On 12 September 2022, RS Group announced that it was bringing its MRO supply-chain businesses IESA and Synovos together under one name: RS Integrated Supply. The business provides outsourced procurement and storeroom management for industrial organisations. RS described the consolidation as a way to build a more efficient, scalable global service; those were stated aims, not independently verified results.
Which MRO businesses did RS Group consolidate?
RS Group united IESA and Synovos, previously separate brands for its MRO supply-chain solutions, under RS Integrated Supply. The company said the change was an initial step toward consolidating operating brands under a unified RS identity. Its corporate history also records IESA and Synovos as consolidated into RS Integrated Supply in 2022. The same history separately notes that Electrocomponents plc was rebranded as RS Group plc that year.
What does RS Integrated Supply do?
The business provides outsourced storeroom management and procurement for maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supply chains at multi-site industrial organisations. RS described its offer as combining engineering skills and on-site services with digital platforms. The platforms are intended to bring together supply-chain information, predictive intelligence and historical data, using collected, cleansed and standardised data for reporting and insight. These are descriptions of the company’s service, not independent evidence of customer savings or performance.
Why did RS Group bring the brands together?
In its 12 September 2022 announcement, RS said a single global brand was intended to support efficiency, sustainable value and scalability. It also presented the service as a way to improve reliability, standardisation and total cost efficiency across the supply chain. Debbie Bowring, then President of RS Integrated Supply, said the combined brand’s digitally enabled procurement and storeroom solutions and engineering skills provided “unmatched reliability, consolidation, standardisation and total cost efficiencies.” These are company claims and objectives; the announcement does not quantify savings or establish measured outcomes from the consolidation.

What happened to the business after the 2022 consolidation?
Later company reporting describes changes to the business’s operating strategy and capabilities. In its FY25 reporting for the year ended 31 March 2025, RS said its refreshed RS Integrated Supply strategy included exiting unprofitable clients, seeking new client acquisitions, and using standardisation and automation to improve efficiency and scalability. Those actions concern the business’s later direction and do not demonstrate that the brand consolidation itself caused improved results.
For the year ended 31 March 2026, RS said it continued to refocus RS Integrated Supply and invest in its MRO management platform and on-site capabilities. Its 2025/26 results described RS SYNC Mobile as bringing together product identification, classification and real-time inventory visibility across a curated marketplace of 24 million products. That figure describes the marketplace referenced in RS’s reporting, not a count of products held in a customer’s storeroom.
