Sky Broadband Deals for Existing Customers (2026): Renewal, Full Fibre and Switching

Sky has no single public loyalty price for existing customers. Learn how to check your My Sky renewal, negotiate, compare full costs and switch safely in 2026.

There is no single nationwide Sky loyalty price for existing customers in 2026. Your renewal offer depends on your account, address, current package, available network and contract status. Sign in to My Sky, record the personalised price and terms, then compare the like-for-like cost with Sky’s public new-customer offers and other providers before accepting a new minimum term.

What deal can an existing Sky customer get?

Sky says customers approaching the end of their minimum term may be eligible for a new deal; it does not promise a standard discount for every customer. Check your options through Sky’s package-management page.

Renewal discount

A new discount may apply if you sign a fresh minimum-term contract, either on your current speed or a different package.

Retention offer

If you say you are considering leaving, Sky may offer a personalised price. This is discretionary, not an entitlement, and the first online quote may not be the final offer.

Upgrade or technology migration

You may be offered faster part-fibre or Full Fibre, either as a paid renewal option or, for some Sky VIP customers, at no extra cost. A free migration is a service upgrade, not automatically a cheaper renewal.

Package restructuring

Removing Talk, TV, WiFi Max, Boost or other add-ons can reduce the bill, but may remove discounts or create a new contract. Ask for the complete revised order summary first.

Offers can vary with local network ownership (such as Openreach or CityFibre), technology at the address, current speed, remaining term, expiring discounts, Sky TV or Mobile links, Sky VIP status and account history. Anecdotes about successful negotiations are not evidence of a universal policy.

  • Universal Compatibility – One Cable for All Your Devices: Designed to replace older standard coax cables, this cord works flawlessly with cable modems, routers, DVRs, digital antennas, and satellite receivers. Fully compatible with major service networks including Comcast Xfinity, Charter Spectrum, DIRECTV, Dish, and Cox – simply plug and play without any adapter or configuration needed.

The precision-compressed nickle-plated F-type connectors resist corrosion and ensure a snug fit, maintaining signal integrity even in high-interference urban environments—no more snowy screens or dropped connections.
  • F81 Gender Changer Included – Customizable Length: Worried about being a few feet short? We include an F81 female-to-female coupler that lets you join two RG6 cables securely without signal degradation. Whether you need to route from your wall outlet to a corner TV or extend your outdoor antenna mast, this coupler gives you the flexibility to create your ideal setup length run with minimal loss.
  • All-Weather PVC Jacket – Indoor/Outdoor Rated: The rugged yet flexible black PVC outer jacket is UV-resistant and rated for temperature extremes (-20°C to 75°C), making it safe for aerial wiring, attic runs, or exterior wall mounting. Unlike brittle standard cables, this cord bends easily around tight corners without kinking, and the connectors on both ends well compressed prevent accidental pull-out—a reliable long-term solution for home theaters, offices, and RV antenna setups.

How to check your personalised renewal offer

  1. Sign in to My Sky.
  2. Open the account or package-management area and look for a renewal, upgrade or manage-account prompt.
  3. Save the full offer, including monthly price, speed, minimum-term length, setup or delivery charges, price-rise wording, post-contract price and included add-ons.
  4. Take a screenshot or save the confirmation page before accepting.
  5. If no clear offer appears, contact Sky and ask for the cheapest price for your existing speed, the fastest service available at your address, any no-cost Full Fibre migration, the exact early-termination charge and whether the contract end date changes.

Ask specifically: “Does this change my contract end date?” A paid upgrade, renewal, WiFi add-on or new bundle can start a new minimum term; an eligible Sky VIP migration may leave your existing term unchanged.

Sky broadband tiers visible in the 2026 public offers

Sky’s public deals page labels these as new-customer prices. They are useful benchmarks, not guaranteed renewal prices. Availability and speeds depend on the postcode, network and live buying flow. The page showed offer windows ending as early as 5 August 2026 and, for several products, 19 August 2026, so do not assume an advertised promotion is still available.

Product Advertised average download/upload
Superfast 35 35Mbps / 9Mbps

Full Fibre 75 75Mbps / 16Mbps

Full Fibre 2.5 Gigafast+ 2,500Mbps / 2,500Mbps
Full Fibre 5 Gigafast+ 5,000Mbps / 5,000Mbps

Sky says prices may change during the minimum term. After a 24-month term, the monthly price becomes the price immediately before the term ends plus £5. These are average package speeds, not a guarantee that every device will achieve them over Wi-Fi.

