Five Sonos products were reported on sale in the U.S. on March 17, 2026: Ace headphones, Roam 2 and Move 2 portable speakers, Beam (Gen 2), and Sub Mini. The reductions were roughly 20% to 26%, but most were repeat sale prices rather than historic lows. The figures below are a dated deal report, not confirmation that the same prices or stock remained available later in 2026.
The strongest choices depend on what you are adding: Ace for private TV listening, Roam 2 for maximum portability, Move 2 for louder portable sound, Beam for a compact television upgrade, and Sub Mini as bass reinforcement for an existing Sonos system.

March 2026 Sonos deals at a glance
The roundup, published March 17, 2026, named Amazon, Best Buy, and Sonos as retailers. It presented U.S. dollar prices; taxes, shipping, membership terms, seller status, colors, and current inventory were not established.
| Product | Reported reference price | Reported sale price | Approx. saving | Deal quality |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sonos Ace | $399 | $299 | $100 (25%) | First reported 2026 markdown, but not its historical best |
| Sonos Roam 2 | $179 | $139 | $40 (22%) | Repeat Black Friday/December 2025 price |
| Sonos Move 2 | $499 | $399 | $100 (20%) | Renewed late-2025-level discount |
| Sonos Beam (Gen 2) | $499 | About $369–$369.99 | About $130 (26%) | Return of a Super Bowl-period deal |
| Sonos Sub Mini | $499 | $399 | $100 (20%) | Recurring sale; previously reported around $350 |
These percentages compare the reported sale prices with the stated reference prices. A discount from a list price is not necessarily the same as a discount from a product’s usual street price.

Sonos Ace: a meaningful, but not urgent, headphone deal
The Ace fell from $399 to $299, with black specifically mentioned in the coverage. That is a $100, or 25%, reduction and the first reported Ace markdown of 2026. It was not the headphones’ lowest known price, however, so calling it a record deal would be inaccurate.
Who should buy it
- Sonos home-theater owners who want private television listening.
- Buyers seeking premium wireless headphones with active noise cancellation.
Ace’s distinctive ecosystem feature is TV Audio Swap, which can send compatible Sonos soundbar audio to the headphones. That advantage is much less relevant if you do not own a compatible Sonos home-theater setup. Confirm supported soundbars and current software requirements before ordering.
Verdict
$299 is a reasonable buy for an existing Sonos soundbar owner who values private TV audio. Everyone else should compare comfort, noise cancellation, sound, and competing headphone prices rather than buying solely because of the markdown.

Roam 2 was reported at $139 instead of $179, saving $40 (about 22%). It is a compact portable speaker that works over Bluetooth and within Sonos Wi-Fi features. The report also described Sound Swap and a simpler Bluetooth experience than the original Roam’s initial-setup limitation.
Rank #2
- All-new acoustic architecture with Sound Motion technology fills every inch of the room and precisely place sounds all around you
- Unparalleled 9.1.4 spatial audio experience with Dolby Atmos
- Ultra-clear dialogue plus Speech Enhancement, powered by AI, detects the human voice to clarify every word
- Elegant design looks great in your home and won’t distract from your entertainment
- Control with your TV remote, the Sonos app, the touch controls, Sonos Voice Control, and Amazon Alexa
Best use
- Travel, kitchens, bedrooms, and other spaces where a small speaker is enough.
- Sonos households wanting an inexpensive secondary zone.
The $139 price matched Black Friday and December 2025 pricing. It is recognizable and fair, but not a newly established low. Roam 2 also cannot match Move 2’s output or bass.
Verdict
Buy at $139 if compact size and Sonos integration matter. If you only need basic Bluetooth playback, a less expensive conventional speaker may provide better value.
Sonos Move 2: the more substantial portable deal
Move 2 dropped from $499 to $399, a $100 (20%) saving. The cited description highlights stereo sound, twice the original Move’s battery life, line-in playback, and IP54 protection.

