STRATMOR Group announced on October 1, 2026, that Coby Hakalir had joined the firm as managing director. His stated remit is to advise mortgage lenders and real estate professionals on business strategy and technology at the intersection of the two industries.
Who is Coby Hakalir?
Hakalir is a real estate and mortgage industry veteran whose career has included leadership in lending and advisory work for mortgage lenders, investors, real estate companies and affiliated businesses, according to STRATMOR’s announcement. National Mortgage Professional’s October 2, 2026, report adds that his lending experience includes residential and construction lending at national and super-regional banks, independent mortgage banks and privately owned brokerages.
Immediately before joining STRATMOR, Hakalir was managing director at T3 Sixty, according to STRATMOR.
What will he do at STRATMOR?
STRATMOR says Hakalir will advise lenders and real estate professionals on selecting business strategies and technology solutions to support growth and performance as mortgage and real estate businesses evolve. Senior Partner Garth Graham described the work as addressing the changing combination of mortgage and real estate.

The firm says it serves more than 250 companies annually; that is STRATMOR’s own figure, not an independently verified count.

The listing establishes prior public collaboration, but does not show that it led to or caused the later appointment.
