There was no independently proven, universal “best” Solana copytrading bot in 2024. The most defensible choices depend on your priority: Trojan for configurable wallet-copying controls, OdinBot for the clearest web-first specialist concept (but with promotional and closed-beta evidence), DBot for feature depth, and SolTradingBot for a simple documented workflow. GMGN, Maestro and Pepeboost are broader alternatives. Bitfoot’s speed results are useful as a test example, not proof of superior returns.
Every option can lose money. A copied transaction may arrive later, fill at a worse price, fail, or execute after the target has already exited. Treat this as a historical 2024 comparison, not a guarantee of current availability, fees or performance.
What Solana copytrading actually does
A copytrading bot watches one or more public Solana wallet addresses. When a target wallet makes a transaction the bot recognizes, it builds a separate transaction for your trading wallet. You choose the amount, percentage or rules; you do not receive the target’s original fill.
- Select a target wallet.
- Choose fixed-SOL or percentage-based sizing.
- Set buy and sell rules, slippage, priority fees and token filters.
- The bot detects the target transaction and submits your own transaction.
- Your trade may land later, partially, at a different price or not at all.
Solana’s documentation describes roughly 400-millisecond block times and low base fees, while also highlighting MEV protection and stake-weighted quality-of-service considerations. Those characteristics can help execution, but they do not make copying profitable. See Solana’s DeFi documentation.

Copytrading is not the same as owning the target’s assets, receiving its entry price, obtaining private information or reproducing every contract interaction. A simple swap may be copyable; a custom program, bundled route, staking action or liquidity operation may not be.
How the 2024 contenders compare
The table separates documented functionality from marketing claims. Feature availability changed quickly during 2024, so a changelog date matters; a feature visible today should not automatically be projected backward.
| Bot | Positioning and interface | Copytrading evidence | Notable controls or coverage | Evidence limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trojan | Solana trading platform; documentation and Telegram-based workflow | Official FAQ documents wallet copying, wallet selection, slippage, priority fees and MEV concerns | Configurable execution and target-wallet research guidance | Private-key import and account-security risks; no independent profitability test |
| OdinBot | Solana-focused, web-first specialist | June 2024 article describes wallet selection, copying new trades, key export and planned features | Simple web onboarding was the advertised strength | The article was promotional; it described a closed beta. Historical 1% fee claim was not an independent test |
| DBot | Feature-rich multi-function bot | 2024 changelog records Solana copytrading development | Jupiter V6, Raydium CPMM, Meteora DLMM, wallet P&L, token-security detection, copy stop-loss/take-profit and copy-range/minimum-balance filters | Features arrived over time; production reliability and current limits require verification |
| GMGN | Web-based, multi-chain meme-token terminal | Advertises wallet analytics and copytrading-oriented functionality | Research and execution in one broader interface | Historical 2024 feature set and independent results are not established here |
| Maestro | Telegram trading-bot ecosystem | Marketed with copytrading among broader DeFi tools | Useful if you also need other automated trading functions | More settings increase configuration and account-exposure risk |
| SolTradingBot | Telegram-based Solana bot | Official documentation gives a complete copy-buy and copy-sell flow | Fixed SOL buy amount and percentage-based sell amount | Little independent evidence on execution, security or long-term reliability |
| Pepeboost | Solana trading bot | Official guide documents adding a copy trade | Straightforward alternative workflow | Independent testing and detailed fee evidence are limited |
| Bitfoot | Trading bot with published speed comparisons | Vendor-run test against selected bots, including Trojan, GMGN, Sol Trading Bot, Maestro, Banana Gun and Nova | Reports speed rank, block delay and failed-trade penalties | Small, vendor-designed sample; it does not measure profit, price impact or risk |

Our use-case verdicts
Best for configurable Solana copytrading: Trojan
Trojan is the strongest candidate when you want control rather than a one-click follow button. Its FAQ discusses importing an external wallet, choosing target wallets, slippage, priority fees and public-transaction MEV exposure. It also warns that wallets using custom programs may not copy reliably and that “sniper” wallets may be poor targets. Read the official FAQ before using it. Importing a private key means the wallet is signing-capable inside the service, so use a segregated trading wallet.
Best specialist concept in the 2024 coverage: OdinBot, cautiously
The June 2024 comparison presented OdinBot as a native web application for selecting a wallet and depositing SOL, with copying of new trades and planned manual position management. It also reported a 1% transaction fee and beta incentives. Those are historical, attributed claims from promotional coverage; the same article said OdinBot was in closed beta. The evidence does not establish that it was the fastest, safest or most profitable bot. See OdinBot’s official site and verify availability and terms before depositing.
Best for filters and feature depth: DBot
DBot’s 2024 changelog shows the kind of controls advanced users need: support for Jupiter V6, Raydium CPMM and Meteora DLMM, wallet P&L, token-security detection, copy-trade stop-loss/take-profit and copy-range or minimum-balance filters. Documentation elsewhere reports a 1% successful-transaction tax for its CopyTrading Bot; treat that as a dated first-party claim, not a complete cost figure. Check the changelog and current fee page.

