How did Rask AI describe its video-translation features?
HackerNoon’s historical company profile described Rask AI as offering text-to-voice, voice cloning, multispeaker detection, and translation into more than 60 languages. It also described faster dubbing and, for subscribers, removal of 20-minute and 100 MB limits. These are historical product descriptions; the cited profile does not establish which features, limits or language options are available today.

In practical terms, the described workflow combines translation with generated speech and dubbing tools. Voice cloning is presented as a capability, but the interview and profile do not establish how well it reproduces a particular speaker, what controls users have, or how output quality compares with other services. What growth did the interview report?
The June 19, 2023 interview said Rask AI was named Product of the Day on Product Hunt in early April 2023, received more than 10,000 registrations in its first weeks, and had reached 150,000 users by June 2023. Yes. HackerNoon’s 2024 announcement of the 2023 competition results lists Rask AI as the Dover, Delaware winner with 133 votes. HackerNoon described the competition as community-driven and reported 13,200 participating startups across 1,215 cities, 107,162 votes and 490 winners. What did Rask AI say about AI’s future?
Notchenko’s 2023–2024 outlook focused on wider access to foundation models, open-source packages and the race to turn those models into usable products. He compared ChatGPT’s effect on people who do not program to the wider adoption of personal computers: access to a capable tool could let more people create and work with technology without specialist skills.

He also warned that generated information can be unreliable, making it important to connect claims to evidence. In his view, marketing, data analysis and search were areas where AI could provide especially immediate help. These were forecasts offered in a 2023 interview, not a guarantee about how those fields or products would develop.
