BetMGM published the following estimated total payouts for the four headlining fighters. Each figure below is an estimate attributed to BetMGM in 2024, not a UFC-confirmed contract total. BetMGM’s UFC 309 payout report was published November 17, 2024.

Why published estimates differ for Miocic
A second estimate, published by UFC Fans on November 18, 2024, lists Miocic at $4,032,000—$200,000 below BetMGM’s figure. The two outlets agree on the reported totals for Jones, Oliveira and Chandler. UFC Fans says its estimates are derived from previously published amounts; neither table establishes the fighters’ private contract terms or an official total paid. UFC Fans’ UFC 309 payout estimates itemize components, but those components should not be read as verified contract disclosures.

What the estimates include—and what they do not prove
UFC Fans breaks its estimates into base salary, incentive pay, an estimated pay-per-view component and bonuses. Its breakdown lists Jones at $5 million base, $42,000 incentive, $1 million estimated PPV component and $50,000 bonus; Miocic at $3 million base, $32,000 incentive, $1 million estimated PPV component and no listed bonus; Oliveira at $1 million base, $21,000 incentive, no PPV component and $50,000 bonus; and Chandler at $1 million base, $6,000 incentive, no PPV component and $50,000 bonus. Those are the outlet’s estimated component figures, not independently verified contract terms.

BetMGM reports $50,000 award amounts. The UFC’s official announcement confirms that Jones and Oliveira received Performance of the Night awards, while Oliveira and Chandler shared Fight of the Night. Oliveira therefore appears in both award categories, but the available reporting does not support adding two separate $50,000 awards to his estimated total. UFC’s UFC 309 bonus announcement confirms recipients, not purse totals.
