Concentra is more than a walk-in urgent care chain: it is an occupational health services company built around employers, workplace injuries and workers’ compensation. Its reported growth rests on a broad network of centers and worksite clinics, telemedicine, and acquisitions—not on evidence here that it is outperforming competitors. Concentra’s January 2026 investor presentation reported 628 occupational health centers and 411 onsite clinics at year-end 2025, with services in 47 states.
What does Concentra do?
Concentra serves employers and workers through occupational health care and related services. Its 2025 Form 10-K groups its operations into three segments: occupational health centers, onsite health clinics, and other businesses. The company describes its employer services as ways to promote workforce health and productivity, mitigate occupational risks, and help employers manage healthcare and workers’ compensation costs; those are the company’s stated aims, not independently established outcomes.
Work-related injury and illness care, rehabilitation and specialist care, employer services, patient-directed urgent care, and telemedicine all feature in the service mix. That combination makes the business different from a consumer urgent care operator focused primarily on unscheduled visits.
How does Concentra deliver care?
Occupational health centers
Centers provide a physical network for occupational health and other services, including care related to workplace injuries. Concentra reported 628 centers as of December 31, 2025.

Onsite employer clinics
These clinics are located at employer worksites. Concentra reported 411 onsite health clinics at year-end 2025. They give the company another way to serve employer customers alongside its standalone centers.
Telemedicine
Concentra says its telemedicine offering extends care beyond centers and onsite clinics. Its 2025 Form 10-K describes Concentra Telemed as serving work-related injuries and illnesses and employer services, and as available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The filing describes the company’s service availability; it does not establish that telemedicine is suitable for every injury or replaces in-person care.

How large is Concentra’s business?
In its January 2026 investor presentation, Concentra reported the following scale figures:
| Measure | Company-reported figure | Period or qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Occupational health centers | 628 | As of December 31, 2025 |
| Onsite health clinics | 411 | As of December 31, 2025 |
| States with service offerings | 47 | As of December 31, 2025 |
| Employer customers | Approximately 200,000 | Trailing 12 months ended December 31, 2025 |
| Average patients cared for each business day | More than 53,000 | Trailing 12 months ended December 31, 2025 |
These are company-reported figures, not an independent count or comparison. The employer and patient figures cover a trailing-twelve-month period; they are not point-in-time counts of active customers or a forecast of future volume.

How does Concentra make money?
Concentra earns revenue by providing health services through its centers, onsite clinics, and other businesses. Its reported service mix includes work injury and illness care, workers’ compensation support, employer services, rehabilitation and specialist care, urgent care, and telemedicine. The available company materials do not break down revenue by each service line here, so they do not establish which service contributes the most or the precise economics of each customer relationship.
For full-year 2025, Concentra reported preliminary, unaudited revenue of $2.2 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $432 million in its January 2026 presentation. Adjusted EBITDA is a non-GAAP measure, so it should not be treated as interchangeable with net income or compared with another company’s adjusted figure without a consistent definition and reconciliation. The presentation also reported $198 million of free cash flow and 114% free cash flow conversion, both non-GAAP measures; they describe company-calculated financial metrics, not cash returns to investors.

Why does Concentra keep growing?
Employer relationships connect several services
A company that uses Concentra for work-related care may also use employer services or a clinic at its worksite. That creates several potential service channels within one employer relationship. It is a plausible source of business durability, but the reported customer count alone does not show retention, contract duration, customer concentration, or how much revenue comes from repeat business.
A network combines fixed sites and worksite access
Centers, onsite clinics, and telemedicine give Concentra different ways to deliver services to employers and workers. A mix of channels can broaden access, but the available materials do not prove that it produces better clinical outcomes, lower costs, or higher customer satisfaction than competitors.

Acquisitions and new centers expand the footprint
Concentra identifies acquisitions and de novo center openings as growth methods in its 2025 Form 10-K. The company says acquisitions can fill geographic gaps or establish entry into markets, and that it applies its workflows, systems, infrastructure, and customer relationships to acquired businesses. Its January 2026 presentation attributed 2025 year-end facility growth to the Nova acquisition, the Pivot Onsite Innovations acquisition, bolt-on acquisitions, and de novo openings. These are management’s stated strategy and attribution; they do not demonstrate that every acquisition creates value or that acquired locations perform as well as established ones.
Does the evidence show Concentra is “winning”?
The company’s filings and presentation support a narrower conclusion: Concentra operates at substantial scale, serves employers through multiple channels, and reported preliminary revenue and adjusted EBITDA for 2025. They do not independently establish that it is beating competitors, improving outcomes, or generating superior returns from acquisitions. A genuine competitive assessment would need comparable data on geographic access, workers’ compensation and employer-services mix, customer retention and concentration, organic versus acquired growth, consistently defined margins, and clinical outcomes or employer savings. The company-reported figures above are not enough to rank it on those measures.
