Wallbridge Mining Company Limited shareholders approved the company’s proposed name change to Sunday Lake Gold Corp. and a share consolidation at a September 29, 2026 special meeting. The votes settle the shareholder-approval question, but Wallbridge’s reported results do not establish that regulatory steps are complete or that either change has taken effect. Separately, the company says its Fenelon pre-feasibility study (PFS) is underway, with completion expected in late 2027 or early 2028.
What Wallbridge shareholders approved
Wallbridge reported that all matters submitted to the September 29 special meeting passed. The proposed name-change resolution received 958,692,422 votes in favour (98.667%) and 12,947,287 against (1.333%). The proposed share-consolidation resolution received 955,202,010 votes in favour (98.308%) and 16,437,698 against (1.692%). In total, 971,639,709 shares—53.070% of the outstanding shares—were represented at the meeting. Wallbridge’s September 29 meeting results report the tallies.
The proposed name change
The resolution would change the company’s name from Wallbridge Mining Company Limited to Sunday Lake Gold Corp. Shareholder approval does not, by itself, prove that the legal name has changed. Wallbridge’s August meeting notice said the actions were also subject to applicable regulatory approvals; the September results do not state an effective date or confirm completion of those steps. The company’s rationale was to emphasize its focus on the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone. The August notice and meeting materials describe the proposal and rationale.
The proposed share consolidation
Shareholders approved a consolidation on a basis of up to 20 pre-consolidation shares for each post-consolidation share. “Up to 20-for-1” describes the maximum ratio authorized in the proposal, not a confirmed final ratio. A consolidation reduces the number of shares outstanding by exchanging a specified number of existing shares for one post-consolidation share; it does not, on its own, increase the underlying value of a shareholder’s investment. The eventual per-share market price is not mechanically guaranteed by the vote or ratio.

What the Fenelon PFS is intended to establish
A pre-feasibility study evaluates whether and how a proposed mine could be developed, using more detailed technical and economic work than an earlier conceptual assessment. Wallbridge says its Fenelon PFS is underway and is expected to be completed in late 2027 or early 2028. That is a company forecast, not a guaranteed deadline. The planned work includes metallurgical testing, infill drilling, engineering, and technical trade-off studies. Wallbridge’s September 2 PFS update outlines the scope and schedule.

| Workstream | Purpose | Status and timing reported by Wallbridge |
|---|---|---|
| Metallurgical characterization | Compare potential processing routes and test recovery variability in areas considered for underground mining in the March 2025 PEA. | Samples had been delivered for testing; initial results were expected in the latter half of Q4 2026. |
| Infill drilling | Seek to convert Inferred resources to Indicated classification for the PFS mine plan and support a maiden mineral reserve estimate. | A ramping-up program was part of the PFS work. The stated purpose is not evidence that resource conversion or a reserve estimate has been achieved. |
| Engineering and trade-off studies | Assess technical choices relevant to the study design. | Included in the work underway; the cited update does not give a separate completion date for each study. |
What the metallurgical program has—and has not—shown
Wallbridge said its 2026 metallurgical campaign completed seven dedicated diamond-drill holes totalling 3,144 metres. It reported delivery of 820 kilograms of mineralized material to Base Metallurgical Laboratories: 635 kilograms averaging 5.00 g/t gold from areas in the PEA mine plan, plus 185 kilograms averaging 6.92 g/t from peripheral intervals. These are company-reported sample figures, not recovery results, a mineral reserve, or proof of project economics.
Processing approaches under evaluation
The tests are designed to compare three approaches: whole-ore leach, whole-ore leach with carbon, and flotation. Separate work will assess whether residual tailings could be suitable for the dry-stack storage contemplated in the PEA. Wallbridge said Synectiq Inc. was engaged to design and manage the program, with Base Metallurgical Laboratories Ltd. conducting the work under Synectiq’s direction. Results were expected in the latter half of Q4 2026; until they are reported, the comparative recovery performance of these approaches is not established by the update. The metallurgical drilling release provides the sample and test-program details.

Drill intercepts are not mineable grades
The September update also reported intercepts of 8.27 g/t gold over 16.4 metres in hole FAL-26-002A, 25.41 g/t over 3.6 metres in FAL-26-003, and 10.67 g/t over 5.0 metres in FAL-26-005, within areas considered in the PEA mine plan. Wallbridge estimated true widths at 70–90% of reported core interval lengths. These are drill intercepts from holes whose primary purpose was collecting representative metallurgical samples; they are not mineable grades, reserve estimates, or evidence on their own of economic viability.
How Wallbridge says the PFS will be funded
In May 2026, Wallbridge announced strategic investments by Agnico Eagle Mines Limited and Waratah Capital Advisors Limited, on behalf of investment funds. The announced terms were intended to give each investor approximately 19.9% partially diluted ownership and provide approximately C$56 million in total. Wallbridge said the proceeds together with existing resources were expected to fully fund the Fenelon PFS. That is the company’s funding expectation, not an independent cost audit or guarantee that the study will stay within budget. The May financing announcement sets out the stated terms.

Why the company is emphasizing Sunday Lake
Wallbridge’s August notice described a contiguous 598 km² mineral property position extending approximately 82 km along the Detour-Fenelon gold trend. It identified Fenelon as its flagship PEA-stage project, alongside the earlier-stage Martiniere project and greenfield targets. The company said the proposed rebrand would highlight its focus on the Sunday Lake Deformation Zone. These are company descriptions of its land position and project portfolio, not a finding that the projects are economically viable.
