- Skip if: you already own a recent Switch and do not need new exclusives, or if the bundle’s extras are not useful to you.

2. LG C5 OLED — best premium TV
Product verdict: The C5 is the premium home-theater and gaming choice. OLED’s pixel-level light control produces deep blacks, and its gaming feature set suits current consoles and PCs.
Costco verdict: A reported December 2025 signal put a 55-inch model at about $1,199. Treat that as a dated promotion, not a normal price. Confirm screen size, model suffix, HDMI features, refresh-rate and VRR support, and whether the warehouse SKU is exclusive.

Costco buying checks that can save money
Confirm the exact SKU
Compare Costco’s model number with the manufacturer’s page. Similar names can conceal different processors, panel types, storage, colors, accessories, or warranty arrangements. A Costco-exclusive SKU may not have an identical independent review.
Understand the 90-day electronics return rule
Costco limits returns for televisions, computers, smart wearables, cameras, cellular phones, and several other electronics categories to 90 days from receipt. Online purchases can generally be returned at a warehouse or through Costco.com, subject to the product page’s instructions. Read the Costco return policy before ordering.

Separate warranty coverage from protection plans
Costco says qualifying televisions and computers may receive up to two years of Costco Technical and Warranty Services. An eligible Allstate plan may add three years, but coverage, exclusions, and purchase deadlines vary. Plans generally exclude loss, theft, intentional damage, and other listed situations; one referenced computer drops-and-spills plan must be purchased within 30 days. Count recurring fees
Budget for Fi service, Nintendo Switch Online, Apple Watch cellular service, and post-trial Microsoft 365 or McAfee charges. A cheap bundle can become expensive if you would not otherwise use its subscription.
Compare total value, not the discount label
Compare Costco’s exact price and bundle with the manufacturer’s standard SKU, the components purchased separately, and the product’s typical—not merely launch—price. Include membership cost if you are not already a Costco member, plus delivery, installation, mounts, cables, storage cards, batteries, and sound equipment.
Which are the strongest buys?
Best broad utility: M4 MacBook Air, provided macOS meets your software needs. Best premium purchase: LG C5 OLED for a suitable viewing room. Best Costco-specific value candidate: TCL QM6K when its exact bundle and protection terms remain competitive. Best distinctive purchase: Fi Series 3+ for owners who accept the subscription and have coverage. Best traveler’s choice: Insta360 X5 for people who specifically want 360-degree footage.
