What you get in the 512GB S25 Ultra
Samsung’s U.S. product page identifies these key specifications and features:
Rank #2
- YOUR CONTENT, SUPER SMOOTH: The ultra-clear 6.7" FHD+ Super AMOLED display of Galaxy A17 5G helps bring your content to life, whether you're scrolling through recipes or video chatting with loved ones.¹
- LIVE FAST. CHARGE FASTER: Focus more on the moment and less on your battery percentage with Galaxy A17 5G. Super Fast Charging powers up your battery so you can get back to life sooner.²

| Feature | Samsung specification or claim |
|---|---|
| Processor | Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy |
| Main camera | 200MP wide-angle |
| Front camera | 12MP |
| Battery | 5,000mAh |
| Video playback | Up to 31 hours, a manufacturer claim rather than an independent test |
| Build and protection | Titanium frame, IP68 water and dust resistance, Gorilla Armor 2 glass |
| Memory and storage | 12GB memory; 256GB, 512GB or 1TB storage options |
| Stylus | Integrated S Pen |
The 512GB capacity is double the base model’s storage. It is useful for 8K video, large games, offline media and keeping a phone for three or more years without constantly deleting files. At the historical sale price, the extra capacity was especially attractive because the normal $120 gap between Samsung’s 256GB and 512GB list prices effectively disappeared versus the official 512GB price.
Who should consider buying it?
- People who want Samsung’s largest flagship screen and an integrated S Pen.
- Photographers and video users who value a high-resolution main sensor and multiple camera options.
- Power users who need 512GB for games, downloads and long-term storage.
- Upgraders from an older Galaxy Ultra, Note-series phone or other premium Android device.
- Shoppers who value an unlocked phone’s carrier flexibility.
Who should skip it?
- Anyone seeking a compact, light or inexpensive handset.
- Buyers who use little storage and would be satisfied with 256GB.
- People who dislike Samsung’s software or do not want Galaxy AI features.
- Shoppers who can obtain a lower effective cost through a carrier trade-in or new-line promotion and accept its conditions.
- Anyone buying solely because of an old “record low” headline without checking the current listing.
Galaxy AI and battery claims need context
Samsung markets features such as Now Brief and Gemini-related functions, but availability and behavior can vary by country, language, One UI or operating-system version, device model, carrier, account, compatible app and network connection. Samsung also cautions that AI output may not be accurate or complete. Some services can have separate terms or subscription requirements.

- TYPE IT IN. TRANSFORM IT FAST: Enhance any shot in seconds on your smartphone by using Photo Assist¹ with Galaxy AI.² Add objects, restore details, or apply new styles by simply typing or tapping

- FAST. POWERFUL. AI-READY: Power through your day with AI-accelerated performance from our fastest, smoothest and most powerful Galaxy processor yet, built to keep up with everything you do
- IMMENSELY IMMERSIVE: No matter where you are or what you’re watching, your favorite videos and more come to life with the vibrant display on Galaxy S26
- FIT EVERYONE IN THE SHOT: Group selfies are easier on your Samsung phone with a wider front camera⁴ that captures more of the scene, so no one gets left out of the moment
Likewise, “up to 31 hours of video playback” is a controlled Samsung estimate, not a promise of a full day of mixed use. Screen brightness, cellular signal, gaming, camera use, apps and software settings all affect endurance.
Checklist before paying for an alleged $1,119.99 listing
- Confirm the price is still exactly $1,119.99 at checkout.
- Verify that the selected configuration is 512GB, not 256GB.
- Check that the phone is unlocked and is a U.S. model compatible with your carrier.
- Confirm the condition is new, not renewed, used, open-box or refurbished.
- Review the named seller and whether Amazon or the seller fulfills the order.
- Read the return window and warranty terms for that exact listing.
- Check that no coupon, membership, trade-in, activation or financing requirement creates the displayed price.
- Review shipping and sales tax so the final total remains acceptable.
- Make sure color or inventory substitutions do not change the storage or condition.
- Save the order page and warranty details in case the marketplace listing changes.
Unlocked cash price versus carrier promotions
An unlocked $1,119.99 purchase is not directly comparable with a carrier offer that uses trade-in credits, installments, a new line or an extended service commitment. A carrier deal may produce a lower effective cost for a qualifying customer, but the credits and eligibility requirements should be calculated over the full term. Compare the total payments, required plan, trade-in value and cancellation consequences with the unlocked price.

Protection and ownership cost
A phone that costs more than $1,000 can be expensive to repair or replace. Samsung Care+ information is available at Samsung’s support page. Samsung says pricing depends on the device’s manufacturer suggested retail price; plan terms determine deductibles, claim limits, exclusions, eligibility windows and whether theft-and-loss coverage is included. A case, screen protector and charger are optional accessories, not requirements for the S25 Ultra’s core functions.
Bottom line on the old deal
At $1,119.99, the 512GB Galaxy S25 Ultra was a strong value: $300 below its $1,419.99 list price with flagship performance, a large camera system, S Pen and substantial storage. But the offer was verified on June 3, 2025. On August 18, 2026, treat that figure as price history until an Amazon page confirms the same 512GB, unlocked, new and properly warrantied configuration.
