The code was BLACKFRIDAY50, but the offer ended on December 9, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST. It is not a redeemable deal now.
The deal in numbers
| Item | 2025 Black Friday terms |
|---|---|
| Plan | Visible+ Pro annual |
| Regular annual price | $450 |
| Promotional price | $225 paid upfront |
| Savings | $225, or 50% of the stated annual price |
| Effective monthly equivalent | $18.75 ($225 ÷ 12), not monthly billing |
| Promo code | BLACKFRIDAY50 |
| Deadline | December 9, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST |
Visible published these terms on its annual-plan page. The advertised amount included taxes and fees under the offer language, but the customer still had to pay the entire annual charge at checkout.
What “top plan” meant
The headline referred to Visible+ Pro, which Visible introduced as its highest-priced plan in April 2025. Its advertised feature set included:
- Unlimited premium data on Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network and on Verizon’s 5G and 4G LTE networks.
- Unlimited mobile-hotspot data at speeds up to 15 Mbps.
- Included smartwatch service.
- Up to 4K video streaming under the plan’s stated conditions.
- International texting to more than 200 countries and international calling to approximately 85 countries.
- Mexico and Canada usage benefits.
- Twenty-four complimentary Global Pass days per year on the annual plan, awarded when the annual payment was made.
Visible’s plan details are at visible.com/plans/annual, and Verizon’s launch announcement is at verizon.com.

“Unlimited hotspot” did not mean unlimited speed. The advertised ceiling was 15 Mbps. Phone performance also depends on coverage, congestion, device compatibility, location and whether the device is connected to Ultra Wideband. International features are separate benefits with their own country, day, data and usage limits; they are not unrestricted worldwide roaming.
Who qualified?
The public terms targeted new Visible members bringing their own phone. A person did not qualify merely by being interested in Visible, and the offer was not a general discount for existing subscribers.
- A compatible, unlocked device was required for the bring-your-own-phone route, or the customer needed to use an eligible device-purchase path.
- The customer had to complete Visible activation and select the Visible+ Pro annual plan.
- The customer needed a payment method capable of covering the full $225 charge.
- The offer was nontransferable, had no cash value and could be changed or terminated by Visible. Visible also reserved the right to disqualify abuse or attempts to game eligibility.
Some existing customers may have received separate, account-specific offers, but anecdotal reports do not change the public terms. Canceling, opening a new account or transferring a number should not be assumed to make an existing subscriber eligible.

How redemption worked
These were the historical checkout steps while the promotion was live:
Recommended Free Tools
- Start a new-member signup using Visible’s bring-your-own-phone flow.
- Choose Visible+ Pro annual, not a monthly plan or a lower tier.
- Enter
BLACKFRIDAY50at checkout. - Confirm that the total changed to $225 before submitting payment.
- Set up the physical SIM or eSIM and activate service.
A careful buyer would have checked the plan name, applied discount, device eligibility and order confirmation before paying. The same code should not be presented as usable now: the stated deadline was December 9, 2025.
The trade-offs behind the low price
You paid a year at once
$18.75 was only a monthly equivalent. The actual transaction was a $225 annual prepayment, which reduces flexibility if coverage, performance or circumstances change.

You were committing to annual service
The promotion covered the discounted annual term. It did not establish that a second year would renew for $225. Before renewal, a customer would need to check the account’s renewal screen and then-current terms; the regular price or another available offer could apply.
Hotspot speed was capped
Unlimited hotspot data at up to 15 Mbps can support browsing, video calls and moderate laptop use, but it is not uncapped tethering or a substitute for wired broadband.
Verizon coverage still mattered
Visible uses Verizon’s network. Check coverage at home, work, along the commute and in places you visit. A nationwide network reputation cannot guarantee strong service at a particular address.

- ✅ Genuine Verizon SIM Card – Official, carrier-certified SIM for Verizon Wireless.
- 📡 5G + 4G LTE Ready – Supports the fastest Verizon data networks for reliable connectivity
- 🔒 NFC Enabled – Allows secure mobile payments and contactless pairing.
- 🔁 For New Activation or Replacement – Use for new devices or to replace a damaged SIM.
- 🔌 Nano Size (4FF) – Fits all modern smartphones (e.g., iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Pixel, etc.)
Your phone had to pass compatibility checks
Unlocked status alone is not enough. Model, radio bands and eSIM or physical-SIM support can affect activation. Visible’s compatibility checker should be treated as the authority for a specific device.
International benefits were not one unlimited package
Domestic U.S. service, Mexico and Canada usage, international calling and texting, and Global Pass roaming days are different benefits. Confirm the destination, included days, high-speed data allowance and calling rules before relying on the plan abroad.

Strong fit
- Heavy domestic-data users in areas with reliable Verizon service.
- People who need hotspot data and can accept the 15 Mbps limit.
- Customers who value smartwatch service or the plan’s international features.
- Buyers with a compatible phone who could comfortably prepay $225 and stay for 12 months.
Weak fit
- Anyone needing month-to-month flexibility or uncertain about Verizon coverage.
- Users who require uncapped hotspot speeds.
- People whose phone might fail Visible’s compatibility check.
- Shoppers seeking family-line pricing, a different network or the lowest possible prepaid cost.
The “half price” calculation was accurate against Visible’s stated $450 annual price: $450 minus $225 equals $225 saved, and $225 divided by 12 equals $18.75 per month. The value depended on actually using the premium features for a full year.
How it compared with alternatives
| Option | Why consider it | Key trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Visible’s regular plans | Lower tiers may cost less and still use Verizon’s network; compare them at Visible’s plan page. | Lower tiers do not provide the same combination of premium data, hotspot capability, smartwatch service and international benefits. |
| Mint Mobile | Relevant for shoppers comfortable with annual prepayment and T-Mobile coverage. | Network, pricing and feature rules differ; current terms must be checked before comparing prices. |
| US Mobile | Offers a different mix of plan structures and network flexibility. | Its customization may be less appealing to someone who wants Visible’s single-network simplicity. |
| Cricket Wireless | An AT&T-network alternative for people with better AT&T coverage or a preference for Cricket’s lineup; see Cricket’s plan information. | Hotspot allowances and speed rules differ materially from Visible+ Pro’s unlimited allowance with a 15 Mbps ceiling. |
Current offers change. For live Visible pricing, check the plans page and the deals page; do not substitute a later promotion’s price or eligibility for the expired 2025 terms.
Common problems and what they meant
- Code rejected: The promotion may have expired, the wrong plan may be selected, the account may not be new, or the phone may not qualify for BYOD.
- Full price shown: Do not pay until the checkout discount is visible and the order confirmation reflects it.
- Activation failed: Recheck unlock status, model compatibility and SIM or eSIM support.
- Early cancellation question: The applicable annual-plan agreement controls refunds and unused service. The promotion did not establish a guaranteed prorated refund.
- Different price on a current page: Later pricing and promotions are separate from the 2025 Black Friday offer.
Bottom line
Visible’s Black Friday surprise was a real 50% cut on Visible+ Pro’s stated annual price: $225 upfront instead of $450 for new BYOD members. It was compelling for Verizon users who wanted premium data, smartwatch service and unlimited-but-15-Mbps hotspot data and could commit for a year. The deal expired on December 9, 2025, and its $225 price should not be treated as a current offer or an automatic renewal rate.
