Gymshark’s collection guide points shoppers toward Everyday Seamless for rest days and light exercise, Vital Seamless for varied training, Whitney for a softer all-round feel, and Adapt or Lift Seamless for lifting. Those are the brand’s recommendations—not results from independent expert testing. This guide compares the collections by intended use and feel, then explains how to choose a size and assess coverage.
Which Gymshark leggings suit your workout?
Gymshark’s recommendations are useful as a starting point, but they describe intended use rather than a guarantee of performance. Match the collection to the training you actually do and the feel you prefer.
| Collection | Gymshark’s suggested use | Published feel and construction | Trade-off to consider |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vital Seamless | Varied or all-round training | Seamless, high-rise, medium-to-high compression; medium fabric weight of approximately 326 gsm, according to Gymshark’s 2026 product information. The brand describes it as sweat-wicking and quick-drying. | A more structured feel than the softer or lighter options may not suit someone seeking minimal compression. |
| Adapt | Strength training and heavy lifting | Gymshark describes it as a particularly supportive, structured option. Adapt Camo is listed at 7% elastane in the brand’s fit guide. | The heavier feel may be warmer and less suited to sweaty HIIT sessions or long runs. |
| Lift Seamless | Lifting | Gymshark describes a firm, sculpting feel. The brand’s fit guide lists 8% elastane. | Gymshark advises against running or high-heat training in this thicker style. |
| Whitney | Soft, all-round or studio workouts | Gymshark calls Whitney its softest all-rounder; its fit guide groups it with more relaxed, high-elastane styles. | Exact styles and specifications can vary by market and season, so check the individual product listing. |
| Everyday Seamless | Rest days, walking, travel, casual wear and light exercise | Gymshark describes the collection as lightweight and seamless. | Its comfort-oriented positioning makes it a less obvious choice than Adapt or Lift Seamless if you want a firm, supportive feel for heavy lifting. |
All fabric and use descriptions in the table are Gymshark’s published claims, not independent measurements or comparative test results. The company also identifies Training and Elevate as flexible alternatives: it associates Elevate with flexibility, breathability and studio workouts. Check that a specific style is still available before deciding on either.
How to choose between the collections
For heavy lifting
Start with Adapt if you want Gymshark’s more supportive, structured option. Lift Seamless is another lifting-focused choice if a firm, sculpting feel is what you prefer. The brand’s guidance flags Lift Seamless as a poor match for running or high-heat sessions, while it notes that Adapt’s heavier fabric can feel warmer during sweaty or long-duration workouts.
#1 Best Overall
For mixed training
Vital Seamless is Gymshark’s all-rounder for varied training. The company lists its fabric weight at approximately 326 gsm and describes medium-to-high compression, a high-rise waist and seamless construction. Gymshark’s US collection guide lists regular, petite and tall lengths; check the specific product page for current availability.
For softer or lower-impact wear
Choose Whitney if you want the brand’s softest all-round option, or Everyday Seamless for a lightweight pair aimed at light exercise and off-duty wear. Gymshark also groups Whitney with more relaxed, high-elastane styles, but product details may differ across markets and seasons.

How to choose your size and length
- Measure your waist, hips and inseam. Use those measurements with the size chart for the exact product rather than relying on a size chosen for a different collection.
- Use hip measurement as a key fit check if you have fuller hips or glutes. Gymshark says a size that is too small may ride down or feel sheer across the glutes.
- Consider the style’s compression and your preferred feel. Gymshark says the usual size may work for someone who likes a compressive fit, while its guide says sizing up is often the safer choice when between sizes. Those are brand recommendations, not a universal fit rule.
- Check the inseam options for the specific model. Some collections offer short and tall lengths as well as regular; the US guide describes short, regular and tall options. Do not assume every style comes in every length.
Fabric composition can be one clue to feel, but it is not a substitute for a size chart or try-on. Gymshark’s fit guide lists 7% elastane for Adapt Camo and Vital Seamless and 8% for Lift Seamless, and says lower elastane can feel more compressive. These are the company’s specifications and interpretation.
What to know about opacity and “squat-proof” claims
No legging can be promised opaque for every wearer and every movement. Gymshark says coverage depends on the fit, fabric, color and wearer; a too-tight pair can overstretch its knit, and lighter colors may show more. Check the individual product description for any sheerness notes, and choose a fit that does not feel strained across the hips or glutes. Gymshark explicitly does not guarantee that every pair will be “100% squat-proof” for every person.

What seamless construction means
Gymshark says seamless leggings are made as one continuous piece rather than from cut-and-sewn panels. Hannah Hastings, the company’s Head of Brand, describes that construction as giving the garments a second-skin feel without bulky seams. That is the brand representative’s explanation of the design, not independent evidence that a particular legging will feel comfortable or perform better for every wearer.
Care guidance
Gymshark recommends washing its leggings on a cool or gentle cycle, avoiding fabric softener and air-drying where possible. Follow the care label on the particular garment if it differs.

What this comparison can—and cannot—tell you
The title “The 7 Best Gymshark Leggings, According to Expert Testing” implies a seven-product test, but the available evidence does not establish that seven models were independently tested or ranked. Gymshark’s own guide offers use-based collection suggestions, not an expert-tested ranking. The advice here is therefore a brand-attributed collection comparison, not a claim of firsthand testing or a seven-item verdict.
