Who is Susan Sumners?
Sumners was a TTI executive with 20 years at the company when her promotion was announced. TTI is an authorized distributor of interconnect, passive, electromechanical and discrete components.
What did Sumners do at TTI?
Before the promotion, Sumners had led development of TTI’s systems in Europe and Asia, the TTI Express system, and integrations of many of the company’s acquisitions. Her experience included both regional technology systems and projects supporting TTI’s operations.
What was her new role and geographic responsibility?
Effective immediately upon the May 4, 2015 announcement, Sumners became senior vice president of Information Services. Her remit covered TTI IT services in North America, Europe and Asia.

Why did TTI promote her?
The promotion came as David Minter retired. TTI’s announcement credited Sumners’ two decades of experience and leadership of high-profile projects. CEO Paul Andrews said, “Susan brings a wealth of experience to her new management role. During her 20 years at TTI, she has demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities and the ability to manage a multitude of high-profile projects for the company.”
