The announcement described pitches, expert discussions, and advisory support for 20 selected projects. It does not independently establish that the event took place, who attended, or whether it produced funding or partnerships.
What was “Legit Founders Only”?
Artiffine presented the event as a handpicked gathering for Web3 founders, not as a public expo, hackathon, accelerator, or confirmed investment program. The announcement said selected founders would pitch their projects and discuss industry challenges with experts. It did not name those experts or provide a detailed agenda. BTCWire’s announcement, published August 13, 2024, is the source for the event description.
The organizers said they intended to bring together 20 Web3 projects. That was a stated target, not a verified attendee count.
What support did organizers advertise?
The announcement listed four kinds of support:
- Product-market-fit consultation.
- Legal counseling and guidance.
- Hands-on development support.
- Pitch refinement and fundraising advice.
These were described as areas of support, not guaranteed services or outcomes. The announcement did not specify whether help would be delivered at the event or later, how much time each founder would receive, whether services were free, or whether investor introductions or funding were available. It also did not identify counsel or establish the jurisdiction in which any legal advice would be provided.

Who was eligible, and how selective was it?
The event was described as limited to handpicked founders with Web3 projects suitable for presentation and discussion. Interested founders were directed to a Telegram group. But the announcement did not explain how applications were assessed or define “legitimate founder.” It did not say whether applicants needed an incorporated company, working prototype, token, live users, or a public identity.
“Legit Founders Only” should therefore be read as event branding, not as a formal credential or independently verified standard. The announcement also does not establish whether Telegram was the only application route, whether applicants had to submit pitch materials, or whether any fee applied.

When and where was it scheduled?
| Detail | What the announcement stated |
|---|---|
| Date | August 14, 2024; scheduled date, not independently verified completion. |
| Time | 18:00–20:30; the announcement did not explicitly label a time zone. |
| Location | A confidential venue in Şişli, Istanbul; no street address or venue name was published. |
| Access | Venue details were to be shared with invited projects. |
Because the date has passed, the distinction between a planned event and a verified completed event matters. The public announcement supports the schedule and district, but does not confirm the venue or that the gathering went ahead.
Who organized it, and what was the announcement’s provenance?
Artiffine was identified as the organizer. Its current website describes the company as a Web3 studio offering work across strategy, tokenomics, smart contracts, web and app development, marketing and community, legal and compliance, and related project services. That current self-description helps explain the overlap between the event’s advertised support and the company’s business; it does not show what, if anything, attendees received.
The BTCWire page is structured as an announcement and uses promotional language. Its publication establishes that the announcement appeared, not that BTCWire independently verified the event, its participants, or its claims. Artiffine’s commercial services also create a possible business-development interest in meeting founders. That is not evidence of misconduct, but readers should distinguish a service provider’s event from a neutral accelerator or investment forum.
What is—and is not—verified about the event?
The available public material confirms that Artiffine announced the gathering and described its intended format, audience, time, district, and support categories. It does not independently confirm:

- Whether the event took place or how many founders attended.
- The identity of any founder, project, mentor, judge, investor, or expert.
- The venue, pitch agenda, selection process, or any confidentiality rules.
- Whether legal, technical, or other advisory services were delivered.
- Any investment, partnership, contract, or other result.
No post-event recap, attendee account, named participant list, or outcome evidence is established by the announcement. Accordingly, it would be inaccurate to describe the event as a confirmed success or to say that 20 projects attended.

A private pitch session can be useful, but a short event description is not enough to establish who will be in the room or what follows. Before sharing a deck, code, or business details, clarify the organizer’s identity and the event’s terms.

- Verify the organizer. Check the legal entity, named team, official domain, prior events, and independently verifiable participants. Artiffine’s website identifies the company as Artiffine, s.r.o. and describes it as EU-registered; the event announcement itself does not provide Turkish registration, a local partner, or venue confirmation.
- Define the promised help. Ask whether “support” means brief feedback, a sales consultation, formal legal review, ongoing development, or investor introductions. Get duration, cost, and follow-up obligations in writing.
- Separate advice from capital. A pitch and fundraising advice do not establish that investors will attend, funding is available, or a project will enter an accelerator.
- Protect confidential information. Ask whether pitches are recorded, who can access decks, whether confidentiality agreements are available, and whether mentors or attendees have conflicts. Avoid exposing unreleased code, user data, token allocations, fundraising terms, or treasury details without a clear reason and safeguards.
- Use wallet security basics. A legitimate event should not need your seed phrase or private key. Verify Telegram accounts and links through the organizer’s official domain, and do not grant unnecessary wallet permissions.
- Confirm legal scope. If legal guidance is offered, ask who provides it, where they are licensed, and whether it covers the jurisdiction relevant to your project.
