For the clearest documented route to a real Labubu, shop through POP MART’s official regional website, a POP MART store, a ROBOSHOP vending machine, or an online platform POP MART authorizes in your country. A marketplace listing by itself does not prove the seller is authorized. After buying, check the code on the box through POP MART’s authenticity verification page.
Where to buy authentic Labubu toys online
POP MART says products bought through its official website, official stores, ROBOSHOP vending machines, and other authorized online platforms are guaranteed authentic and verifiable. Start with the POP MART website for the region that serves your delivery address, and check whether any third-party platform or seller is authorized in that country. The available official information does not establish a complete, current list of independent authorized retailers.
When shopping on a marketplace, assess the seller—not just the platform name or product photos. Confirm the seller’s identity and authorization before paying. If you cannot verify that connection, an official POP MART channel offers a clearer authenticity assurance.
What to check before you place an order
- Seller and authenticity: Is the seller POP MART or an authorized retailer for your country? A marketplace listing alone is not proof.
- Exact design or blind box: Does the listing identify a specific character, or is the figure a mystery until the box is opened?
- Total delivered cost: Check shipping fees and whether the seller ships to your address.
- Stock: Popular items can sell out. POP MART recommends using its “NOTIFY ME WHEN AVAILABLE” feature; its FAQ does not provide a general restock date.
- Returns and support: Read the current policy for your destination country. Shipping and return terms can differ by region.
Blind boxes do not let you choose a character
A blind box conceals which collectible is inside until it is opened. POP MART says it cannot accommodate requests for a specific figure from a blind-box series, so buying one does not guarantee a chosen Labubu. If you want a particular design, look for a listing that explicitly names it, then check that the seller and product are genuine.

Example of a current official Labubu listing
POP MART US lists THE MONSTERS × Hello Kitty and Friends Series-Vinyl Plush Pendant Blind Box, a vinyl plush pendant product. The listing gives an online release date of March 12, 2026, dimensions of 9 × 8 × 17.5 cm (3.54 × 3.15 × 6.89 inches), and materials including polyester, PVC, ABS, and cotton. It states “Not suitable for persons under 15.” These details apply to this product, not to every Labubu item. Stock and price can change.
How to check a Labubu box code
- Find the verification label on the product box and scratch off the coating to reveal its code.
- Go to POP MART’s authenticity verification page and enter the code as instructed.
- Review the result. POP MART distinguishes a first scan of a genuine code from genuine codes scanned multiple times or beyond the scan-count limit. A multiple-scan message alone does not prove the item is counterfeit.
- If the result is unclear, contact POP MART support rather than relying on appearance alone.
Why unusually cheap or unclear listings deserve caution
On August 18, 2025, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission warned that counterfeit Labubu-like plush figures and keychains could block a young child’s airway or break apart into small choking hazards. The warning concerns counterfeits, not all authentic Labubu products. The CPSC advised consumers to avoid fakes and buy from reputable sellers. Its acting chairman, Peter A. Feldman, said: “These fake Labubu dolls are dangerous, illegal, and have no place in American homes.”
