます。
- デザイン、色、サイズ、印刷位置、モックアップを設定します。
- 商品名、説明、販売価格を入力し、Submit to storeでWooCommerceへ公開します。
- 公開後、バリエーション、画像、価格、送料を確認し、テスト注文を行います。
接続時はショップのルートURLを入力します。https://example.com/shopや/storeを付けず、WordPressの実際のサイトURLとHTTPS、wwwの有無、末尾スラッシュを一致させてください。
4. PrintifyをWooCommerceに接続する
- WordPressで
Settings > Permalinksを開き、Plain以外のパーマリンク構造を選び、保存します。 - PrintifyのManage My Stores（またはストア追加画面）でWooCommerceを選択します。
- サイトのルートURL（例：
https://example.com）を入力します。商品ページや/shopではありません。 - 必要な場合はPrintify for WooCommerce shipping pluginを導入します。
- Printifyで商品とバリエーションを作成し、WooCommerceへ公開します。
- 注文同期、送料表示、発送情報の反映を確認します。
接続できない場合は、Printifyの接続手順でURL、パーマリンク、API設定を確認します。Legacy REST APIを無効にする場合は、他の連携が依存していないことを先に確認してください。
5. 商品ページを購入者目線で作る
各商品には少なくとも次を記載します。
- 商品名、用途、素材、サイズ表
- 実物に近いモックアップと印刷位置
- カラーとサイズの全バリエーション
- 製造期間と配送予定（別々に表示）
- 返品・交換、印刷不良、破損、紛失時の対応
同じデザインでもモデル、サイズ、色で原価や印刷仕様が変わります。同期漏れは購入不能や手動処理の原因になるため、公開後に各バリエーションを実際に選択して確認します。著作権、商標、肖像権を侵害するデザインや、商用利用できない素材は使わないでください。

6. 利益が残る価格を計算する
販売価格は次の式で検討します。
販売価格 − 製造費 − POD送料 − 決済手数料 − 拡張機能費 − 税金 − 広告・返品引当 ＝ 利益
説明用の仮例として、販売価格3,980円、製造費1,700円、送料700円、決済手数料150円、広告・返品引当300円なら、税引前利益は1,130円です。実際の原価と送料を示す数字ではありません。
顧客から受け取る送料とPOD側の送料は一致しないことがあります。割引、クーポン、返金、為替、関税、輸入税、複数商品の分割発送も計算に含めてください。注文後にPOD事業者へ支払う資金も必要です。価格設計の考え方はWooCommerceのPOD価格ガイドにも説明されています。
7. 決済、送料、税金を設定する
決済
WooCommerce > Settings > Paymentsで販売地域に合うプロバイダーを有効化します。顧客の支払い先はWooCommerce側で、PrintfulやPrintifyへの製造費・送料の支払いは通常、販売者のアカウントから行います。POD側のカードや残高に問題があると注文が保留されます。

Printify商品の送料を適用するには公式送料プラグインが必要な構成があります。POD商品と自社発送商品を混在させる場合は、配送元と納期が異なるため配送クラスや配送ゾーンを分けます。WooCommerce Shipping & Taxは税計算やUSPS・DHLラベルを補助しますが、PODの製造・フルフィルメントとは別機能です。
税金
WooCommerce > Settings > GeneralでEnable tax rates and calculationsを有効にします。WooCommerce > Settings > Taxで税率、税込・税別表示、課税対象地域、送料への課税を設定します。- カート、チェックアウト、注文メールで表示を確認します。
税の計算基準は配送先、請求先、ショップ所在地などから選択できます。自動税計算は手動税率や価格表示を制約・上書きする場合があります（WooCommerce Taxの説明）。WooCommerceは技術設定を支援するもので、米国売上税、日本の消費税、EU VAT、関税などの課税義務を判断するサービスではありません。販売地域、所在地、売上規模、商品区分を税理士または会計士に確認してください。

- 利用規約、プライバシーポリシー、特商法に関する表記
- 返品・交換・返金ポリシー、配送ポリシー
- 問い合わせ先と運営者情報
注文後に製造する商品では、注文後のキャンセル可能時間、サイズ間違い・イメージ違いの扱い、印刷不良や破損、返品先、海外の関税負担者を明記します。Printfulの責任範囲や支払い条件は利用規約で公開時点の内容を確認してください。
9. 公開前にテスト注文する
本番公開前に、少なくとも1回は実際の購入フローを検証します。

- 正しいバリエーションがカートに入る
- 送料と税額が意図どおり表示される
- 決済後にWooCommerceへ注文が登録される
- PrintfulまたはPrintifyへ注文が同期される
- 自動製造を開始する設定が意図どおりになっている
- 注文確認メール、発送通知、追跡番号が届く
テストでは、POD側で注文が自動的に製造へ進むか、手動承認が必要かも確認します。
よくある接続・注文トラブル
URLエラー
原因は/shopや/storeの付加、HTTPとHTTPSの違い、wwwの不一致、サブディレクトリ型WordPressです。WordPressの「サイトを表示」で実URLを確認し、ルートURLを完全一致させます。
Printifyに接続できない
Plainパーマリンク、WooCommerceの無効化、REST APIやセキュリティプラグインによる通信遮断を順に確認します。必要な送料プラグインの有無も確認してください。
商品公開後に注文が同期されない
商品・バリエーションの同期状態、注文ステータス、API権限、POD側の支払い情報を確認し、テスト注文を行います。改善しなければ連携を再接続し、ログを確認します。Printfulのトラブル項目は公式ヘルプにあります。

配送ゾーン、送料プラグイン、商品への配送条件、キャッシュを確認します。税は手動税率と自動計算を混在させず、カートから注文メールまで同じ表示になるか検証します。
WordPress以外の選択肢
管理を簡単にしたいならShopify、マーケットプレイスの集客を利用したいならEtsy、自社在庫で品質と利益を細かく管理したいなら自社発送という選択肢があります。ただし、月額費用、手数料、規約、在庫リスクが異なります。PrintifyはShopify、Etsy、eBay、Wix、BigCommerce、Squarespace、TikTok Shop、Amazonなども案内しています（対応販売チャネル）。
The Bottom Line
WordPressのPODショップは、WooCommerceを販売基盤、PrintfulまたはPrintifyを製造・配送基盤にすると最短で構築できます。 在庫を持たずに始められる一方、送料、税金、決済、返品、資金繰り、テスト注文は販売者が管理してください。
