Prime Day 2026 ended June 26. As of August 18, the available coverage does not verify 20 tech discounts that are still live on Amazon.com today. June and July roundups reported attractive prices, but those prices and stock can change quickly. Treat any “still available” claim as unconfirmed unless the exact Amazon listing, seller, variant, coupon and delivery estimate are checked at publication time.
This page therefore does not relabel old prices as current bargains. It explains how to identify a genuine leftover Prime Day price and which previously reported products deserve a check.
Why an old Prime Day list is not proof of a deal today
Amazon’s 2026 Prime Day ran June 23–26, according to Amazon’s announcement. Amazon’s final-day roundup says the event ended June 26, while TODAY’s technology coverage was updated June 26 and its post-event list June 27. Those publication dates establish what was reported then—not what Amazon is charging now.
After an event, a discount may continue as an ordinary sale, disappear, apply only to one color or capacity, require a clipped coupon, or move to a marketplace seller. A headline such as “up to 65% off” can also refer to a different configuration from the one a reader opens.
#1 Best Overall
- Your favorite music and content – Play music, audiobooks, and podcasts from Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify and others or via Bluetooth throughout your home.
- Alexa is happy to help – Ask Alexa for weather updates and to set hands-free timers, get answers to your questions and even hear jokes. Need a few extra minutes in the morning? Just tap your Echo Dot to snooze your alarm.
- Keep your home comfortable – Control compatible smart home devices with your voice and routines triggered by built-in motion or indoor temperature sensors. Create routines to automatically turn on lights when you walk into a room, or start a fan if the inside temperature goes above your comfort zone.
- Do more with device pairing – Fill your home with music using compatible Echo devices in different rooms, or create a home theatre system with Fire TV.
- Say goodbye to drop-offs and buffering - With eero Built-in, Echo Dot doubles as a mesh wifi extender, adding up to 1,000 sq. ft. of wifi coverage to your existing eero network.
What must be verified before calling a price a leftover Prime Day deal
- Exact listing: Match the model number, generation, storage, screen size, color and bundle.
- Checkout price: Record the price before and after any coupon, promotion or trade-in.
- Eligibility: State whether Prime is required and whether the offer is account-specific.
- Seller and fulfillment: Check “Sold by” and “Ships from,” seller feedback, condition and warranty.
- Availability: Confirm stock and the displayed delivery date for the buyer’s ZIP code.
- Market value: Compare Amazon’s current price with Best Buy, Walmart, Target and the manufacturer.
- History: Use Amazon’s product-page price history, where available, for up to 365 days. A reference price alone is not evidence of a normal selling price.
Record a timestamp such as “Price checked August 18, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. ET.” Prices, coupons and inventory can change after that check.
Previously reported products worth checking—but not verified August deals
The following products appeared in Prime Day or post-event coverage. Their reported prices are historical signals only; none should be treated as a current recommendation without a fresh product-page check.

How to decide whether a surviving discount is good
- Prefer at least 20% below a verified recent price, unless the product is unusually strong. NBC Select used a similar benchmark—at least 20% off and the lowest price in at least three months—in its Prime Day methodology: NBC Select.
- Check whether a newer model costs only slightly more. The WH-1000XM5, for example, should be compared directly with the WH-1000XM6.
- For Ring, Blink and other connected cameras, separate basic operation from cloud recording, person detection and extended history that may require a subscription.
- For smart-home products, verify the app, hub, wiring, ecosystem and Matter or Alexa/Google Home support.
- For cameras, include batteries, memory cards, mounts and editing software in the real cost.
- For Wi-Fi 7, expect limited benefit if most household devices still use Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6.
Deals to skip
- A discount based only on an inflated “list price.”
- An outgoing model whose replacement is nearly the same price.
- A marketplace listing with unclear condition, seller identity or warranty.
- A coupon that vanishes at checkout or is limited to selected accounts.
- A security device whose useful features require an expensive recurring plan.
- A bundle containing unwanted accessories or protection plans that create a misleading headline discount.
Update policy for a trustworthy roundup
A genuinely current list should remove an entry when its price, coupon, seller, stock or delivery promise changes. It should distinguish a leftover Prime Day price from a normal August sale and show the exact check time. Amazon’s own Prime Day hub remains useful for identifying active promotions, but the 2026 event itself has ended: Amazon Prime Day.

The Bottom Line
There is no evidence here to publish 20 verified “still available today” Prime Day tech deals. Check each Amazon listing live, compare its current street price and total ownership cost, and remove any offer that no longer clears those tests.