The $260 gap between the reported Roam 2 and Move 2 prices buys a larger speaker with substantially more output and a broader feature set. Move 2 is the better fit for patios, larger rooms, and listeners who want portable sound that approaches a home speaker’s scale.
Trade-offs
- It is considerably larger and less travel-friendly than Roam 2.
- Indoor-only listeners may get better value from a plug-in Era model.
- The $399 price had already appeared around the end of 2025, so it was a renewed deal rather than a documented record.
Verdict
Among the portable offers, Move 2 is the more consequential deal for buyers who need loud, full sound, stereo playback, and long battery life. Choose Roam 2 when portability and price matter more.
Rank #3
- Experience clearer, more powerful sound than ever before possible by a small standalone soundbar.
- Dynamic sound that enhances the drama and creates a surprisingly wide soundstage.
- Zero-stress setup with only two cables and help from the Sonos app.
- Stream all your content from your favorite services over WiFi using the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and more.
Sonos Beam (Gen 2): compact home theater at about $369
Beam (Gen 2) was listed around $369 to $369.99 instead of $499, depending on retailer presentation. That is approximately $130 off, or about 26%. Black and white availability were mentioned.
Where it fits
Beam is aimed at smaller rooms and people upgrading from built-in television speakers. It also provides an entry point into Sonos home theater at less than a larger soundbar.
Important Dolby Atmos qualification
Beam (Gen 2) supports Dolby Atmos, but it has no upward-firing drivers. Its height effects are virtualized, so it should not be expected to create the same overhead impression as a soundbar with dedicated upward-firing hardware.
The model dates to 2021. At roughly $369 it can be a solid compact-room value, but buyers seeking the strongest Atmos presentation should consider a larger or more hardware-rich soundbar instead.
Verdict
This was one of the better percentage discounts in the group, especially for a small-room television upgrade. It is less compelling if your priority is maximum cinema scale or convincing height effects.
Rank #4
- Enrich your entertainment experience with vibrant bass, crystal clear dialogue, and a panoramic soundstage.
- Experience a 3D surround sound effect with Dolby Atmos.
- Stream music, radio, podcasts, and audiobooks from all your favorite services when the TV is off.
- Control with the Sonos app, your TV remote, Apple AirPlay 2, and your voice.
- Effortless setup with only two cables and smart Trueplay tuning.
Sonos Sub Mini: worthwhile mainly as a system upgrade
Sub Mini was reported at $399 from $499, saving $100 (20%). The compact wireless subwoofer is intended to add low-end impact to a compatible Sonos speaker or soundbar system.

Room and system fit
The coverage characterized Sub Mini as better suited to small- and medium-sized rooms than large rooms. It is an add-on, not a complete audio system: buyers need compatible Sonos equipment already, or should budget for that equipment as well.
The $399 price was recurring, and the report noted that Sub Mini had previously fallen to roughly $350. A larger room or a listener seeking maximum bass output may be better served by the full-size Sub.
Verdict
Buy at $399 when you already own a compatible Sonos setup and want more bass without the size and cost of the full-size Sub. It is a poor first purchase for someone starting without Sonos hardware.

The phrase appears to mean the first observed or reported markdowns during calendar 2026, not an official Sonos designation. It also does not mean the products had never been cheaper.
Best Value
- Surround yourself in the story: Go deeper into every scene with spatial audio. Dolby Atmos and the upward-firing drivers work in concert to immerse you in a multidimensional soundstage. You’ll hear planes as if they’re flying overhead, sense footsteps moving across the room, and feel the music swell all around you.
- Feel the bass: Experience every rumble, roar, and beat you've been missing with clean, pulse-pounding bass. Sub 4 takes over the lowest frequencies so paired speakers are free to focus on midrange and high frequencies so everything sounds even clearer.
- Wonderfully wireless: Place Sub 4 anywhere in the room. It connects to the soundbar over WiFi, so you can create the setup that works best for your space.
- Perfectly tuned for the room: Using the microphones in your iOS device, Trueplay tuning technology analyzes the unique acoustics of your space and optimizes the EQ. So all your content sounds just the way it should.
- Breeze through setup: Simply plug in the power cable, connect your phone or tablet to WiFi, and open the Sonos app. It will guide you through connecting the soundbar to your TV and syncing your TV remote for streamlined control.
- Ace was discounted but remained above its previous best price.
- Roam 2 repeated Black Friday and December 2025 pricing.
- Move 2 returned to a late-2025-level price.
- Beam (Gen 2) repeated a Super Bowl-period deal.
- Sub Mini had reportedly reached roughly $350 before.
The available coverage does not describe a complete retailer-by-retailer price-history methodology. “First reported discounts of 2026” is therefore the defensible wording; “all-time low” is not.

Availability and buying checks
The March report named Amazon, Best Buy, and Sonos, but it does not establish that every color, seller, or price was available at each retailer. Prices can change at checkout, and marketplace listings may not be new or sold by the retailer itself.
- Confirm the live U.S. price, color, stock, and seller before paying.
- Check that Ace, Sub Mini, or Beam will work with the Sonos equipment and television you already own.
- Compare the total delivered price, including tax and shipping, rather than relying only on the advertised percentage.
- Treat the figures in this article as historical March 17, 2026 observations, not proof of availability in August 2026.
The official U.S. Sonos store is sonos.com/en-us/shop. The cited report does not provide verified international pricing.
The Bottom Line
These were legitimate reported Sonos markdowns, but not a universal clearance event. Move 2 was the strongest portable upgrade, Beam (Gen 2) offered the most attractive percentage cut for a small-room soundbar, and Ace made the most sense to existing Sonos home-theater owners. Roam 2, Sub Mini, and several of the other prices were repeats, so waiting for a lower promotion can be sensible if your purchase is not urgent.
