UFCalendar reported a UFC 305 total of $2,432,000 for Israel Adesanya and $2,042,000 for Dricus Du Plessis, making Adesanya the higher-paid fighter by that source’s figures. They are reported totals, not verified statements of either fighter’s complete earnings; another salary site published substantially lower guaranteed-pay estimates.
UFC 305 salary figures reported for the main event
UFCalendar’s August 18, 2024 salary page labels its figures “reported.” It lists the following pay for the five-round middleweight title bout between champion Du Plessis and former champion Adesanya:
| Fighter | Show pay | Win bonus | Reported total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dricus Du Plessis | $800,000 | $800,000 | $2,042,000 |
| Israel Adesanya | $2,000,000 | None listed | $2,432,000 |
On those reported totals, Adesanya’s figure is $390,000 higher. The total column exceeds the listed show pay and win bonus for Du Plessis, and Adesanya’s total exceeds his listed show pay. UFCalendar does not fully itemize the additional components, so the differences cannot be assigned to a specific bonus or payment category. See UFCalendar’s UFC 305 salary figures.
Why another salary page shows lower amounts
UFC Fans France presents its numbers as estimates of guaranteed pay, using base pay plus incentive pay rather than UFCalendar’s reported-total categories:
#1 Best Overall
| Fighter | Estimated base pay | Estimated incentive pay | Estimated guaranteed total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dricus Du Plessis | $1,000,000 | $42,000 | $1,042,000 |
| Israel Adesanya | $2,000,000 | $32,000 | $2,032,000 |
The page was updated August 21, 2024, and calls its figures estimates. They are lower than UFCalendar’s totals, but the sources do not explain a shared methodology or provide the fighters’ underlying contracts to reconcile the difference. These figures should therefore be compared as different source estimates, not combined into a single definitive salary. See UFC Fans France’s UFC 305 estimates.
What the reported figures include—and leave out
UFCalendar says its reported rows combine commission data with contemporaneous reporting. It also cautions that fighter pay is only partly public: its recorded figures exclude undisclosed locker-room bonuses, sponsorship income, and most pay-per-view money. That means neither its totals nor the competing guaranteed-pay estimates establish what either headliner ultimately received from every source.

UFCalendar additionally gives $4,945,000 as its recorded UFC 305 payroll across three fighters. The site describes that figure as based on commission disclosures and contemporaneous reporting, with the same exclusions; it is the site’s recorded-payroll figure, not a complete event payroll independently confirmed here.
