Its “smart shared power network” appears to be a digitally managed portable-charging service—not an electricity grid, renewable-generation project, or peer-to-peer power market. QELNIX has described expansion plans and partnership activity in Southeast Asia, but the public evidence does not establish a large operating footprint, profitability, or independently verified environmental benefits.
What QELNIX says it is building
QELNIX presents itself as a provider of shared power banks, charging stations, software and IoT-enabled device management. The company’s stated goal is to make temporary access to phone power easier in places such as malls, airports, cafés, campuses, entertainment venues and transport hubs.
The phrase “energy network” needs careful interpretation. The available descriptions concern portable batteries that are borrowed, monitored and returned through connected stations. They do not describe utility-scale storage, renewable electricity generation, grid balancing or a market in which households trade electricity. The more precise description is a shared charging network with centralized software management.
QELNIX’s original profile appeared in TechBullion on July 7, 2025. That article uses broad language about a new era of green energy, but it does not provide audited deployment totals, customer numbers, financial statements, named venue contracts or independent lifecycle research. The profile is therefore best read as company-related promotional coverage rather than proof of regional energy-system change. Read the TechBullion profile.

How the shared power-bank service is supposed to work
- Find a station. A user locates a QELNIX station at a participating venue.
- Borrow a unit. The user accesses a power bank through the station and the company’s service flow.
- Charge a device. QELNIX advertises integrated three-in-one cables and support for PD3.0, although exact connector specifications and output wattage are not published in the available material.
- Return the unit. QELNIX advertises return-anywhere functionality, but the applicable station rules, coverage and exceptions are not disclosed publicly in the reviewed sources.
- Platform records the transaction. The connected system is intended to track availability, rentals, returns and station operations.
QELNIX’s website says access can take under 30 seconds. That is a company marketing claim, not an independently measured service-level result. The sources do not state the consumer rental price, deposit or authorization hold, late fees, payment methods, supported phones, refund policy or what happens when a return scan fails. Those terms should be confirmed in the relevant city before use. The company’s public login is shown at app.qelnix.cc.
What makes the network “smart”
QELNIX attributes several capabilities to its proprietary platform:
- IoT connections between stations and power banks
- Centralized device and merchant management
- Real-time monitoring of inventory and operating status
- Demand forecasting and resource allocation
- User and venue analytics
- Potentially flexible or dynamic pricing
A later company-related announcement also describes deployment, analytics, user operations and backend management as services for commercial partners. No public technical architecture, API documentation, benchmark, uptime report or independent evaluation was found. These should therefore be presented as QELNIX’s stated features, not as verified performance.
Who is the business for?
Consumers
The intended users are smartphone owners, travelers, commuters and visitors who need temporary power without carrying a personal battery. The convenience case is strongest in airports, malls, nightlife districts, campuses and transit locations where a user may not want to buy or carry another device.

Venue owners
QELNIX says a station can add a customer amenity, encourage longer visits, create advertising inventory and generate revenue through a sharing arrangement. These are commercial propositions rather than independently demonstrated outcomes. A venue should request actual utilization, dwell-time and revenue data before treating them as business results.
Deployment and channel partners
On June 11, 2026, QELNIX and Synthesis Group announced a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU). The announcement refers to commercial-property operators, retail groups, transport hubs and corporate clients, as well as expansion opportunities in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. An MOU records intended cooperation; it is not evidence that the named deployments or contracts have been completed. See the MOU announcement.
Investors and franchisees
QELNIX’s website solicits investors and franchisees. The reviewed material does not disclose capital requirements, territory rights, fees, revenue-share percentages, expected returns, financial statements or risk disclosures. “Passive income” language, if used in a sales conversation, should not be treated as a return guarantee.
Where QELNIX says it is expanding
QELNIX identifies Malaysia as its base. Company material connected with its appearance at The Battery Show Asia Hong Kong 2026 says the event took place March 10–12, 2026 and that the company was discussing regional partnerships. The same messaging names Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia as expansion or target markets.