How to negotiate without accepting a bad contract

  1. Read your latest bill and separate broadband, Talk, TV, equipment, add-ons and expiring discounts.
  2. Find the exact minimum-term end date and any early-termination charge.
  3. Run postcode checks with comparable providers, such as BT/EE, Virgin Media, Vodafone, TalkTalk, Plusnet, Hyperoptic or Zen. Treat their prices as comparison targets until checked for your address.
  4. Tell Sky: “I want to stay, but only if the total monthly cost is competitive. What is the cheapest equivalent speed, and can you match a credible local alternative?”
  5. Ask whether Full Fibre is available free or at a lower renewal price.
  6. Request the offer in writing and verify every charge, discount expiry, price rise, contract date and post-term price.

Contacting cancellations can signal that you may leave, but Sky does not guarantee a retention discount or competitor match.

April 2026 price rises and your cancellation rights

Ofcom’s 2026 pricing report records Sky’s £3 monthly broadband increase from 1 April 2026 and £1–£3 increases for some base TV packs. Sky’s January announcement says customers notified of an applicable increase may have a right to cancel broadband, satellite pay-TV or mobile without an early-termination fee, subject to the terms in their notice.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Check the date and wording of your Sky notification.
  • Confirm the increase applies to your exact service.
  • Check the deadline for penalty-free cancellation.
  • See whether your contract already disclosed the increase.
  • Ask what price-rise mechanism applies to any new renewal.

Do not assume every price rise creates a penalty-free exit. Ofcom’s guidance also notes that out-of-contract customers can usually seek a new deal, switch, or—if eligible—move to a social tariff.

Calculate whether the renewal is genuinely good value

Use the complete term, not the headline monthly figure:

Effective monthly cost = (all monthly payments + setup, installation and equipment charges − guaranteed credits) ÷ number of months.

Then calculate the month-after-contract price separately. Compare the same speed and technology, upload performance, minimum term, price-rise rules, router and Wi-Fi equipment, add-ons, support and repair commitments.

Is Full Fibre free for existing customers?

Sky says some Sky VIP customers may be eligible for Full Fibre or part-fibre at no extra cost, with no administration or delivery fee and no change to the existing contract or remaining minimum-term end date. See Sky’s Full Fibre guidance. Eligibility is address- and account-dependent.

A migration may require an engineer and may replace a traditional landline with Internet Calls. Medical, care and security alarms must be checked first. Sky may not migrate where there is no reliable alternative way to contact emergency services during a broadband outage, such as adequate mobile coverage.

Choosing a speed

  • 35–75Mbps: Usually enough for a small household’s browsing, video calls and streaming.
  • 100–300Mbps: Suits several simultaneous users, 4K streaming, gaming downloads and home working.
  • 500–900Mbps: Mainly useful for large households, heavy downloads or home servers.
  • 2.5Gbps or 5Gbps: Worthwhile only with compatible routers, Ethernet or Wi-Fi hardware and a genuine multi-gigabit need.

When staying with Sky makes sense

  • The renewal is close to comparable local Full Fibre prices.
  • You value Sky TV, Mobile, Talk, bundled billing, Wi-Fi features or support.
  • A no-cost migration materially improves the connection.
  • An alternative uses the same physical network and offers no meaningful service improvement.
  • Switching fees, installation delays or an early-exit charge erase the apparent saving.

When switching is likely better

  • Sky’s like-for-like renewal is materially more expensive.
  • You are out of contract and no longer need TV, Talk or paid add-ons.
  • A competitor offers faster Full Fibre at a lower effective cost.
  • Sky will not match a credible alternative.
  • You are paying for a legacy speed or feature you do not use.

How to switch safely

Sky describes One Touch Switch, where the new provider arranges the switch and notifies the old provider. Before ordering, confirm:

  • Activation and Sky cancellation dates.
  • Whether downtime is expected.
  • Your final Sky bill and any early-termination charge.
  • Router and equipment-return requirements.
  • Landline-number transfer and Internet Calls implications.

Sky’s switching-credit offer is for eligible customers switching to Sky, not a general payment for an existing customer leaving. Its published terms specify up to £200 for broadband, £100 for TV or £300 for combined TV and broadband, subject to eligible leaving charges, evidence within 90 days of activation, account-credit treatment and other conditions. It is not a retention saving.

Bottom line

Check My Sky first, but treat every quote as a personalised commercial offer rather than a guaranteed loyalty tariff. Compare the full contract cost—including April pricing, add-ons, installation and the £5 post-24-month uplift—with equivalent local services. Accept a renewal only after confirming the new end date and all discounts; otherwise, use One Touch Switch to move with dates, equipment and phone arrangements coordinated.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
