Samsung’s $900-Off Galaxy S24 Ultra Deal: What the Exclusive-Color Offer Really Included

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Deal status: historical. On April 17, 2024, Samsung.com advertised the 1TB Galaxy S24 Ultra in Titanium Green for $759, describing the offer as $900 in total savings. Reaching that price depended on combining a $150 configuration discount with up to $750 in trade-in credit—not on an automatic $900 price cut. The offer is not verified as available in August 2026.

What the April 2024 offer included

The deal covered one specific configuration: a 1TB Galaxy S24 Ultra in Titanium Green, purchased through Samsung.com. Droid Life reported the $759 advertised price and $900 maximum savings on April 17, 2024. The $150 discount applied to the featured color and storage configuration; the remaining potential savings came from a promotional trade-in credit of up to $750. Droid Life’s April 17, 2024 deal coverage

That distinction matters when budgeting: $759 was the advertised outcome for a buyer who qualified for the maximum trade-in credit, not a guaranteed checkout price for every customer. Without a trade-in, a smaller credit, or an ineligible device, the final amount would be higher. The source does not establish an exact no-trade-in checkout price.

Why Titanium Green was called exclusive

Titanium Green was a Samsung.com-exclusive color, not a special hardware edition. Samsung also listed Titanium Blue and Titanium Orange among the Galaxy S24 Ultra colors offered exclusively through its online store. Color availability could vary by market and carrier, according to Samsung’s global launch announcement. Samsung Global Newsroom

The April 17 deal article described the Titanium Green phone as having a dark frame and matching dark S Pen. Buyers who wanted that color had a narrower shopping channel than buyers open to standard colors: Samsung’s exclusive-color inventory might not match the selection at retailers or carriers.

How the “$900 off” math worked

Configuration discount $150 off the featured 1TB Titanium Green configuration, as reported by Droid Life.
Trade-in promotion Up to $750 for an eligible device; the maximum was not guaranteed for every trade-in. Droid Life’s April 5 coverage
Maximum advertised savings $900 total when the $150 discount and full $750 trade-in credit applied.
Advertised price $759 for the 1TB Titanium Green configuration under the reported promotion.

The savings figure was a ceiling for customers meeting the offer’s conditions. Samsung’s trade-in values and eligible devices can change, and promotional offers may be modified or discontinued under its U.S. Galaxy S24 buying and trade-in terms. The deal coverage does not establish that the phone was unlocked, so a buyer would have needed to check the exact listing or SKU rather than assume that buying from Samsung meant an unlocked device.

Trade-in rules that could change the final cost

Samsung’s published U.S. terms describe eligibility requirements for trade-in devices. In general, the submitted phone must power on and hold a charge, have a functioning display, avoid prohibited cracks, breaks, liquid damage, or other significant defects, and not be blacklisted. Samsung also specifies that it must have a verified FCC ID, be owned by the customer rather than leased, and be reset with personal data removed and software locks disabled. Samsung’s trade-in terms

  • Ship on time: Samsung says the old device must be sent within 15 days of receiving the qualifying purchase.
  • Expect inspection: The advertised credit should not be treated as settled until Samsung evaluates the device against its requirements.
  • Account for possible adjustments: Samsung may charge back some or all of the credit if the device fails inspection or does not meet the stated conditions.
  • One device per purchase: Samsung’s terms specify a limit of one trade-in for each qualifying purchase.

A damaged phone, an account lock left enabled, blacklisting, liquid damage, or a missed shipping deadline could undermine the expected credit. A household should compare the offer using the trade-in amount it can reasonably qualify for, not the maximum promotional figure.

How this differed from the earlier April promotion

The April 5 and April 17 offers were separate snapshots with different configuration details. The April 5 coverage described Titanium Blue discounts on 256GB and 512GB models, and a Titanium Green discount on the 256GB model, alongside up to $750 in trade-in credit. That article cited a potential $399 price on a qualifying configuration. The April 17 coverage instead centered on the 1TB Titanium Green phone advertised at $759. April 5 deal details · April 17 deal details

Promotion date Featured configuration and color Reported mechanics
April 5, 2024 256GB/512GB combinations in Titanium Blue; 256GB Titanium Green $150 color discount plus up to $750 trade-in; a qualifying configuration was reported as potentially reaching $399.
April 17, 2024 1TB in Titanium Green $150 configuration discount plus up to $750 trade-in; advertised at $759.

These details are from the respective April 5 and April 17 deal reports. The earlier $399 example should not be applied to the later 1TB offer, and neither historical price establishes what a Galaxy S24 Ultra costs today.

Is the $759 deal still available?

The specific April 17, 2024 promotion is not verified as active in August 2026. Samsung’s U.S. MSRP file effective December 2025 marks regular Galaxy S24 models as end-of-life and does not list a current Galaxy S24 Ultra entry; it does not establish whether any individual seller still has stock or what that stock costs. Samsung U.S. MSRP file

There are several different possibilities when an older phone appears for sale: factory-new remaining stock, refurbished marketplace inventory, or Samsung Certified Re-Newed stock. They are not interchangeable. Samsung announced on April 22, 2025, that its U.S. Certified Re-Newed program included the S24 series, describing genuine Samsung parts, a new battery, and a one-year manufacturer warranty. Its announcement listed launch prices of $1,019.99 for a 256GB S24 Ultra and $1,139.99 for a 512GB model; those are historical 2025 prices, not current quotes. For a current purchase, check whether the listing is new or reconditioned, the warranty and return terms, the exact storage and color, the trade-in credit after inspection, and any shipping deadline before comparing totals. Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed page is the appropriate place to check its present refurbished inventory. If current-generation hardware and support matter more than the S24 Ultra’s older-generation price, compare Samsung’s current Galaxy S26 Ultra offers directly; the page advertises offers, but the 2024 S24 terms do not determine their current value.

Who the deal made sense for

At the time, the offer was strongest for a buyer who already had a recent, high-value eligible phone to trade in, wanted 1TB of storage, preferred Titanium Green, and was comfortable buying through Samsung.com and meeting the inspection and shipping requirements. The trade-off was that the headline price depended on a valuable trade-in and a specific configuration.

It was less compelling for someone without a trade-in, with a damaged or locked device, uninterested in 1TB storage, or willing to choose a different color or lower-cost phone. Exclusive-color inventory and a configuration-specific discount could also make a competing retailer’s price on another color the better fit. Samsung’s launch announcement notes that color availability varies by market and carrier; the April 2024 deal itself does not establish a present-day offer or price.
