Verdict: The TradingShenzhen promotion behind this headline dates to May 27, 2024; it is not a verified current deal. On August 18, 2026, the seller’s Vivo X100 Ultra 16GB/1TB page displayed €1,017 but marked the phone out of stock. The Chinese-market model also lacks Android Auto and eSIM support according to the seller, so a lower sticker price does not by itself make it a practical or cheaper purchase.
What the 2024 TradingShenzhen promotion advertised
Gizchina’s May 27, 2024 article was labeled sponsored. Its listed prices are historical promotional prices, not current offers or evidence of the lowest market price. The article advertised:

Current Vivo X100 Ultra price and availability
As observed on August 18, 2026, TradingShenzhen’s product page showed €1,017 for the 16GB/1TB Vivo X100 Ultra, alongside an out-of-stock notice and a message that a new delivery was being inquired about. The page offered a restock notification. Because the phone could not be ordered as an in-stock item at that observation, €1,017 was a displayed price, not a usable live deal. Why the Vivo X100 Ultra still attracts camera buyers
The X100 Ultra is a Chinese-market camera flagship, and its most distinctive feature is the rear camera system. TradingShenzhen lists a 50MP Sony LYT-900 main camera, a 50MP ultrawide and a 200MP Zeiss APO super-telephoto camera with 3.7× optical zoom and up to 100× digital zoom. Those headline specifications explain the phone’s appeal to people who prioritize reach and camera hardware over a straightforward global-market ownership experience. They do not, on their own, establish how it compares with another phone in real-world photography.
#1 Best Overall
The seller’s listing also specifies a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. Its 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display is listed at 3200×1440 resolution and up to 120Hz. Other stated specifications include a 5,500mAh battery, 80W wired and 30W wireless charging, Wi-Fi 7, USB 3.2, NFC, dual SIM and an IP69 rating. The listing gives the phone’s weight as 229g and describes its software as OriginOS based on Android 14. Seller’s specification and compatibility listing
Chinese firmware means real compromises
This is not a global Vivo model simply because the seller lists multiple languages or Google Play. TradingShenzhen describes the phone as a Chinese version, says Google Play is pre-installed, and explicitly lists Android Auto as unavailable and eSIM as unsupported. The seller also says Google Pay should work, but that is a retailer claim, not a guarantee for every region, account, firmware version or later update.
Recommended Free Tools
The listing includes English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Vietnamese, Thai, Arabic, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. A multilanguage interface does not establish that every system screen is translated, Chinese apps are absent, Google services behave exactly as on a global ROM, or regional payment, assistant, notification and wearable features work identically. The seller says OTA updates may be possible; buyers should not assume that updates will preserve all current behavior indefinitely.

- Ideal for a bookworm
- Compact for travelling
- Android Auto: Do not buy this model if Android Auto is essential; the seller lists it as not working.
- eSIM: The seller lists eSIM as unsupported, so plan on physical SIMs.
- Google and other apps: Pre-installed Play Store does not prove that every banking, enterprise, payment or wearable app will work as expected.
- Work use: Avoid relying on it for a managed work device, fleet policy or other setup where a specific certification or support commitment is required.
Check carrier compatibility before ordering
The seller lists LTE and 5G bands and provides a compatibility checker, but band overlap alone cannot confirm that a phone is certified or fully supported by a particular carrier. It does not establish VoLTE or VoWiFi availability, carrier aggregation combinations, indoor coverage, emergency-calling behavior or reliable 5G access. This matters especially in the United States, where a broad claim that the phone “works” cannot be made for every operator.
Before paying, compare the exact model and its listed bands with your carrier’s current device requirements, and ask the carrier whether it supports the model’s calling and 5G features. If dependable service is essential, obtain carrier confirmation rather than relying on a band list alone. The seller’s band list and compatibility checker
Calculate the landed cost, not just the listed price
The product page says the phone ships from China and links to separate information on shipping, customs and payment. The listed euro amount may not be the complete amount you pay. Your total can depend on destination and checkout terms, including shipping, import VAT or sales tax, customs or brokerage charges, payment-provider currency conversion and fees. The 2024 promotion did not provide a complete landed-cost calculation.

- Confirm the current stock status and item price on the product page.
- Review the seller’s shipping and customs information for your destination.
- Check whether tax and import charges are collected at checkout or may be billed separately.
- Include your card or payment provider’s currency-conversion fees, if any.
- Consider the cost and inconvenience of an international return before comparing the total with a locally sold phone.
TradingShenzhen’s FAQ provides ordering information, but the buyer-specific total should be confirmed for the actual destination and checkout. TradingShenzhen FAQs
Understand the guarantee and return route
TradingShenzhen advertises a one-year seller guarantee; that is not the same as a local manufacturer warranty from Vivo. The seller is the first contact for a warranty claim, and its warranty process governs what documentation and steps are required. A repair or return may involve shipping the device internationally, while a local Vivo service center may not accept an imported Chinese-market model. Confirm the terms and process at checkout because retailer policies can change. TradingShenzhen warranty execution information

Who should consider an import, and who should skip it?
Consider it if camera reach is the priority
The X100 Ultra may suit a buyer who values its distinctive telephoto hardware, is comfortable with Chinese-market software and has verified carrier support. Its price only makes financial sense after confirming stock and calculating shipping, taxes, fees and the potential cost of a return.
Skip it if convenience and local support matter more
Choose a locally sold global flagship instead if Android Auto, eSIM, straightforward returns, local manufacturer service or predictable carrier support is important. An imported phone can lose its apparent price advantage once buyer-specific charges and service risks are included.

Compare alternatives on ownership cost
Wonda Mobile and Giztop are other import-retailer destinations, but no current price or stock for them is established here; compare their exact ROM, final landed cost, warranty and returns rather than assuming one is cheaper or better. Wonda Mobile · Giztop. Vivo’s Chinese product page is useful for manufacturer specifications, but is not by itself an international purchase or local warranty route. Vivo China X100 Ultra product reference
If you are considering a newer model, compare its exact camera hardware and firmware region rather than assuming a later release is automatically a better camera buy. Waiting for a restock is only sensible if you can tolerate uncertain timing and the same import compromises.
