Remittix and Shiba Inu are not like-for-like payment services. Remittix describes a service that converts crypto into bank-account payments; SHIB is a token used within a broader ecosystem, and a SHIB payment may run on Ethereum or Shibarium. The projects make different fee and speed claims, but the available documentation does not establish a comparable all-in cost or end-to-end speed winner.
What does each option let you pay with?
Remittix presents itself as a crypto-to-fiat network for sending funds to bank accounts and accepting business payments. The company says it supports more than 30 fiat currencies and advertises a flat cross-border fee with no foreign-exchange fee. Those are project claims, not independently verified confirmation of available destinations or a complete price for a particular transfer. Check the current route and quote on the Remittix site.
Shiba Inu’s documentation describes low-cost global payments as one use for its ecosystem, alongside trading, governance, NFTs, and identity features. That broad use-case statement does not show that any particular merchant accepts SHIB or that payment use is widespread. SHIB is not itself a payment network: a transaction depends on the network or service used to move it. See the project’s use-case documentation.
Shibarium is the ecosystem’s Ethereum Layer 2 network. Shiba Inu documentation lists Chain ID 109 and BONE as its currency symbol, and promotes the network for low-fee, fast transactions. A SHIB transaction on Ethereum and one routed through Shibarium are therefore not interchangeable for fee or speed comparisons; the recipient must be able to receive the asset on the chosen route.

How do the payment routes compare?
| Comparison | Remittix | SHIB / Shibarium |
|---|---|---|
| What the recipient gets | Remittix describes conversion to a bank-account payment. The destination and availability depend on the supported route; verify them with the service. | Crypto is transferred on a network. A bank deposit would require an additional conversion or payment service; the cited Shiba Inu pages do not establish one as part of a SHIB transfer. |
| Where the transaction happens | The site describes a crypto-to-fiat service; route-specific technical details are not stated on the reviewed page. | Could be an Ethereum transaction or a Shibarium transaction, among other possible services. Shibarium is described by Shiba Inu as an Ethereum Layer 2 (Shibarium documentation). |
| Fee information | The company advertises a flat cross-border fee and no FX fee, but a complete route-specific all-in quote is not stated on the reviewed page (Remittix). | Ethereum gas is paid in ETH and varies with computation and network conditions. Shiba Inu calls Shibarium fees low or minimal, but the cited documentation does not state a comparable live quote. Sources: Ethereum gas documentation and Shibarium documentation. |
| Speed claim | The project says bank transfers can arrive within minutes; that is a vendor estimate, not an independently measured end-to-end result (Remittix). | Shiba Inu’s payment page says value can move globally in seconds. This refers to a blockchain transaction claim, not bank settlement or a comparable independent test (Shibarium documentation). |
What fees should you count?
For a Remittix transfer
Do not treat “no FX fee” as proof that a transfer has no other costs or that the exchange rate matches a market rate. Before sending, check the amount the recipient is expected to receive and the quote’s expiry, along with any service charge, conversion rate, limits, and receiving-bank fees. The reviewed project page does not establish a complete all-in price for every currency corridor.
For SHIB on Ethereum
Ethereum gas pays for the computation a transaction uses. The fee depends on the gas required and the gas price, which responds to network demand; a contract call can use more gas than a simple transfer. Ethereum fees are paid in ETH, so a SHIB transfer does not have one fixed fee merely because the token is SHIB. A higher priority fee can make inclusion more attractive to validators, but it does not create a guaranteed confirmation time. See Ethereum.org’s gas and fees overview.

For SHIB on Shibarium
Shibarium’s documentation promotes low or minimal fees, but the cited pages do not provide a live quote comparable with a Remittix bank-transfer price. The documentation lists BONE as Shibarium’s currency symbol. If the recipient needs funds on another network or in fiat, account for any required bridge, conversion, or cash-out route rather than comparing only the transaction’s network fee.
Shiba Inu also documents a paymaster system that can sponsor gas or let an integrated application charge gas in an ERC-20 token. That depends on application integration; it does not make every ordinary SHIB transfer free. The project explains the mechanism in its Shib Paymaster documentation.

What does “faster” mean in each claim?
A blockchain confirmation and a usable bank deposit are different milestones. Shibarium’s seconds claim concerns movement on the network; Remittix’s minutes claim concerns funds arriving in a bank account. Neither source supplies an independent, consistently measured end-to-end comparison. For a real transfer, use the estimate for the specific bank corridor and payment method, and account for current chain conditions if the route includes a blockchain transaction.
Ethereum inclusion time also depends on network demand and fee settings. Contract operations may take more computation than simple transfers, so an Ethereum SHIB transfer should not be assumed to match the speed or cost of a Shibarium transaction.

How to choose for a particular payment
- Start with what the recipient needs. If they need a bank deposit, evaluate a service that performs fiat settlement and confirm that it supports the destination. If they can receive crypto, establish which token and network their wallet or service supports.
- Compare the amount received, not one advertised fee. For a fiat route, review service fees, exchange rate, limits, and bank charges. For an on-chain route, include gas and any bridge or cash-out costs needed to reach the recipient.
- Compare the same start and finish points. A blockchain estimate ends at network processing; a remittance estimate may include conversion and bank settlement. Check the route’s estimate through to the point when the recipient can actually use the funds.
- Confirm the route before sending. Check supported country, currency, payment method, wallet network, and required gas asset. The project pages do not establish that every corridor or merchant is supported.
Is there a fee or speed winner?
Not on the evidence available from the cited official pages. Remittix advertises a flat fee and no FX fee, but does not establish an all-in quote for a specific route. Shibarium promotes low fees and seconds-level network movement, but that is not a bank-delivery comparison; Ethereum costs vary with gas use and demand. Compare a current, route-specific quote with the recipient’s actual needs rather than treating either project’s headline claim as a universal result.
