PeakSpan Capital led the round, and Oxx participated. The company said it would use the funding to expand in the United States and Europe, develop its threat-intelligence products and AI-enabled workflows, and grow its managed service provider (MSP) and managed security service provider (MSSP) channels.
How much funding did SOCRadar raise?
The company announced $25.2 million in Series B funding on May 22, 2024. That amount refers to the 2024 round, not a current valuation or a statement of how much capital SOCRadar has raised overall. SOCRadar’s announcement used the headline “SOCRadar Secures $25.2M in Funding to Combat Multibillion-Dollar Cyber Security Threats.”
Who invested in the Series B?
PeakSpan Capital led the round, and Oxx participated. In its May 1, 2024 announcement, Oxx described the Series B as following a $5 million Series A led by 212 in 2023. That earlier-round figure is Oxx’s retrospective account, rather than a figure sourced here to the original Series A announcement. Oxx’s announcement provides its account of the investment, while PeakSpan’s post discusses the Series B from the lead investor’s perspective.
What does SOCRadar do?
SOCRadar describes its Extended Threat Intelligence (XTI) product as a cloud-based software-as-a-service platform for organizations. The company says it brings together cyber threat intelligence, external attack surface management, brand protection, dark web monitoring, and supply-chain threat intelligence. This is the vendor’s description of its offering, not an independent assessment of its capabilities or results.

What did SOCRadar say it would do with the funding?
SOCRadar said the proceeds would support several areas of growth and product development:
- Expansion in the United States and continued investment in Europe.
- More research and development, product innovation, and AI-enabled capabilities and workflows.
- Greater participation in MSP and MSSP markets, where service providers can bring security offerings to their own customers.
These were plans announced in May 2024. The announcement does not establish whether, or how much, the company has since spent in each area or what results followed.
Rank #2
What scale did the company report in 2024?
In its Series B announcement, SOCRadar reported more than 25,000 freemium customers across more than 150 countries, over 600 active paid customers, and more than 350 channel partners. These are company-reported figures from May 2024, not current metrics or independently verified customer counts. PeakSpan’s post repeats the announcement and should not be treated as independent verification of those figures.

The round establishes that SOCRadar announced new financing and identified intended priorities for the proceeds. It does not, on its own, establish the platform’s effectiveness, the size of the cybersecurity market, the company’s current operating scale, or whether the announced plans have been completed. CEO Huzeyfe Onal described the company’s mission as providing “proactive protection against external cyber threats for companies of all sizes”; that is a statement of company intent, not evidence of measured security outcomes.