Those announcements establish company-reported participation and plans, not a verified station count or operating presence in every country. What the sustainability claims establish—and what they do not
QELNIX’s website says it uses 100% renewable electricity, targets carbon-negative operations by 2027 and pursues recyclable or renewable casing materials, closed-loop reuse and lifecycle management. The company also says its cells support more than 1,000 charge cycles and advertises a 10-layer protection system with UL-certified lithium-polymer cells.
These statements are useful descriptions of the company’s goals and product positioning, but the supporting evidence is incomplete:
| Claim | What is publicly established | What remains unknown |
|---|---|---|
| 100% renewable electricity | QELNIX makes the claim on its website. | Whether it refers to a utility supply contract, certificates, offsets or another accounting method; the operational boundary is not stated. |
| Carbon-negative by 2027 | It is a future company target. | No achieved carbon balance, baseline, methodology or verification is provided. |
| More than 1,000 cycles | The website gives this figure for its cells. | Test protocol, conditions, degradation limit and independent report are not supplied. |
| UL-certified cells and 10-layer protection | These are advertised safety claims. | Certificate numbers, covered models, test scope and applicable jurisdictions are not identified. |
| Recyclable or closed-loop materials | The company describes these design intentions. | Material composition, collection rates, recycling partners and end-of-life results are not documented. |
A shared battery can reduce the need for each user to purchase a separate power bank, but that outcome depends on utilization, battery life, redistribution mileage, electricity sources, packaging, replacement rates and actual recycling. Calling the service a “green energy” project without lifecycle data would overstate what is known. “Shared charging service with sustainability goals” is more defensible.

Questions and failure points for consumers
- Is a charged unit actually available at the nearest station?
- Is there an open return slot when the rental ends?
- What price, deposit, authorization hold or late fee applies?
- Does a failed scan leave the rental running?
- Are the integrated cables compatible with the user’s device, and what output power is available?
- What support and refund process exists for a damaged unit, dead battery or disputed charge?
- What personal, location and payment data does the service collect?
- Is the service operating in the reader’s specific city?
Common practical failure modes include empty stations, unavailable return slots, app or network outages, damaged connectors, insufficient charging speed and payment disputes. A “renewable” label does not mean the battery has no environmental footprint.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Venue-owner due diligence
Before signing, a venue should obtain written answers to the following:
- Who owns, installs, maintains and replaces the hardware?
- What percentage of rental revenue is paid to the venue, and how is it calculated?
- Are there minimum-volume, exclusivity or territory terms?
- Who pays for electricity, connectivity, insurance and physical security?
- Who bears the cost of lost or damaged devices?
- What customer data is shared with the venue?
- What uptime, response-time and replacement commitments appear in the service-level agreement?
- What battery, fire-safety, electrical and transport compliance documents apply locally?
- What evidence supports claims about dwell time, spending or customer satisfaction?
Low-footfall sites, locations without dependable connectivity or power, venues that already offer free charging, and sites unable to secure equipment may be poor fits.

What remains unverified
- Station count and active-user total
- Confirmed operating markets and named venue contracts
- Consumer pricing, deposits and late-return rules
- Revenue, profitability and station utilization
- Independent charging-speed or uptime measurements
- UL certificate details and local fire-safety approvals
- Data-protection and payment-security practices
- Lifecycle emissions, recycling rates and progress toward the 2027 carbon target
- Whether the Synthesis Group MOU has produced completed deployments
Bottom line for a finance-focused reader
QELNIX is a real company promoting a plausible shared-charging model: portable power banks, connected stations, venue partnerships and software intended to manage inventory and demand. Its 2026 event appearance and Synthesis Group MOU show continuing promotional and business-development activity.
They do not yet prove a profitable Southeast Asian network or a measurable new era of green energy. For consumers, the value depends on local availability, transparent pricing and reliable returns. For venues, the key variables are utilization, maintenance, liability and the revenue-share contract. For investors and franchisees, audited economics and signed deployments matter far more than promotional growth language.