- This is what security feels like: Ledger touchscreen signers all come with a private, offline, PIN-protected backup, Ledger Recovery Key, to never lose access to your assets.
Best for a plainly documented setup: SolTradingBot
The documented flow is easy to follow: open @SolTradingBot, select Copy Trades, choose the copying wallet, select Add wallet, name and enter the target address, enable Copy Buy with a SOL amount, configure Copy Sell with a token percentage, then save. The same guide explains removing a target with Delete. Simplicity is not evidence of better fills or safer custody.
Best for broader, multi-chain workflows: GMGN or Maestro
GMGN and Maestro make more sense when you want wallet discovery or other trading functions alongside copying. That breadth can be useful, but it also adds settings and complexity. Confirm which chains, filters, copy-sell rules and fees were available in the period you care about; historical availability is not established by a current product page alone.

Best “speed” evidence: none proven; Bitfoot is a benchmark example
Bitfoot reports a vendor-run comparison in which bots followed one wallet’s trades and a second test involved five buys and five sells. It ranked speed, block delay and failed trades and reported 100% execution success for Bitfoot in that test. Because Bitfoot designed and published the test, it is vendor-sponsored evidence. A speed ranking cannot show profitability, price impact or risk-adjusted returns.
Why the fastest bot can still lose money
- Detection and landing are different: your RPC, transaction construction, validator landing and slot timing all matter.
- Copying after the target: a low-liquidity token can move sharply before your transaction arrives.
- Exit mismatch: the target may sell before your buy lands, or sell 100% while your rule sells only part.
- Slippage trade-off: a low limit can fail; a high limit can accept an unacceptable fill. Trojan’s FAQ discusses this execution gap.
- Priority-fee escalation: paying more may improve landing probability but consume expected profit.
- MEV and public mempool exposure: public transactions can be observed, reordered or sandwiched; Solana’s documentation flags MEV protection as a concern.
- Non-copyable programs: custom routes or bundled instructions may not reproduce.
- Liquidity and token hazards: honeypots, transfer restrictions, concentrated ownership, extreme taxes and removable liquidity can defeat a copy.
- Follower congestion: many followers can move the market against one another.
What copytrading costs

- More than just crypto: confirm your device is authentic with Genuine Check, manage all your logins with Ledger Security Key, detect common scams with Transaction Check and more.
- Industry-defining security: battle-tested by the Donjon's white hat hackers, protected by the Secure Element, and powered by Ledger OS.
- Connect effortlessly with Ledger Wallet: pair your secure Ledger signer with the all in one Ledger Wallet crypto app to manage thousands of digital assets across multiple devices and accounts with Ledger Sync from a single, secure dashboard.
- Playful, user-friendly design: monitor the market, compare rates and Clear Sign all transactions on the secure 2.8'' anti-glare, scratch-resistant touchscreen.
- This is what security feels like: Ledger touchscreen signers all come with a private, offline, PIN-protected backup, Ledger Recovery Key, to never lose access to your assets.
- Bot or platform fee.
- DEX routing or liquidity-provider fee.
- Solana network fee.
- Optional priority fee and, where used, an MEV-related tip.
- Slippage, price impact and spread versus the target’s fill.
- Failed-transaction costs, token taxes and transfer restrictions.
For example, if a target buys at 1.00 SOL equivalent but your delayed fill is 1.08, a 1% platform charge plus network and priority fees can turn the target’s winning trade into your losing trade. The June 2024 OdinBot article’s reported 1% fee and beta allowance, and DBot’s documented 1% successful-transaction tax, are not total-cost estimates.

The target wallet is often more important than the bot. Review:

Trojan’s FAQ cautions that genuinely valuable wallets are rarely shared publicly and recommends researching trader and token-holder activity instead of blindly copying advertised addresses. A high win rate alone does not establish that followers can reproduce returns.

A safer setup procedure
- Create a new Solana wallet used only for the bot.
- Keep long-term holdings in a separate hardware or self-custodied wallet.
- Use only the official domain and official Telegram handle listed by the vendor.
- Never enter a seed phrase into a website or send it to support.
- If a private-key import is required, use the disposable trading wallet—not your primary wallet.
- Start with one target and a small fixed maximum per buy.
- Set a maximum daily loss or copied-trade count.
- Begin with conservative slippage and a measured priority fee.
- Inspect the first transactions on a Solana block explorer and test the sell path.
- Stop, empty or rotate the wallet if credentials may have been exposed; disconnect Telegram sessions and investigate fake support contacts.
“Non-custodial” is not a safety guarantee when a service has access to a private key. Signing authority in the wrong hands can still mean total wallet loss.
When copytrading is the wrong tool
- You cannot afford to lose the entire test balance.
- You need guaranteed entry or exit prices.
- You refuse to use a segregated wallet or manage private-key risk.
- Your strategy depends on private information, custom programs or trades too large for available liquidity.
- You cannot monitor failed transactions, token restrictions and changing bot settings.
- You are treating a public wallet’s past performance as a verified investment strategy.
Bottom line for a 2024 decision
Choose by use case, not by an unverified ranking. Trojan is the most defensible configurable candidate; OdinBot was the clearest specialist in the June 2024 coverage but remained a promotional, closed-beta-era proposition; DBot offered documented feature depth; SolTradingBot offered the clearest simple workflow; GMGN and Maestro suited broader traders; Pepeboost was a documented alternative; and Bitfoot demonstrated why vendor speed claims need scrutiny. Whichever tool you consider, verify current fees and security policies, start with a segregated wallet and small amount, and assume your fills will differ from the wallet you follow.
