VICE reported the $71.76 and $239.76 figures on July 1, 2026, and TechRadar’s page updated August 12, 2026, also listed the two-year offer at $2.99 per month. The arithmetic is 70% off, but those are reported deal figures rather than a guarantee that every visitor will see the same checkout.

The important catch: prepaid billing and renewal

Is it available to existing subscribers?
Not necessarily. Proton’s page suggests additional loyalty perks may be offered, but it does not say every existing subscriber receives the public 70% promotion. - You need a paid VPN on several devices, plus streaming or P2P support.
